Easily. There are 3-4 guys that could do that. Kohler for sure. We have a good team already.Does this push them into top 10?
Either makes kentucky a top 8 team, kholer makes us top 12
Kohler could make us even better, I think he fits the system and locker room better from what I’ve heard about Hall at least. Mitchell I would love to have too.Either makes kentucky a top 8 team, kholer makes us top 12
totally agree fit/need wise with kohler. not as splashy but good culture guy who will play 100% every night. it will be hall's 5th team in five years. proven talent, but how much is he really going to care and will he come in trying to "be the guy" and mess with the mojo in the locker room.Kohler could make us even better, I think he fits the system and locker room better from what I’ve heard about Hall at least. Are we out on Kohler? I haven't been keeping up with it.I think Kohler makes you top 8
I think Hall makes you top 10
I think Saunders makes you top 12
The reason — even though it’s probably Hall>Saunders>Kohler in terms of pure isolated player rating, Kohler solves more issues with this roster. Unfortunately, it seems he won’t be an option.
He’s unlikely to be eligible to play for anyone other than Mich St.Are we out on Kohler? I haven't been keeping up with it.
Dumb question but why would he be ineligible but Mitchell eligible? Kohler is a part of the California lawsuit like Donovan Dent. And people originally(haven’t followed it since) thought he’d transfer to Gonzaga. He’s unlikely to be eligible to play for anyone other than Mich St.
The guys who put their name in the portal — even though they had no known eligibility at that time — have a clear path to being options. People who didn’t hit the portal back then, like Kohler, seem unlikely to be options.Dumb question but why would he be ineligible but Mitchell eligible? The best fit two that I know did that are Hall and Tyson. Do we know of others? The guys who put their name in the portal — even though they had no known eligibility at that time — have a clear path to being options. Weve had enough "culture" guys in the pope era, gets some elite players and lets compete for oncetotally agree fit/need wise with kohler. not as splashy but good culture guy who will play 100% every night. it will be hall's 5th team in five years. proven talent, but how much is he really going to care and will he come in trying to "be the guy" and mess with the mojo in the locker room.
none of these guys are elite. if they were elite.....they would be in the NBA.Weve had enough "culture" guys in the pope era, gets some elite players and lets compete for once
It was Steven Pearl which is a huge caveat, but he had a lot of problems at auburn last year with his attitude and play. Even the fans wanted him benched.Weve had enough "culture" guys in the pope era, gets some elite players and lets compete for once
I don’t know of anyone else but I usually can’t follow as closely through the week. Most of what I know came from yesterday and Saturday. The best fit two that I know did that are Hall and Tyson. Do we know of others?
This having to have entered the transfer portal stipulation when there was no reason for them to enter at the time they would’ve had to do it, which will significantly harm these athletes earning potential, screams a Heitner case lol
5 schools in 5 years....tells you somethingIt was Steven Pearl which is a huge caveat, but he had a lot of problems at auburn last year with his attitude and play. Even the fans wanted him benched.
I know, thats the problem w the pope era, no elite guysnone of these guys are elite. if they were elite.....they would be in the NBA.
I could care less about the NBA. Hall scored 19 a game in the SEC. Thats pretty close to elite for a college player.none of these guys are elite. if they were elite.....they would be in the NBA.
Hall is the move here
I think he needs the ball too much to be a fit with what we already have.Everyone not being a fan of Hall are ridiculous. He’s by far the best player out of any of the guys we are recruiting. 19PPG on 38% 3 point shooting, 85% FT, 7 rebounds and nearly 3 assists per game. He can handle the ball and initiate offense at the 4 or 3 position.
I'm very hopeful we can somehow get Kohler. I think with any of those 3, we look to be in the top 10 preseason polls, by any reaosnable take.
Kohler looks to have that fit for our team. Has that feeling. The good chemistry vibe.
He would be a massive get.
That's not true at all. The NBA is a different game and the type of players that thrive in the NBA, aren't winning titles in college.none of these guys are elite. if they were elite.....they would be in the NBA.
With the way Noah has been performing this summer do we even need to add anyone else? Don't wanna upset the apple cart.
