Can anyone recommend a good chocolate protein drink that actually tastes like chocolate? Nutrisystem has a great one but is shall we say pricey
You left out a banana, That’s a must. Also like the coconut milk as opposed to almond or cowMake them with protein powder, taste better and more grams of protein.
Milk, frozen fruit, spinach leaves, scoop of plain yogurt, scoop of peanut butter. Key is to blend and add protein powder while blending. Ready made always has a chalk after taste.
When buying powder buy most grams per 1 scoop you don’t want filler.
+1. Not bad.Costco sells one, Premier Protein, at a pretty fair price. Typically they run a sale on them for maybe $6 off a case once or twice a year too, if you like to stock up.
For me it’s a meal replacement. I will drink one in the car on the way to the course if I have an early tee time.Just curious. What’s the point of drinking a protein drink? Is it a meal replacement or meant for pre/post workout?
Same for me but I was already 135 freshman year and my baseball coach wanted me at 170. I think I got to 167 for my senior year. Was 6’2” though. When I was 5’10” and 110 lbs my mom made me a nightly shake of milk, nutrament, banana and ice cream. 3 yrs later I was 6’ and 135.
Not a fan of chocolate drinks but this one is pretty good. I get the 42 gram of protein one but in strawberry
It can be either. I started carb cycling and it's great to drink in between meals to get the amount of proteins I need per day while staying under 50g of carbs daily. It's also good after a workout when your body is craving calories.Just curious. What’s the point of drinking a protein drink? Is it a meal replacement or meant for pre/post workout?
I had 2 growth spurts. One for height and one for weight.Same for me but I was already 135 freshman year and my baseball coach wanted me at 170. I think I got to 167 for my senior year. Was 6’2” though.
Some MDs recommend people older than 50 consume 1 gram of protein for each pound of body mass to help maintain muscle mass as we age coupled with resistance training to counteract sacropenia. The recommendations by the FDA under the standard American diet are woefully inadequate. The crap Myplate recommendations by the FDA will not provide sufficient protein to meet higher protein goal.Just curious. What’s the point of drinking a protein drink? Y
Mee Hee for Yoo-hoo a Fudge Bar Too Hoo. Boy do I remember those commercials . How I long for those hot , humid days of summer.CLASSIC.
What does the app recommend for protein intake? I see that app has been sold at least twice (Under Armour recently sold it).I started using protein shakes after I realized that I wasn’t eating nearly enough protein after tracking it for two or three weeks…. to do that, I used the free version of the MyFitnessPal app which recommended a protein intake on a daily basis.
The protein powder I recommended above is very clean in terms of ingredients. I have a non-dairy protein mix that I also use from time to time from Amazing Grass.
