This is another version of Stokes. Leverage UK to get the best offer and wait until the last minute to make a decision. Milan is forcing UL to come closer to UK’s #…and UL has done that.
Is this dude even good? I mean I get he's obviously a good ball player. But is he good enough to be having this kind of anticipation? Just seems extremely funny the hype people are conjuring up.

Very good player, think Koby Brea type impact (but will come in like Koby finished his career… not exactly similar in style of course). But no, he is not as good as folks on here are making him out to be. Of course he’s not the difference in whether we’re a final 4 contender or not. That’s utter nonsense. He doesn’t automatically make us a good defensive or rebounding team. We would still have major, major question marks. Compare our roster with Mom to teams like UF, Duke or UConn, and there is a big drop in talent/depth. He just happens to be the last of the better portal players available. A lot of fans on here are 13 year olds or very immature and will make him into Michael Jordan (the ones that post messages followed by !!! and evaluate based on YouTube clips). Having said that, he’s significant and a must have at this late stage IMO. I do think he pushes us into the top 25.

Can someone explain why some people think what I posted is negative or “trolling”. I care about this program and feel like these recruits using our rivals to milk us for more money is not worthy of our brand and history as college basketball royalty. That is clearly what is happening in my opinion. Very calculated. Even if it is his agents doing it, he is aware of it. You can disagree but a difference of opinion doesn’t make me a “troll”. We have the highest offer. Commit or move on Milan.

He's also going to go higher in the draft than Mon. Using the portal for more money is something everyone apparently does, but Moreno didn't.

I warned that Stokes had plenty of time to commit if he intended to. That's why I knew we weren't getting him. This situation isn't to that point yet, but id wager Tuesday is it: either we have him or we aren't getting him.
I think he is better than Novak, but stats do tell a tale. I still remember Larry Birds CAREER statline, which I think would shock kids who have never seen him play. 30/13/5/2.5. Insanity. Still say he is the best SF ever. I know there is another guy who is more physically gifted, but you let a prime Bird go up against a prime LBJ and Birds team will win the series more often than not
Agree! Larry legend was so multi dimensional. And in his prime before the back issues there is only a handful of players I would take over him

That’s basically what it is. We all know if Calipari was here nobody would be worried about any recruitment and that is the truth. Cal had many issues later in his tenure, but recruiting wasn’t one of them generally if it was a guy who wanted to be here especially.
I have zero Milan fatigue. Kid has done nothing wrong and moved through his recruitment quickly.
Pope needs to close this today and I’m still optimistic he will. This is, make no mistake, the most crucial recruit in Pope’s career and he absolutely cannot afford to miss. Thankfully, I think he lands the plane.

I can’t get with the “aww man, we might win too much to get rid of the coach” stuff. I’m weirdly protective about that idea. A true fan should always want more wins IMO no matter what. The coaching/administration stuff will take care of itself over time.

The two recruitments bear very little resemblance to one another.
Here are my thoughts, if that scenairio plays out. Even if that happens, I hope he gets sent to the unemployment line if he has not signed two or three 5 star highschool recruits. This would be 3 years in a row showing the world that elite highschool players don't want to play for him.
