I am not posting this as being critical with situation with the Reflection Pool, but I just find these tweets humorous. The Iran war and the reflection pool are proof that he knows what he's doing. Two remarkable success storys paid for by American citizens. He's a genius for sure.
As mentioned, several high profile republicans are critical of the deal. They are Republicans that normally support Trump. You know it's bad when they are willing to risk their career. Before you insult me or make political assumptions, I am a registered independent with moderate views, who used to identify more with republicans growing up. To anyone who can critically think with any measure of objectivity, this agreement with Iran is absolutely horrendous. If you review the main objectives for starting this war in the first place, we virtually accomplished nothing and at an enormous cost. It is a simple as that, despite what many on here will argue, this agreement is much weaker than JCPOA which was negotiated over many months during a previous administration and without a massive economic disruption. Iran had agreed in writing, they would neither develop or seek a nuclear weapon, this is a fact. Yes, the previous administration gave Iran 1.7 billion dollars as part of settlement for a previous treaty and yes the previous administration unfroze 100 billion dollars of Iranian assets. However, with the JCPOA, our side came away with tangible results(despite what Fox News will tell you). To be blunt, because of the terrible agreement, Iran as a regime is better off now than they were before we attacked them. They now have control of the strait of Hormuz, they will be able charge tolls, something they previously were not doing. Furthermore, they are now getting access to a $300 billion fund to repair the destruction we enacted upon them.
And Pedos in the boys and ladies room.If your a male, and you preferred Biden over Trump, you probably wanted Tampons in the boys room.
3. You, and the rest of us, are keyboard professors both unskilled and unknowledgeable in world politics and dynamics, PARTICULARLY the middle east. After reading the MOU (twice) a couple of thoughts.
1. If I was in a formal setting and submitting my synopsis for review there are some adjectives I would default to. Puzzling, questionable, suspect and dubious.
2. Informal. 2 words come to mind that best describes the document regarding US interests. Unmitigated Debacle.
Dude. We can read and comprehend. Doesn't take a professor to understand this MOU3. You, and the rest of us, are keyboard professors both unskilled and unknowledgeable in world politics and dynamics, PARTICULARLY the middle east.
I haven't read anything particularly damning on either side. Let it play out. Behind the scenes is not privy to us.
13 Americans lost their lives. For a worse deal? They now have control of the strait of Hormuz, they will be able charge tolls, something they previously were not doing. Furthermore, they are now getting access to a $300 billion fund to repair the destruction we enacted upon them.
It's not a win when 13 people gave their lives for nothing.![]()
You are taking great liberties in describing and assigning capabilities to people you do not know.3. You, and the rest of us, are keyboard professors both unskilled and unknowledgeable in world politics and dynamics, PARTICULARLY the middle east.

The opening of the Strait appeared to be the end game at the end of the conflict. At the beginning of the conflict, it was to knock out Iran'sIf the end game was the Strait, I could agree. Was that even the main reason for the conflict, or an afterthought though?

It has been conveyed today that the Strait will not open because Trump can't get Isreal to stop bombing Lebanon. If the end game was the Strait, I could agree. Was that even the main reason for the conflict, or an afterthought though?
The opening of the Strait appeared to be the end game at the end of the conflict. At the beginning of the conflict, it was to knock out Iran's
nuclear capabilities that Trump obliterated several months earlier.
Starting a war without a clear end game is the issue. We allowed history to repeat itself at our expense.
He obviously thinks we are all idiots. Does anyone believe this post outside the folks with DTV? Appears they don't have security at the reflecting pool.
You could very well be correct but it's hard to believe they have vandalism at the Lincoln memorial. There were officials spotted dumping hydrogen peroxide in the water a few days before the paint started peeling. Peroxide will peel paint from my understanding. Could they be the culprits?Like trump or get triggered at the mention of his name, would anyone really be surprised that vandalism took place?
I mean, they mowed 86 47 in the grass next door and haven't been able to catch whoever did it. So I dont think the security there is that good.

My issue with his assement of vandlaism is that Trump (examine his tweet) continually mentions "they" vandalized the reflecting pool.Like trump or get triggered at the mention of his name, would anyone really be surprised that vandalism took place?

I think he's referring to the grounds crew. He's really reaching here. They arrested a random person today. He'll do anything to save additional embarrassment. My issue with his assement of vandlaism is that Trump (examine his tweet) continually mentions "they" vandalized the reflecting pool.
Who exactly is "they" ?
And if your male and prefer Trump over Biden , your afraid your pedophile profile is out.If your a male, and you preferred Biden over Trump, you probably wanted Tampons in the boys room.

This is my point. UnknownI dont think thats much of a stretch. It obviously means people who hate him, occasionally try to kill him, erroneously call him a pedophile and a nazi.
Seriously, if we said a vague "they" about people assaulting ICE agents, no one would really blink, right?
I do get the idea of questioning "they". Its a joke my brother and I often make about the vague unknowable ""they" who famously make so many proclamations. But I also get using it for unknown individuals or the usual suspects.
Agreed. Falling on his sword just isn't in his DNA. His sheep take his lead. This is my point. Unknown
There has not been evidence presented by any organization to substantive such claims.
Why is it so hard for trump and his supporters to just admit a mistake was made, and that steps are being made to remedy the situation.
I was in the corporate business world for over 30 years. There were times that plans were put in place but did not reach desired results. We reassess, find what faults were made, then implement a new plan to remedy the situation. Move on.

I would be really upset if it were vandals who caused the algae or the failure of the blue coating in the Reflecting pool, regardless of politics, vandalism is not acceptable. You could very well be correct but it's hard to believe they have vandalism at the Lincoln memorial. Again, No one has been arrested for "tearing up the lining on purpose". The cyclist arrested, was on the side of the pool, midday, and reached out to touch the material that was floating on top to the water. Park Police have refused to release any details.I have said many times that its so much easier to just say "my bad" and move on. Its a lesson I learned later in life. It is not in Trump's DNA, as vienna said.
That being said, would it surprise you in the least if it was sabotaged, just like the grass next to it?
A definite tangent, but now there are people tearing up the lining on purpose and getting arrested. We have some true idiots that will vandalize national monuments because of who is in the oval office while the renovation takes place. THEY are nuts.![]()
what a ridiculous comment to make!If you're a male, and you preferred Biden over Trump, you probably wanted Tampons in the boys room.

Now, it defies all logical reasoning to assume a 67 year old, dismounts from his bike, reaches out from the side of the pool, and that constitutes tearing up the lining, to the degree that pictures have shown how widespread the damage has become.
One would need to possess on their person either chemicals or scraping tools to inflict that much damage. Hard to carry that around on a bike.
Bottom line, unless proven otherwise, it appears to be a job of very poor quality.
Own up, Man Up.
Regardless of the scarcity of cases, it is defying logic to think this is the main culprit of the pool debacle. It tooks as if the contractor sprayed an epoxy over the existing concrete. The article i read had the cyclist grabbing some pipe? Other (s) were arrested for tearing the lining.
Then I looked it up again now, he was accused of grabbing a hose that was being used to clean the pool, but he also says he "just wanted to touch" the lining that was peeling.
Regardless, his was not the only case I was referring to.

As having my inground pool resurfaced last year, I can attest that a new surface (pebbletex) was sprayed onto the retaining walls. You do not just spray over the existing surface.
However, I digress.
Attempting to blame this massive error on widespread vandalism, is nothing more than laughable.
