Iowa St at Cincinnati

[RoseBowlorBust]

This is glorious!!!

[RoseBowlorBust]

Ok ISU scores but just keep doing what you are doing on O, Cincy

[RoseBowlorBust]

That was easy 24-7 Cincy

[hawkandroll]

Wow .Another example of other teams just making offense look easy.

[Jonesy5960]

That vaunted ISU D getting absolutely shredded.

[BubsFinn]

I almost forgot what exciting college football looked like.

[RoseBowlorBust]

Cincy should have beat Nebraska

[QChawks]

jealous of Cincy offense

[RoseBowlorBust]

Oh man Rocco got smoked

[BubsFinn]

That's gonna cost the Bearcats. Facemask and targeting. Hope Becht is okay.

Yep, that's targeting. He gone.

[hawkandroll]

Targeting? Please

Update: i guess so. Becht tucking his chin made it way worse

[RagnarLothbrok]

After watching Iowa State and KSU, I had a suspicion Iowa State’s defense was not going to be good this year. After watching Iowa’s offense sputter against that defense, I knew it was likely going to be a long season.

Agree he was a runner don't agree

[Jonesy5960]

Agree he was a runner don't agree

It was the very definition of targeting with the crown of the helmet.

I should have looked closer at replay then I don't care either way

Agree, although as Gronowski improved the offense had improved. They've gone from god awful to just inadequate.

[QChawks]

It’s still pathetic we lost to the clowns

[gojojo]

The Big 8 does not deserve an automatic spot in the playoff. A middle of the pack B1G team could win that conference.

[WeBeHerkin]

Agree he was a runner don't agree

You can’t hit helmet to helmet. That’s what happened. Defender lowered his helmet and runner did not. You couldn’t do that to a running back either. Will get tossed.

[RoseBowlorBust]

Agree but last year at home was worse as was 2022 at home

[Jonesy5960]

300 yards total offense in the first half. Iowa rolled up all of 214 for the game.

[paednoch23]

Their linebackers are getting smoked. They are too big and slow. They are better than our linebackers though. I mentioned in the KSau game that their linebackers looked like they had concrete shoes.

That’s (Iowa) football

Because we could not throw. Teed up to stop run

[Anon1750875978]

Just goes to show what can happen when you can recruit speed...either side of the ball.

Iowa is nearly always the slower of two teams on the field.

We are a women’s basketball and wrestling school

[RoseBowlorBust]

31-7, JFC

[MacMiney]

I just noticed the score.

All I gotta say is..

HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHHAHHHAAAAAAAAAHAHAHAHHAHA!!!!!!!

[r_desihawk]

31-7, JFC

so ne is no joke

[Blue113]

When Iowa's head coach wants to keep every game close, that's football happens. Especially on the road.

[glathar15]

jealous of Cincy offense

They threw for less than 70 yards against Nebraska

[RoseBowlorBust]

Hats off to ISU getting a td before half. Rocco is one helleva competitor.

[paednoch23]

Clowns will get a TD here and then get the ball in the 3rd. This game ain't over. Unless the clowns cant figure out how to stop Cincy offense.

[MAKhawks]

Imagine getting every call and still being down 17 points.

Especially when you keep getting GIFT penalties.

Cincinnati getting hosed

[RO Hawk44]

Why wasn't that pass interference half the distance to the goal line. If it happened in the endzone should it be closer than the four yard line?

Wetjen? Seth Anderson?

Big 12 trying to drag Iowa State through this week. Reminds me of some of the Miami games last year.

[LetsGoHawks83]

How many plays in the 2nd half will clown offensive players duck their heads down, cause helmet-to-helmet and cry for targeting?

[MAKhawks]

The Big 12’s playoff chances are dwindling each week.
