Youve never been a competitor bac, you wouldnt be able to relate sir

bro. Stop. When have to ever seen a coach try to punch, slap, face palm another coach? All of these guys are competitors and don’t try to hit other coaches .

A lot of people deserve a lot of things but that doesn’t mean the head basketball coach should be hitting people. It is silly to argue otherwise.

I love how he can be a jackass against us with a BS timeout and crap foul and Gard calls a timeout and he doesn't appreciate it and punches a coach. He does not belong in NCAA send him back to NBA. He should be fired.....This is not the first time....there is a pattern.
Honest Gard was basically given Howard the same BS we saw last year….. Howard talked a lot smack and did things during and after games to piss and fuxk with other teams… Now he is getting a little bit of that back and he doesn’t like it.

Classic dish it but can’t take it… Asshat

Gard was trying to force Juwan Howard to shake his hand Juwan wanted no part in shaking Gard's hand with the Chuckle Hepburn 3, celebration, and Timeout extending the lead from 16 to 19. He reacted accordingly until the open hand swipe.

In 2022? People will act like this is the equivalent of a murder being shown on national tv. In the 90’s this is your average tuesday.
1) it was a slap
2) its damnnnnn refreshing to see that not every basketball player/program is full of a soft culture where you wanna be best friends with your opponents.

This was nothing. Not one person ever landed a punch haha

Unfortunately individuals with this type of mentality and opinion are doing it to boost their own self-worth and ego, most likely subconsciously. I truly feel sorry for kyk.. he's an Archie Bunker relic that is self-righteous and reductive, probably convinced of his own superiority. Those neural pathways don't change unfortunately

You want your players to be focused, locked in, and composed.... yet you are out there getting ridiculous technicals disrespecting refs and brain dead walking onto the court picking up a live basketball like it's practice?

Howard gets Michigan and Phil Martelli lands all these studs but they still don't live up to the hype bc hes a clown 🤡
Said this the other game against Iowa but this just goes even further.

How do you expect your players to be locked in, focused, and composed when this is the example you repeatedly set for them?

Howard is not a good leader of young men.

Bingo. Diabate threw punches and will be disciplined by either Michigan or the league. He was the lunatic who had to be restrained by a few of his own players at the end of our game against them earlier this season. Definite anger issues, just like his coach.
Let's hope he's not disciplined by Michigan. He'll sit the bench until the first media timeout.

Imagine if he did this at the RAC? He’d end up tossing fans like they were Don Zimmer

Watch literally the video you posted.
1) Juwan doesnt wanna shake gards hand and tries to walk past him. Gard grabs he left arm and forces him back.
2) after that juwan likely tells gard to not touch him, at which time gard still gets verbally aggressive. Juwan doesnt play that BS so then points in his face and tells him what a chump he is
3) wisconsins big assistant comes in tells juwan “get the **** outta here” proceeds to then put hands on TWO michigan players. Juwan responds with a simple slap.

i’ll trust me eyes here, you can trust your narrative

I have to say I am looking forward to hearing what Gard said to Howard in the line. Definitely heated from the get go. But Howard is clearly feeling the pressure of being a head coach and how to manage oneself as the head honcho of a school with expectations as high as Michigan's. It's different being a coach than it is a player, as the example has to be set by the leader. Howard's behavior is significant, as is any head coach's, especially since Diabate seems to be studying his coach's hand-throwing tactics quite closely.

Aside from the obvious thuggery of it, Howard is a complete moron.

First, he’s a leader of young men. This is not what coaches should be teaching their players.

Second, he’s putting his team at a disadvantage. They are a bubble team and need as many wins as they can find down the stretch. Now they’ll be dealing with a major distraction, not to mention whatever suspensions (players and coach) come out of this. Just plan stupid, all because he can’t control his emotions.

Several players should also go as several Michigan players also threw punches. Remember our game where one of their guys wanted to fight one of our guys in the hand shake line. Real nice sportsmanship!!!! Also remember Howard went after Turgeon last year. I thing he has quite a temper. That is not needed in college basketball. I am so glad Steve is our coach.
Same guy as in our game threw punches
Howard refused to shake Gards hand
