nope. You seem like you can be reasonable. I don't like to put anyone on ignore as I'm interested in how others see the issues. I might not agree on some, and on others I will. But I come from the camp that everyone sees things differently and every once in awhile somebody might have a thought that is better than mine.

I hope I won't get caught up in the "I banged your mother" or some of the other 8th grade "Butt wiping" discussion. there just not my thing. In one of our first back and forths you advised that everyone that came from HORT was just enthusiastic about new board and things will settle in. I hope so.

But I am interested in how others view things like taxes, immigration, healthcare and other issues facing the country. I've been a little disappointed that in the time the Iowa/FSU folks have been over here, no one has brought up any of these topics. Those were prevalent before. But maybe they'll come later
Well, the migration has continued. I think the first 20 or so of us that arrived are mostly pretty reasonable. As you can see, the far ends of the political spectrum have now arrived. I would wager 100+ with both Iowa and FSU. The resulting fireworks are not really my thing. I am more interested in threads about grilling/cooking, travel, etc., but every now and then I will wade into a political topic. @Aardvark86 had some awesome advice for me a couple of years ago when we were planning our trip to Italy and more specifically the Amalfi Coast.

Nothing like coming to the Clemson board and putting the racist turds like this guy on ignore. LOL.
I don't remember anyone sending you an invitation. You folks just showed like stink does on **** acting like you own the place. Hopefully, you know the old saying, don't let the door hit you where the good LORD split ya.

Ya know, even if you can show uninvited, it boggles the mind a bit that one does not even pretend to act like a guest for at least a little bit.

It was amazing. We did Rome, Florence, and the Amalfi Coast. We stayed near Maori but spent a day in Positano. I would rank order our experiences as follows:
  • Colosseum
  • Vatican Museum
  • Pompeii
  • David and the museum
  • Cooking classes in a villa on the outskirts of Florence
  • Piazza della Signoria
  • Positano
  • St. Peter's Basillica
  • Capri
  • And I know this seems crazy to some putting it last, but the Sistine Chapel. Didn't really do anything for me.

Yeah there is something strange about the light and scale of the Sistine, so I get it. I’d take the st Chappell in Paris any day and twice on Sunday. The coliseum is sort of shocking at how similar it is to modern stadia.

along the coast, did you pick up any colatura d’alici? I was just telling our local purveyor about the product last week to see if he could stock a couple bottles.

the best thing about Italy is how the architecture reflects the political history of the place.
-Rome, imperial in scale and grandeur
-Montalcino area, you see the physical manifestation of a city state
-Venice, square, egalitarian buildings of a commercial republic
-amalfi, constant defense against pirates, and I loved how each and every town had its own unique Marian story

You want to see embarrassing behavior from Iowa, just go to one of their wrestling matches....
Id be embarrassed to go to a wrestling match. Watching a bunch of dudes grab each other's dicks and sticking fingers in asses. No thanks. I've never meet a wrestler that didnt belong on a sex offender registry.

I told my wife about it, and she thought she thought she would surprise me picking up a bottle in a shop in Capri. But, she ended up buying the wrong thing. Thought that counts. Here is a panoramic shot I took in Positano - if you click it it blows up. Like a post card.

Here is where we took the cooking classes outside of Florence. Like a post card.

And we were all getting along so well. Ped State fans hold zero moral superiority over anyone. Nice garbage university you support.

**** Ped Sate.

Keep it classy. Notice I didn't say anything about your university. The only people I commented on are the ones that actually mocked injured players.

You, on the other hand decided to act like a complete arse. I definitely hold moral superiority over you. You're trash. To act like this over college allegiance. Trash.

I don't think any coach would mock someone if he knew they were actually injured. It could have been a bit like the boy crying wolf, with there eventually being a wolf. Then again, maybe a nerve got rubbed raw by MSU over the years and fans/coaches lumped PSU in with those guys.

Yeah, except fans did it. And at least one coach did it.

There was ... and still is ... absolutely no proof anything underhanded was going on ... so, as a coach, your first instinct should NEVER be to mock another player ... especially over an injury. An injury that turned out to be serious. It just wouldn't enter the mind of a normal human. Heck, even if you suspected, but didn't know, there were shenanigans, a coach should never do that. The default isn't "OK to mock, unless you know he's injured."

Drunken fans? They're going to be awful. They think paying for a ticket means they can act like idiots. Whatever. I would still hold them responsible for their actions, but at least it's kind of a settled thing that you're going to have awful fans. But a coach doing that? Awful. And people supporting or rationalizing away those actions? Awful.

Seems like it left an awfully deep wound in your psyche.

Was this the game where the crowd noise caused like 5 or 6 false starts? If so the crowd was loud as I’ve heard it.

Somebody took you to a gay sex club and told you it was a rasslin match. It's OK ... don't feel ashamed. Did it move?
