I paid $2.99 yesterday…TN is a great countryAlthough a good idea, we won't need to. The national average is already well below $5, and dropping.

“300 million of taxpayers money”….we know who watched MSNowTo go from nothing to 25 billion along with a extra 300 billion of America tax payers money , and keep control of the stairs , most lopsided deal in history
I fondly remember my teenage yesrs and the hostage crisis. Carter was a cream puff. Reagan says the minute I take office the hostages will be considered POWs. They came home then.I don't particularly care for Trump's social media posts and style, but the guy knows what he's doing. He plays the haters like Charlie Daniels played the fiddle. Americans tend to think foreigners have the same values as americans and think like americans. they do not, particularly the middle east.
What was the tangible results again? Kicking the can 10 years down the road with Iran not allowing inspectors. But you do you. I have lived a long life. Seen it all materialize. Obama unfroze Iranian money, and it’s great. Trump will unfreeze their money based on performance factors…how terrible. Before you insult me or make political assumptions, I am a registered independent with moderate views, who used to identify more with republicans growing up. To anyone who can critically think with any measure of objectivity, this agreement with Iran is absolutely horrendous. If you review the main objectives for starting this war in the first place, we virtually accomplished nothing and at an enormous cost. It is a simple as that, despite what many on here will argue, this agreement is much weaker than JCPOA which was negotiated over many months during a previous administration and without a massive economic disruption. Iran had agreed in writing, they would neither develop or seek a nuclear weapon, this is a fact. Yes, the previous administration gave Iran 1.7 billion dollars as part of settlement for a previous treaty and yes the previous administration unfroze 100 billion dollars of Iranian assets. However, with the JCPOA, our side came away with tangible results(despite what Fox News will tell you). To be blunt, because of the terrible agreement, Iran as a regime is better off now than they were before we attacked them. They now have control of the strait of Hormuz, they will be able charge tolls, something they previously were not doing. Furthermore, they are now getting access to a $300 billion fund to repair the destruction we enacted upon them.
You based your opinion on that? Biden forced the vaccine on everyone….I guess in your mind he deserves two prizes.I voted 3 times for Trump. He has betrayed EVERYTHING that i voted for. Even put Howard Lutnick in the wh. https://www.axios.com/2025/09/03/covid-vaccine-trump-nobel-peace-prize-pfizer
You lost us at “professors”Dude. We can read and comprehend. Doesn't take a professor to understand this MOU
It's an awful deal. L. Graham said the straits being opened was the big win in the MOU. We fought, lost lives and spent billions and billions for what we had before the war started.
Listen to what professors are saying about the deal if you are not capable of comprehending this MOU.
Did you take the time to read the post in which I responded? If so, you'll understand why I used professor (referencing the "keyboard" professor)You lost us at “professors”
actually I think it may end up being our money after listening to comments by the vice president“300 million of taxpayers money”….we know who watched MSNow
I guess you have forgotten or did not pay attention to everything Trump gave away, what pisses me off, trump had all this tough talk for years about how he would increase the pressure upon Iran, by not allowing them to sell oil, increase the sanctions even further etc, and then when it's his turn to negotiate, Iran literally gets everything they want while we get absolutely nothing in return. He just made Iran much stronger and they will be a bigger problem in the future than they were thanks to the "art of the deal". Great job Trump!I fondly remember my teenage yesrs and the hostage crisis. Carter was a cream puff. Reagan says the minute I take office the hostages will be considered POWs. They came home then.
Carter, both Bush’s, Clinton, Obama, Biden all played Candy Land while Iran killed thousands and turned nuclear inspectors away like you shut the door on a Jehovah’s Witness. They understand force, Trump gave them that. Biden gave them “don’t.”
I’ll take “force” for $200 Alex. We know Candy Land doesn’t work.
But hey, that reflection pool gets more coverage by the left than the border or Samoli fraud. Sad days.
Did I mention gas is $2.99 in a real state….lol

Be careful. Someone may say you have "TCS" (Trump Cult Syndrome). After all, even Mike Pence referred to the MOU as "appeasement".
The fact conveniently left out by the TDS crowd is that the Obama agreement had an expiration date, October 2025, and Iran had already said they would no longer abide by it. Acting like the Obama deal was some great, powerful deterrent to Iran developing nuclear weapons is completely false and anyone in the Trump hatred hysteria crowd who doesn't acknowledge that it is false is either ignorant of the facts or is being intentionally dishonest. The more you hear all of the bs tough talk trump and his bunch spewed about the previous agreement made by Obama, then you learn more and more about this agreement, you just can't make this stuff up. This is an international embarrassment to our country. Iran owns this administration!
If you think Iran is stronger today than on March 1, there is really no need for anyone to talk to you.I guess you have forgotten or did not pay attention to everything Trump gave away, what pisses me off, trump had all this tough talk for years about how he would increase the pressure upon Iran, by not allowing them to sell oil, increase the sanctions even further etc, and then when it's his turn to negotiate, Iran literally gets everything they want while we get absolutely nothing in return. Stronger today, no. More leverage, yes.If you think Iran is stronger today than on March 1, there is really no need for anyone to talk to you.
More leverage, no. More loser's prideful hubris, yes. They know now that they are powerless to stop us, and more importantly, Israel, from bombing them at will. Their only threat today is the threat of attacking other Gulf states with missiles. That threat is going to diminish as the Gulf states that viewed them as an annoyance now view them as an enemy. The Gulf states are Arabs, Iranians are Persian, not Arab. There is no sense of "brotherhood". Iran's actions, attacking the Gulf states, is going to push the Gulf states more into an alliance with the US and, to a lesser degree, but still important, Israel. Iran will now be seen as a common enemy by every country in the region. Iran has no allies anywhere in the world. China only views them as an oil vendor, they have no love for a theocratic state and are never going to fight to protect Iran. Russia does not give them a second thought, they are useless to Russia. India is not going to jeopardize relations with the US to stand up for Iran. Europe is still soft on Iran, but the new knowledge that Iran has missiles capable of striking Western Europe is going to make Iran much less benign in European eyes.Stronger today, no. More leverage, yes.
I will reserve judgement when a final deal is signed. However, I don't like the MOU BS.Be careful. Someone may say you have "TCS" (Trump Cult Syndrome). After all, even Mike Pence referred to the MOU as "appeasement".
It's been confirmed that we are powerless in stopping them from shutting down the Strait. Claimed ability??? You are kidding? They have proven they have the ability. That is leverage and why Trump signed this crappy MOU. You can spin it however you would like but it's reality.More leverage, no. More loser's prideful hubris, yes. They know now that they are powerless to stop us, and more importantly, Israel, from bombing them at will. Their only threat today is the threat of attacking other Gulf states with missiles. Iran's only bargaining chip is their claimed ability to close the Strait. I look for many Gulf states to ramp up pipeline construction in the coming years to bypass the strait, If Iran tries closing the strait, I can see the US taking the gloves off and really pummeling their oil and other infrastructure. The cost to Iran would be prohibitive.
They had the same ability before the war, they did not gain any leverage. If they develop nuclear weapons, you will see what real leverage looks like. If nothing had been done now, they would have built up their missile reserves to the point they could develop nuclear weapons under a shield of the threat of massive missile attacks if anyone tried to stop them. Once they had a nuclear weapon, they would hold the entire region hostage. It's been confirmed that we are powerless in stopping them from shutting down the Strait. Claimed ability??? You are kidding? They have proven they have the ability. That is leverage and why Trump signed this crappy MOU. You can spin it however you would like but it's reality.
We obliterated their nuclear weapons capabilities earlier this year. These were the words of our of Trumps folks. Maybe look up the definition of the word obliterate? Yet, we start a war to take away their unclear capabilities that we already obliterated?? Makes perfect sense, right? There is no winning with the TDS crowd.
If we had gone in and destroyed Iran completely the complaint would be that we did not ''give peace a chance'' and ''Trump is Hitler''.
The goal is to get rid of Iran's nuclear weapons capabilities and that goal is still achievable.
We obliterated their nuclear weapons earlier this year so please stop with the nonsense. Or maybe Trump's folks were lying about them being obliterated? 1+1 is not adding up to 2 unless you have TDV.They had the same ability before the war, they did not gain any leverage. If they develop nuclear weapons, you will see what real leverage looks like. If nothing had been done now, they would have built up their missile reserves to the point they could develop nuclear weapons under a shield of the threat of massive missile attacks if anyone tried to stop them. They can be pesky about the strait, but if the US brought all force to bear, the strait would be open. We are far from powerless in stopping them from closing the strait. If Iran closed the strait without being attacked, more countries than the US would respond. This closure showed that even closed, world markets did not collapse as predicted. Yes, fuel and oil prices rose, but, economies didn't collapse due to the loss of Persian Gulf oil.
How expensive would gasoline have to be before you said it was OK for Iran to have a nuclear weapon? Would the death of a few million Israelis be worth cheap oil? If you think Iran can close the strait without a nuclear weapon, think about their ability to close it with one.
More TDS!!!We obliterated their nuclear weapons capabilities earlier this year. These were the words of our of Trumps folks. Maybe look up the definition of the word obliterate? Yet, we start a war to take away their unclear capabilities that we already obliterated?? Makes perfect sense, right?
On the bright side, we are working to open the Strait that was open before the war started. A moral victory for Trump. Hence, the art of the deal.
That's the best ya got? No defense, default to TDS. You learned from the best.More TDS!!!
We have now moved to the verification stage.
That's the best ya got? No defense, default to TDS. You learned from the best.
If you get your opinion from MSM, he does nothing but lie and EVERYTHING he does is wrong.TDS is Trump Deflection Syndrome. It’s in his DNA.
i can’t square up his statements about the “total obliteration” of their nuclear capabilities after the June bombings and starting what we’re doing now.
Was he lying then or now or both?
He got played by Bibi.
I think this Iran situation will go on into the year 2028.I will reserve judgement when a final deal is signed. However, I don't like the MOU BS.
The fact ducks died in the pool tells me something toxic was put into it.Compulsive liar!
Trump's claims that the Reflecting Pool's issues were caused by a vandal who managed to slash a supposed gash the length of a football field into the pool without being seen by a single tourist or law-enforcement officer is absurd on its face. Despite dozens of reporters, influencers, and thousands of tourists venturing to the Reflecting Pool in the past days to check out the algae-infested, sloughing mess in front of the Lincoln Memorial, not a single person has managed to document evidence of this, nor has Trump or the White House been able to provide any. Now, to no one's surprise, new documents obtained by The New York Times confirm that the White House' claims of vandalism causing the Reflecting Pool's sealant to peel up and water to turn green are what we all knew them to be: ********.
The documents, which came from the National Parks Service, show that virtually immediately after the pool was refilled following the installation of Trump's "American Flag Blue" epoxy lining, issues began to arise. Maintenance workers discovered cuts in the specialized foam that fills expansion joints between the concrete slabs of the pool, peeling caulking, and other holes and cracks. The documents describe the slashes in the foam as two cuts, each approximately 171 feet long. These are perhaps the cuts that Trump is referring to, but the documents obtained by the Times make clear that the issues with the foam are unrelated to the peeling of the coating Trump had installed.
At least six individuals have been arrested for supposedly "vandalizing" the Reflecting Pool and its lining, but all available evidence of the arrests — including videos of several of the detentions — show law enforcement detaining what seem to be mostly curious tourists reaching down to touch the water or the slabs of plastic that are floating to the pool's surface.
Regardless of the ducks, Trump flat out lied (again)? He said vandals put a 350 foot cut in the liner and he personally saw the cut. You appear to be good with the continued lies. TDV for sure. The fact ducks died in the pool tells me something toxic was put into it.
The hysteria over a pool lining by the left and the media is almost comical.
You should get a life. Absolutely pathetic.Regardless of the ducks, Trump flat out lied (again)? He said vandals put a 350 foot cut in the liner and he personally saw the cut. You appear to be good with the continued lies. TDV for sure.
George Castansa one said, "it's not a lie if you truly believe it".
Trumps cronies poured a bunch of Hydrogen Peroxide in the water. I'm fairly certain that this isn't healthy for a duck. Security cameras couldn't catch the vandals but cameras were able to catch Trumps cronies dumping in Hydrogen peroxide? Right on!
Both are possibilities, IMO.Now that it's become a political flashpoint, I doubt we'll ever really know the "truth". Liberals are going to say it was a stupid idea doomed to fail. Conservatives are going to say it was vandalized.
It is both plausible and likely that there was some vandalism involved. Certain people just wanted the renovation to fail for some reason. I'd be surprised if there wasn't vandalism.
There is also the reality that it's a 6.5 million gallon pool of stagnant water with an extremely shallow depth of 1.5-2.5 feet which heats up rapidly and that gets pooped in by birds. If you were designing an incubator for algal growth, it would be the reflecting pool. There is probably no cost-effective way of preventing algal blooms. One theory is that painting the pool blue fueled algal growth by making it retain more heat, but it's not likely that was much of a factor...b/c algal growth has always been a problem. Painting might have raised the temperature slightly, but not enough to have really impacted algal growth.
It's no mystery how to get rid of the algae and prevent future growth, but doing it on a scale of nearly 7 million gallons and maintaining it is the trick.
Harris never really laid out her plans as president. You don't have to be a fan of any of them. I will be the first in line to say that I am not a Trump fan. The biggest reason is I always sensed that he doesn't really stand on anything. He was a liberal until he was not. He pounced on the fear some people felt in Obama being elected and started with all this bring America back talk without telling what he was bringing it back to. With that being said, my life hasn't fundamentally changed that much with any of them. I am keeping my eye on this talk of raising the full retirement age to 69 because I have already made my plans around closing everything up after my 67th birthday. However, that is about it. I have done what I can do. It's time for the next generation to step up. My issue with Trump now is he is always talking tough to ultimately back down. Thus, the nickname TACO (Trump Always Chickens Out). I may not like you as a Conservative, but I will respect you if you stand on it. Don't back down because you receive pushback.
Regardless of the ducks, Trump flat out lied (again)? He said vandals put a 350 foot cut in the liner and he personally saw the cut.
You can watch his press conference. He said it was cut with a box cutter or exacto knife. He started out at 250 feet then went up to 350 feet. The press asked for evidence. I'm paraphrasing but he said he saw it with his own two eyes, that is his evidence. He's the only one that has seen it. Thousands of tourists and media with cameras and nobody else has put their eyes on the giant cut.Reading your other post, there are two documented cuts of 170 feet? And Trump is talking about 350 feet?
340 vs 350 is too big of a coincidence for me, and tells me that those cuts are probably what hes talking about.

Imagine being so pathetic that you have to go to a gamecock sports board because you are triggered by Trump and a reflecting pool.Okay, you seem to be contradicting yourself here. No one but Trump has seen the cut, but you earlier typed:

You then immediately follow that by saying the NYT has documents proving Trump lied. And part of those documents are listing two 170 foot cuts.
That seems to corroborate Trump's statement, not refute it.
Fair enough. I meant nobody from the public and media. Of course the parks and rec along with all Trumps sheep have seen it (wink wink). Wasn't it Trump that also said this material couldn't be cut?Okay, you seem to be contradicting yourself here. No one but Trump has seen the cut, but you earlier typed:
