TU - 45
FAU - 31

Defense gets a few stops and forces two turnovers. Also think the offense scores at least 1 TD on a play over 50 yards

Someone from TU's ticket office says they've sold 7500 tickets in addition to the season ticket base which has been around 18k for as long as I can remember. So possibility of 25k+ fans at the game Saturday. Not a bad start against a meh opponent.

U got there b4 I did on my prediction, TU_Bla.(With 7 of FA(p)U's points being garbage
points, long after it was decided, with our second team defense in the game.)
45-17 TU.

not trying to downplay it, but a very large portion was purchased for St. Johns employees. hopefully all those that got tickets will show.

You skeered?

I'm excited... but I'm taking it with a grain of salt that our guys are learning new systems still. After all the embarrassing beat downs laid on us in the last two years (Bowling Green, FAU, CSU, Rice, USF) I just want to remain reasonable so I don't get my hopes up too much too soon. Damn you Bill Blankenship!

TU 41 FAU 26 Tulsa will score without too much problem. But I also don't think TU will stop FAU much either. Will get a couple of stops but shut them down no. This game could turn into a track meet, up and down the field. Tulsa's defense lacks both the experience and depth to shut other offenses down as yet. Defense is a project for a while yet. Tulsa will have to live of its Offensive production just like in the early Coach Graham days. That doesn't mean this team can't get better, it will. I can see it getting much better on both sides of the ball down the near future road.

I like Bla's score: 45-17. TU will score almost at will while the Defense will be better than most expect. TU Football: 1st,last,always!

FIU beat UCF tonight in Orlando and FAU is in much better shape as a program than FIU.

TU 42
FAU 38.

Flip the score if it was being played in Boca.

UCF couldn't move the ball against FIU. I don't think that is going to be our problem against FAU on Saturday. Not having watched the game but only looking at stats, UCF had NO running game. Stanback who is supposed to be their monster back had more carries than yards. QB put up 250 but it was almost all to 2 targets. You get that 1 dimensional and you make things easy on the defense. When I saw the score I instantly thought that UCF probably played carelessly and turned the ball over too many times. UCF had ZERO turnovers. FIU blocked a late field goal. FAU's defense isn't that good...we need to just be a tiny bit better on that side and let the offense do their thing...we'll be fine.
