Weaker foot…he buries that on his right, but not enough power and right at the GK with his left.I still can not understand how Canada did not score at 15:30. A perfect crossing pass from the left side and what????
this had the potential to be much worse. The GK got to the ball first (just barely), so contact after that is a foul on the attacker. FWIW, I thought the attacker was offsides on the play, but they only showed 1 replay, very briefly, so I'd have to see it a few more times to decide.
Confirmed offsides, just now.Well, with that replay, guess he was about a foot off.
Thought it was incredibly tight. Would have been inches either way.
Dang, tied at 79’.Thirty minutes left. This would be a bad loss for Canada.

Trinidad and Tobago would be a more equitable matchup for Bosnia.Tough for Canada playing both Bosnia and Herzegovina.

Group B (Switzerland Qatar Canada Bosnia H) all tied up, two draws. Boy, what a kick in the nuts for Switzerland, crushing.
As the Brits would say, that game had a sting in the tailQatar draws even at 95’. I’m not sure what Switzerland could have done there. Just brilliantly set up and executed. I’m not happy but credit to Qatar.
Which thread does this go in?
Dang, that was just top notch.Goalllllllll! Morocco! Dang, what a beauty!
I heard on the telecast that Morocco has a lot of players who weren’t born in Morocco.Morocco very crisp and methodological. Brazil will have their chances. Rooting hard for Morocco. Fun fact: Morocco was the first nation to recognize the United States as a country. This isn’t why I’m rooting for Morocco, it’s just a fun fact.
Interesting. There’s also little St. Eustatius’ claim to fame:Morocco very crisp and methodological. Brazil will have their chances. Rooting hard for Morocco. Morocco made the semi finals in 2022. However, the fact that there really wasn’t a gap between Brazil and Morocco tells me more about Brazil than about Morocco.Brazil and Morocco a draw. Great match, really. Morocco had a great chance at the finish.
I was hazy about that part. Pro tip: don’t ever overestimate my knowledge of soccer.Morocco made the semi finals in 2022.
