Weaker foot…he buries that on his right, but not enough power and right at the GK with his left.
this had the potential to be much worse. The GK got to the ball first (just barely), so contact after that is a foul on the attacker. FWIW, I thought the attacker was offsides on the play, but they only showed 1 replay, very briefly, so I'd have to see it a few more times to decide.
Twice the ball has gone past the Bosina keeper and been saved at the line by a defender.
Trinidad and Tobago would be a more equitable matchup for Bosnia.
It might just be me but if the intention of the World Cup is to increase attention to soccer in the US does it make sense that they're playing at 9pm tonight, then 3pm and then 10pm? Maybe I'm just old but that seems like poor planning to me.
4 games on tap for Saturday. Sadly, I will miss all of them. Keep the dialogue going, guys. Here's hoping there are some good games, and/or some good goals, in the matches.
Qatar 0-1 Switzerland at the half. Penalty kick, I was cleaning and missed it all. Switzerland very creative in the box, playing really fine soccer, you think it will pay off.

Morocco very crisp and methodological. Brazil will have their chances. Rooting hard for Morocco. Fun fact: Morocco was the first nation to recognize the United States as a country. This isn’t why I’m rooting for Morocco, it’s just a fun fact.

Morocco made the semi finals in 2022. However, the fact that there really wasn’t a gap between Brazil and Morocco tells me more about Brazil than about Morocco.
I was hazy about that part. Pro tip: don’t ever overestimate my knowledge of soccer.
