Thinking about it '69 or '70 would be correct. Played on the bill with Chicago Transit Authority which was later shortened to Chicago. The Guess Who played at Veterans Stadium after a Phillies game in the 1970's.

I've seen The Musical Box a bunch of times. It's a great recreation of Peter Gabriel Genesis. Recently they've added early Phil Collins stuff to the shows.Seen a few times..Keswick years ago and just this past Oct. at the Scottish Rite. I can't stand his solo stuff but I'd go again just to see the 2nd act of Genesis material. BTW, I saw something yesterday on my Facebook feed that he is planning to tour with a new band line-up. I would assume he isn't changing that keyboard player and lead singer. Or the Brass . He usually just changes the drummer and bass.
If you're a Pre- "And then there were three" fan like me you need to go see The Musical Box. They replicate the shows with the lead dressing and talking like Peter. IIRC they even purchased the light show from the Lamb Tour.
April 9- for metal heads/ stoner rock fans---Clutch and Corrosion of Conformity are at Starland Ballroom. COC is touring with Galactic's drummer, Stanton Moore. Stanton is a fantastic drummer, who did the drums on COC's In the Arms of God, and on their upcoming double album. Not everyone's cup of tea, but solid musicians.

Those two songs are bangers, for sure, and they were recorded with the one-off singer Karl Agell in 1991. Pepper Keenan sings lead vocals now. That song Vote With a Bullet was more about disenfranchisement generally, and Pepper venting over a recent serious injury. “My body was broken and I owed all this money to hospitals – hundreds of thousands of dollars when I was basically sleeping on somebody’s dining room table in a sleeping bag. It’s a battle cry for the disenfranchised youth who were sick of the system. The man in the ivory tower wasn’t working for us.”Clutch is a good band. COC had a couple of songs I liked; Voting With A Bullet and Dance of the Dead.
Concert ticket prices SKYROCKETED following the stupid shutdown. We paid $250 for corner 200-level seats to see Duran Duran at MSG so $300 to see AC/DC - even in the upper deck - isn't surprising at all when you take into consideration how few shows they're playing in The States.$300 for AC/DC in Houston for upper deck football stadium tickets. That's a bit ridiculous. Fifteen years ago, I paid $25 to stand 10 feet from the center of the stage to see Springsteen.
I’ve seen him three times in recent years. He was GREAT at Carnegie Hall. One of the best shows I’ve ever seen. Very good at the State Theater. Disappointing, low energy at the Beacon Theater. Age and chain smoking were taking a toll.I saw that. I haven’t seen him in concert before and want to. Hopefully he’ll make to the end of July.
