If ICE agents have actual warrants from actual judges, if ICE agents aren't barging into homes, if ICE agents aren't racially profiling and stopping anyone and everyone they see, if ICE agents aren't stalking the streets in masks with guns drawn, and if ICE agents are ACTUALLY going after undocumented individuals with criminal records, the left will not push back nearly as much.

Hopefully with Bovino getting fired and Miller muzzled some, it will happen as it always should've, and not in this authoritatrian, draconian way.
They also need to remove the absurd quota that incentivizes the violation of civil rights.

@Aardvark86 can RICO be used on these protesters if the following is proven?

My feels or lack thereof!

I am a free speech guy. But I am done with Waltz. Now find the crime and take him down.

Invoking Anne Frank is over the line for me. This does not "deescalate" Waltz et. al. need to bring it down, NOT Trump.

What I expect out of Dem leaders?

You state that you oppose Trumps policy. Tell protesters to be peaceful, stay out of the way or get arrested by local LE. Or better yet go home, write your congressman and show up on election day.

Anything less is inappropriate behavior for an elected official.

We talking about the guy that lived in that same neighborhood? I know if I'm looking to press RICO charges, I go to right-wing influencers on youtube to make my case.

Right after the office yells gun the shot happens. I dont see the gun in eithers hands they are still struggling. SIG320's have a history of misfires. Thats why you dont chamber a round in them. Also i would carry different depending on the situation. Am I deployed or here at home in public. I myself always have the safety on here at home or off if Im on patrol and we are out of the wire. Tells you I dont own a glock or SIG :)...
Ok so a potential random discharge from a gun with a history of reported issues. I understand where you aree coming from now. Doesn't chang my general opinion on manual external safeties on pistols but i now understand your comment.

If you are talking specifically with sig 320s then i'd say that i wouldn't carry one period. Nor any gun with a reported hiistory of malfunctions.

Edit: my opinions on carrying pistols and safety/not safety are my own opions. Opinions that I was trained d to have in the miliitary and practiced in uniform and in civilian clothes while working for the USG. I agree with them still.

nothing wrong with your analysis, I just used minigun at 4000rpm...much easier.

the only thing I might point out, Mr pretti was not supposedly looking for a fight. I don't think he anticipated the need for a quick draw and shoot scenario. That's why I don't buy the "he was going to massacre" Ice agents. He had the chance when they were all just walking up the street. I don't know why he wouldn't have safety on
Ned.. Door gunner?, or spooky/spectre crewman?

Safety on/not on is a non issue. Dummy wasn't intending to massacre LEOs, IMO.

Don't tell me Trump lost this battle. Three weeks ago Walz was declaring war on the federal government and calling ICE gestapo, now he's promising to work with ICE if Trump makes a deal.

That's not losing, guys.

Sure, we took some punches too in this battle. Deportations can be ugly. It's necessary but not always pretty.

People don't like to see how the sausage is made.

But, we absolutely won this battle.

My opinion is that with a calming down both ICE and the "mob" win. Before both were losing - if you consider 2 deaths as losses

We're critiquing @fatpiggy specifically for saying that the administration shouldn't let up and shouldn't let the mob win and then acting like this is in no way that.

I agree that if enforcement becomes more humane and the protestors less angry that it's a win.

Make sure you appease those petulant protesters who lost the vote.

Sounds like the law wins to me. I just saw videos of Minneapolis police cooperating with ICE. The protesters now understand federal supremacy. They also understand enforcement operations will continue. If they interfere and things go wonky, death is a possible outcome one. Best to let the officers do their work.

we want peaceful enforcement but are going to make databases to track your agents, blow whistles following them around, deny them service, physically assault them, verbally assault them, bring our loaded weapons around them. We want peaceful enforcement!!! What a croc of sh it.

just a thought..but I have heard Walz and frey talk about looking out for our neighbors, but I might have missed them speaking of peaceful enforcement. In fact their comments come across, to me at least, as looking the other way as protesters take over parts of the city, accost ICE agents etc.

Now, admittedly I haven't seen everything that Walz and frey have said, so maybe they've been encouraging peaceful reinforcement and I've missed it.

We'll see with the seeming calming whether or not peaceful enforcement is what happens. I hope so

Both of those ***** seem very slimy. I’ll be surprised if they continue to bend the knee (for Trump anyway)😉

People try to use rico for a lot of things, usually unsuccessfully. You could certainly make a case for an “enterprise” assuming the veracity of the materials. But I’m not sure I see the requisite (or at least the typical) predicate acts, though I don’t know the full list.

While as I suggest above I’ve not heard a basis for someone to be shot dead here, I do think we need to fundamentally “rebase” our collective understanding of just what “peaceful protest” is. While I certainly agree that LEOs should be held to a higher standard, the content, and context, of way too many protests these days would fall clearly within what would have been recognized (legally) as "fighting words" once upon a time. Otherwise, outcomes like this will be too predictable, and if we’re not careful, could even become normalized

You think? What does Trump have to gain from all of this ?
deportation of illegal migrants..he campaigned on it...."peaceful enforcement" (to steal a phrase used here)trump is losing the PR battle in Mn. With peaceful enforcement the actions there support what the American people support. Most of us are not in favor of what we see happening there. Now I recognize that ICE is not the only group at fault, but most Americans don't.

I have zero facts to back up my last point. It's only as I see it as an average american

Yeah, those whiny babies who expect the federal government to abide by that pesky constitution and the various oaths they swore. Screw those people with their expectations.
