I know that Bradley played on a 7v7 with a lot of the Shelby guys and a couple from other local schools in the area including Crest and KM. Dad was sounding confident that his son was going to win the battle. I was surprised they moved on so quick. I am a firm believer in competing and best guy wins. The summer dead periods and right before official practice always have this type of movement.

The first two weeks of the season in Cleveland County is going to be electric. There is a lot of high end talent spread around the county. There are double digit kids in CC that already hold FBS level offers and that list is only going to grow once we get 4-5 games into the season.

If another team got a penalty that was assessed on the kickoff it was guaranteed to go through the uprights. I don’t think we’ve had a kicker that would send it to the field house on XP’s like him since.

They barely make top 5 in Cleveland County if you include JV teams.
So you really think the top 4 teams in your conference are that much better than the top 4 teams in Shelby’s conference? I’m not saying there not, just asking. I think we both agree after you get past the top 4 teams in either conference there is a huge drop off.
We play NG and FV, so I will give you an honest opinion if they are that much better than Cherryville and West Lincoln.
I do think the top 4 in Big South is better than your conferences top 4

We were 19th out of 20, no complaining here. We play 3 good teams and 7 not so good teams in my opinion. Again I’m just talking top 4 from the conferences. Naturally comparing (2) 6A teams and (2) 5A teams vs (2) 4A teams and (2) 3A teams is going to be tough for the smaller schools but this year I thinks it’s really really really close.You should link that star article on the strength of schedules.

I read it this morning in the Gaston Gazette, you know the Daddy to the Shelby Star…that is how I knew Cramer was 19 and knew what you were talking about. Again not arguing you guys take on all comers or that you’re really good. Wouldn’t have even committed until you originally took a jab at the conference. Definitely have some very bad teams in our conference but again there are bad teams in every conference. I was just trying to get some discussion going about the top of each conference since there are 2 Cleveland County teams in each conference and this is the Cleveland County Thread. You guys were better by a good margin last year. I just think the gap has closed a whole whole whole lot this year. However I might be proven wrong in 5-7 weeks with scrimmages and games the first few weeks. I’m extremely to find out.
Would encourage all the single folks to find someone that looks at them the way Cramer fans look at their conference.
Nope not the entire conference, just looking forward to the first two weeks of the season, maybe a few of the scrimmages involving the top 4 of the conferences before the regular season starts. Only way to take the opinions out of this.
