Bradley got majority of spring ball snaps in Barnes system so I’m a little surprised that in a month he decided he couldn’t win the job..But his father been throwing around coming back to Shelby on Facebook and Bradley actually played for Shelbys grade school teams
I know that Bradley played on a 7v7 with a lot of the Shelby guys and a couple from other local schools in the area including Crest and KM. Dad was sounding confident that his son was going to win the battle. I was surprised they moved on so quick. I am a firm believer in competing and best guy wins. The summer dead periods and right before official practice always have this type of movement.

The first two weeks of the season in Cleveland County is going to be electric. There is a lot of high end talent spread around the county. There are double digit kids in CC that already hold FBS level offers and that list is only going to grow once we get 4-5 games into the season.
I seen the spouse is working in KM schools starting this school year, is the former Georgia Bulldog lineman joining the staff? I know you said it may happen a few months ago.

Kareem is coaching at Ashbrook this season. I am hoping we can grab him at some point, he would be a great addition. He built up a nice coaching resume in Georgia.

I remember Cline lining up for that record breaking field goal, thinking NO WAY this kid can kick it that far, and BOOM he sure did ha ha...

Saw that record broken three times

Clint Gwaltney in 87 53 yards
Tyler Ashe in 95 58 against Burns
then this one from Cline Ingle in 2000 against Shelby 61 yards

I remember seeing SL with five family sized bags of Cheetos back in the day and saying no way he eats all them and 2 hours later bags were empty
BOOM he sure did

Gwaltney was the best I had seen before Succop from Hickory came along
Those boys could boot it
Grier for Crest this year will have a huge year , kid came a long way last year and is automatic
Super proud of him and the core of Martin and McCurry as snapper and holder.

Wonder if Barnes still using the field goal attempt to pin teams inside the 10 yard line😂

I remember in pregame Gwaltney kicking extra points on top of the former Kings Mountain field house lol
