I really expect Javin to excel in the open court with Trevon at the point, with or without Marvin this Duke squad is a very talented bunch. The question will be can they defend for 40 mins?

Grayson's leadership will be very important on defense. I feel like the trio of Carter/Duval/Trent will flex proudly on defense. It's the Bolden/Javin/Bagley position that is a huge question mark. I'd love to see 100% focus on defending this year. Guys like Alex O and Vrank might steal some minutes by flying around the court with the right body language. The offense is simple: hand the ball to Tricky Tre and everyone else cut to open spots on the court. Shoot if you're open.

Nope not at all, I hope he stays because as a senior he could be a key contributor. His point of view: I don't have to be psychic to know eventually he'll want PT
Still, you are making the case for who might transfer if Bagley enrolls this year, and you're doing so in response to a post mocking people who do exactly that.

I have a gutt feeling he will reclassify, he will be eligible to enroll and start classes in August. Now as far as where... I do remember reading a while back that Bagley wanted to play with an elite PG and and true bigs which would allow him to roam inside and out which Duke, USC and Arizona all have.

I wouldn't think a ton, it's only two exhibition games and a few practices in July and august. Nothing is going to be set in stone bc of this trip, although he can join us just not play which helps in the bonding aspect.

Any idea if the games will be televised like last time?

Im pretty sure I read on here and other places as well that Duke was helping him through the reclassification process. If what I read was correct, then I would be almost certain he would choose Duke.

Unless I'm totally missing something, we just have to wait and see what happens with the NCAA and him being qualified. This isn't a normal recruitment, no games, no posturing. He's taking all his visits in a week and a half time span and whenever the NCAA clears him to play (or not) a decision will be made. To this point if he's cleared and doesn't come to Duke, well color me stunned.

If everyone is so certain its Duke, then where those certain Knox to Duke as well...
I can't speak for others but I was never certain of Knox to Duke. I will say I was surprised he picked UK. It felt like a Duke unc recruitment especially since both had a spot at his position open.

Regardless, this isn't a normal circumstance. Things have to move quick here, not only is there no time for drama and games, I don't think he particularly cares, I think he simply wants to get to the league as soon as possible and this is the way to do it.

Jmo but it seems that it would be hard for him to make up any classes he is missing while he has been traveling to the summer AAU events

I think this is a true wait and see. He has time to get things in order, it just seems there may be too many holes to fill. It may even be a join by December type of thing but for who, who knows. A lot of moving parts with this one.

Hey you guys, I posted earlier in your conversation, was treated pretty cool. I stated at the time I was a BIG KU fan but love College basketball, and at the time was putting my 2 cents in about some delusional few KU fans trying to make a connection with Whitman leaving our program so Bagley could commit lol, sorry guys some of our fans have been hitting the pipe a little to long. But anyways that is neither here or there I was on the holier then thou Kentucky board and some were talking of Bagley there and some mention was made of Ku and then the SMACK got started about KU like always with these idiots - - -So I in turn had to defend my school and what do you know? - - - lmao guess what I got banned from the Kentucky board - - what a surprise lol, must of stepped on some blue grass cousin runnin toes - -lol.- -Anyways the time frame doesn't matter I still feel whenever it is Bagley has Duke written all over him, hell of a player, good luck. Hoping to see another great matchup between Duke and Ku somewhere possibly this year always love them they are usually classics. Good luck guys

So even though myself and others feel that KU has A SHOT and still openly acknowledge that Duke is the favorite going away to land Bagley, I am not a 'real, rational or sensible KU fan??!,? You said the exact same thing in all of your posts.
You really strike me as a person starving for attention.

I'll keep you in my prayers.

Maybe two of us should go to the KU board and start arguing with each other. That seems to be the new thing. I saw a lmao. Could he be back? :) Getting back on topic Bagley this year or next would be awesome. If nothing else it's been something to discuss in the slooooow summer months.

Even though Bagley still has 2 more visits to go on, I'd assume the longer this drags on without any real news, the less likely it is that we get him/ he reclassifies.

If he indeed does reclassify and we land him..would that be Chase Jeters biggest contribution to the program?? Not only did he open up a scholarship for us, but he also took Arizona's last one away.

Without doing the math I think we had plenty of numbers either way but certainly him taking their last one is great for us. Also quite ironic if he doesn't reclass and then chooses zona...

Not sure if this is relivant to the Bagley topic, but,

The NCAA Eligibility Center places their criteria for college enrollment on 16 college prep core courses and the ACT or SAT qualifying score. Not a HS diploma.

So without directly giving out information on any HS player(s), since Bagley still needs to complete classes to be clear academically to participate at the NCAA D1 level this coming Fall, the classes need to be completed and accepted by the first day of the Fall semester to get into college. Then he needs to get into classes (minimum of 12 credit hours 1st semester) at that college to be able to play a Winter Sport (Basketball)

He is taking online classes which have to be pre approved by the NCAA as acceptable, but he can go at his own rate to complete each class. Thus it is possible (not probable or likely) that he could complete 4 classes prior to college classes starting. In addition, if he took (and he might be doing) 1-2 summer school classes at a JC or HS then he could complete as many as 5-6 classes prior to Fall classes beginning.

Now that all sounds good, but in all reality how could he do that with all his travel and such this summer with the amount of basketball he was playing.

I'm certain (And I have great info/resources on this) that all the colleges guiding him to reclassify are closely monitoring. That is why a source close to Duke might have said it might not be possible for the Fall.

Watch out January....
