I didn't notice the purple jersey either until I read the other post. The tweet was still in bad taste after the incident with CC last night.
I do think there could be some merit to this.
The turnover was bad, but Caitlin jogged to the other end instead of sprinting to contest the layup. That's probably a benchable offense for most coaches. If Caitlin lacks as much respect for White as some suggest Caitlin MAY have just said fug it. Not saying she did, but she may have been frustrated enough with everything else to do so.

The weird part is that even with the purple jersey it still looks more like CC than DB. Including the fact that the player in the drawing is white, which Bonner is not. It’s almost like some sort of bizarre amalgamation of CC and DB.

Caitlin from about the free throw line threw a soft pass into Billings (?) which was easily intercepted and went the other way. SW immediately called a TO and Caitlin was out of the game.

I saw footage of the bench during a TO moments before Clark left for the locker room. She looked pissed and when the team broke and high fived, she didn't even touch hands with the others. Then she walked away. I thought, she probably said screw this...lol.

Exactly. It's easy at first look to think that is a depiction of Caitlin especially given the attention the "infamous" play has garnered.
A suspicious mind could almost think the ambiguity was on purpose to provide cover for its intended meaning, but Bonner did in fact hit the floor during the game too. Who knows?
When Caitlin initially went out of the game I just assumed it was for a break like they do all the time so what happened just prior didn't register as important.
Yep, this is the footage I looked at last night. Jon asked if it looked like Clark was hurt, moments before she walked off. I told another poster it looked like she just said something like screw this lol.

Hmm, maybe your take is right. Some think Caitlin got pulled for that play which in all honesty wouldn't have been undeserved. The way Caitlin just kinda wondered off without a trainer is also what is fuelling the speculation. But it is just that, speculation.
These women are just so catty, so petty, so jealous. It's like they're 15 year old girls again and are mad because the boys are paying more attention to that one girl that's cuter than the rest. So they resort to dragging her down in any and every way they possibly can. Whether it's current players going after her non-stop physically, or former players and WNBA pundits verbally going after her at every chance. Mostly angry black women like Sheryl Swoopes, Monica McNutt, Cari Champion, et al, who can't stand the fact that this skinny white girl from Iowa is the face of the WNBA and the most popular player on the planet. It's gotten to be really gross and an embarrassment for women athletes.
