You are incredibly evasive in your criticism of my post. Do you have a specific position here?
I’m having a hard time believing that you guys are buying that he was killed with a .30-06. The story as given makes no sense. But people bought the wet market crap as the origin of Covid for a year, so I guess we aren’t there yet.

Anyhow, I digressed, Marco using that and Butler (which the lack of curiosity there is interesting) for political talking points is just what you would expect

So you think they have the wrong guy in Utah and Butler?

I didn’t say that. I said he was not shot with.a .30-06. I don’t claim to know what happened, but it wasn’t that. I suspect it’s more than a simple “you’ve got the wrong guy” thing, but I don’t know. A plausible story would have been nice. Will it get to trial is the question.

The defense is correctly noting the inconclusive bullet fragment result and using it to argue for more scrutiny or to plant doubt. However, treating that single inconclusive finding as proof the bullet “didn’t match” the rifle—or as a major hole in the case—misrepresents how ballistics forensics works. Damaged bullet fragments frequently yield inconclusive results without ruling out the weapon, especially when the cartridge case does match and the rest of the evidence (DNA, confessions, recovery of the rifle, etc.) aligns. This is a standard defense approach in high-stakes cases: emphasize weaknesses in one area of forensics while the totality of evidence remains strong. The inconclusive bullet result is explainable by the physics of the wound and ammunition type; it does not contradict the positive casing match or other links to the rifle and suspect.

Some background here:

Why the Bullet Fragment Was Damaged and InconclusiveKirk was shot in the neck with what appears to have been a soft-point hunting round (e.g., .30-06 Remington Core-Lokt type, consistent with the rifle and recovered fragments). These bullets are designed to expand and transfer energy inside the target rather than pass through cleanly. When they strike dense structures like bone or vertebrae:
  • They deform, mushroom, and fragment.
  • Fine microscopic striations on the jacket are destroyed or obscured.
  • Only a deformed jacket fragment and lead pieces were recovered from the autopsy (lead fragments were unsuitable for comparison).
This is a well-known limitation in ballistics. A neck shot increasing the chance of bone impact makes an inconclusive bullet result scientifically expected, not suspicious.

The bullet fragment comparison is only one narrow piece of forensic evidence. The overall case against Robinson includes:
  • DNA consistent with Robinson on the rifle trigger, other rifle parts, the fired cartridge casing, unfired cartridges, and the towel it was wrapped in.
  • Confessions: Texts to his roommate/partner admitting “I am” the shooter and citing motive (“I had enough of his hatred”); a note left under a keyboard stating he took the opportunity to kill Kirk.
  • Physical/recovered evidence: The rifle (grandfather’s Mauser 98 .30-06) found nearby, engraved casings with memes (“Hey fascist! Catch!”, etc.) linked to a Dremel tool associated with Robinson, test-fired casings matching the rifle, surveillance/video placing a person consistent with Robinson on the rooftop.
  • Other: Class characteristics of the bullet fragments consistent with the rifle; the rifle was operable and test-fired.

You may want to stay away from online conspiracies. This kid did it and will be guilty either through plea or conviction. It was his leftwing disagreements with Charlie Kirk that motivated him. You were duped. It happens 🤷‍♂️

That's not it at all. It's what a .30-06 would do, not the fragments. His neck wouldn't stop a .30-06.

I do agree there are crazy conspiracies out there on it, most of which I'm sure I'm not even aware of. But I'm not even talking about that. I'm just using basic common sense (I've bled more cutting myself shaving), basic physics (this isn't a 9mm), with a sprinkler of cynicism (why would anybody be cynical!).

Are you out here arguing that the Robinson kid didn’t shoot Kirk?

He obviously did. Almost nothing is a conspiracy people. Almost nothing.

Left or right, doesn’t matter. Conspiracies are basically bunk.

Hell, we got the Epstein files and there still isn’t any there there. Because Epstein was a huge douche who manipulated many young women (some illegally and some legally) into serving his own prurient needs. Separately, he was a jock sniffer for actually famous and or impressive people. Imagine being a jock sniffer for Donald Trump … sad days.

It's ok to be wrong. There are tons of crazy theories being spun online through both sides on this one. The knucklehead in custody did it.

This is going to trial unless the prosecution offers a deal for just a life sentence. I doubt they will with the overwhelming evidence, but that is why the defense is planting the doubt. If you watched his lover's testimony, that is pretty convincing. Not counting the rest of the mountain of evidence.

I guess you are all assuming the weapon is the .30-06 because nobody is addressing that. The wound is not matching the weapon. Pretty simple really.

I don’t believe the current story about him assembling, taking down, then reassembling the rifle before ditching it. No.

I haven’t really invested much energy into the story or the conspiracies around it. I do have a lot of experience with firearms though and when I heard that part, I call ********.

I don’t really care much further than that.

CHINA, CHINA, CHINA!

What a clown and what damage he is causing the USA. The fool claims that China interfered with the 2020 election. No back up, just the opposite documents released demonstrate they did not and no one has altered even one vote. Came from his Intelligence community in 2021. He has to argue around the fact that he was President in 2020 and the intelligence community was staffed by his people. The election run by Democrat Obama in 2016 was not compromised and resulted in his election. The election in 2024 run by Democrat Sleepy Joe was also fine and resulted in Trump winning. But the one he oversaw was compromised.
So, he claims they lied to him and doctored the daily briefings (which we all know he refuses to read) to hide the interference from him. Except the head of ODNI was Radcliffe his man that he has now made head of CIA, and I think head of CIA at that time was Grennel that is also holding a post in the Trump II admin.
He points to China obtaining voter rolls as if that is dangerous, however, they are public documents and available to ANYONE and typically posted online. He releases a top-secret document revealing that Venezuela has some capability to switch votes. However, it states that they can do so in Venezuelan elections. LOL he considers you all dunces that can't read.
Finally, he releases documents that reveal that Russia did actively interfere in the 2016, 2020, and 2024 elections. He dispels the Russia, Russia, Russia Hoax BS claim that you Trumpers still keep repeating because you refuse to read the Mueller or Rubio Reports. Maybe now that your Fearless Cult Leader has dispelled the notion that it was a hoax, I won't have to see those ignorant posts any longer.
Sad, sad day for the USA.

There is really no big deal of disassembly or assembling a simple firearm.

As a teenager I could do either with a Garand, blindfolded.

Does this apply to Colorado polluting Arizona :)

Seriously, I think Trump has bigger fish to fry but he works 18 hours a day so way more energetic than me. He always is negotiating, it is his personality, but I'm not sure he doesn't push it too far sometimes. What is Canada supposed to do?

ps. it is raining in Phoenix this week.

The wildfires negatively impact US citizens. As an example, many youth sporting events get canceled due to the poor quality of air. This isn’t in the same Trump realm where he picked a fight with the mayor of London his first as in.

I saw Phoenix airport got .01” one morning this week, breaking a dry streak of 105 days. All the way up to 0.7” of rain this year. What a place to live.

It would be wise to get used to most people using subscription AI for information to help build ideas and analysis, emails, presentantions, etc. It is not plagiarism. Welcome to 2026, BW 🥂 !
Did you or someone/something else produce product ?

It was plagiarism in 2020 and in 2026.

Welcome to honesty in writing, any year. Footnotes are key !

Like Joey in Syracuse Law School and his "papers".

Frats at Cuse used to roam corridors looking for Profs that left year ending papers on chairs outside the classrooms. Any paper with an A was scooped up for the frats files to use down the line in the same course.

3 firefighters and 1 pilot dead. 4,000+ firefighters working the fires in CO right now. Hundreds of houses gone. Close to 4 million acres burned in the US in 2026.

The people talking about Antarctica and glacial ice don’t pay attention to major local issues because they are too worried about winning political arguments.

Sorry about the smoke out east, it does seem inconvenient. Incredibly sorry about games being delayed and cancelled.

Our youngest never sends an email or even a message in his work day without using AI. So, he needs to cite his AI source every time? My wife uses it in her job all day for presentations, inter-office memos, etc. All Day long. Everyday she works. She works for a top 100 US company and they push all of their employees to use and get more skilled using AI for everything. If you don't, you will be less valued.

Nowadays it is a highly regarded skill to use AI to work faster and more efficient. I guess you could use an asterisk to cite Claude in your automatic signature line on your emails. I asked Grok(that I subscribe to) if I needed to cite it and it said no. But you do you, brother.

Happy 2026🍾
