Football LIVE GAME THREAD: Rutgers vs. Maryland

[MadRU]

Guess we woke them up

[RUScrew85]

Aw crap.

[sct1111]

What a wild ride this game is

[Rufan922]

Aaaannnndd that’s the game folks

[RUboston]

And we're off! We had our brief moment of hope.

[BIGRUBIGDBIGredmachine]

MD #83 was holding--grabbed jersey-- on our DB on the TD run for the record

[Barnaby&Neill]

Dumb, dumb, dumb call to go for it on your own 45 down seven.

Now we’ll never win the natty

[RUScrew85]

Dumb, dumb, dumb call to go for it on your own 45 down seven.

In a normal game sure. But for a team in our situation, with Nunzio's first game, make a statement for his players he's all in and go for it. Why not.

[Rufaninga]

I would rather watch us aypl aggressively, than be conservative and get walked all over.

[ScarletDave]

This ref crew killed us all through the big east days followed us to the AAC and now killing us in the B1G.

[BillyC80]

No problem with us going for it on 4th down. Langan needed to keep it though.

[BIGRUBIGDBIGredmachine]

Langan is an awful passer

yeah.. we should start cheating too.. refs just don't care.. didn't even whistle that blocked XP dead.. if the tipped ball passes the LOS it is dead.

[RUScrew85]

Can Ash come back as Defensive Coordinator?

Your avatar needs some work. No?

[Knightmoves]

Langan is an awful passer

He throws a floater ball.

Now throws into double coverage for an INT.

[NickRU714]

Exactly!

When you have the less talented team you need to take more risk - not less.

[bossnj1]

Seymour is an embarrassment.

[BIGRUBIGDBIGredmachine]

And there you go again---hands to the face on our QB by the MD DT. No call. #Shocker

[ScarletteK80]

Sad, just sad. So wanted this game to be a W.

[Rufaninga]

isaiah on tbe tackle after being blocked early

[cohwx]

wheels coming off now. was fun for a while.

[redking]

Your avatar needs some work. No?

He’s looking for a job. That’s what you meant, right?

[RUScrew85]

His arm was hit on that INT.

But he does not seem to have a strong arm.

[bossnj1]

He has been so bad for us for too long. Put someone, anyone else in there.

[GoodOl'Rutgers]

laters folks.. not worth watching

[brgRC90]

It's going to take more than a change in HC to turn this team around.

[King of S]

Terrible! Next coach please.

[thomasfoolery]

Yeah like Schiano’s going to want to come anywhere near this...

[zappaa]

God Bless Langan, but his arm is the worst I’ve ever seen at this level.
Not unusual he’s on our team

[RUScrew85]

I would rather watch us aypl aggressively, than be conservative and get walked all over.

Busting out the Igpay Atinlay?

[King of S]

We need to sign Nunzo to a 4 year deal at half time

Say again?

[Knightmoves]

Down 27-7 we want to run the ball?

[ScarletDave]

Having Seymour in there is like having 4 o lineman. Tom Brady couldn’t throw for 100 yards with this line and these receiversp

[BIGRUBIGDBIGredmachine]

yeah.. we should start cheating too.. refs just don't care.. didn't even whistle that blocked XP dead.. if the tipped ball passes the LOS it is dead.

No doubt. As an aside I was focusing on Jonah Jackson in the OSU game last week and he has mastered the B1G holding under the shoulder pads/armpits technique. I'd have our OL do it every play.

[Knightmoves]

Can Terps punch in one more TD before halftime?

[leftoright]

How ****** is it to see Blackshear with a big C on his uni, to be sitting on the bench. He and shitkowkski should be back in the dorm studying humility.

[RUScrew85]

Down 27-7 we want to run the ball?

I don't think there is much confidence in our third QB's arm right now.

Shorten the game. Have some fun.

[King of S]

You’re either in or out, no in between.

Or packing. I assume they're in the football dorm. Pack up and welcome to Cook Campus.

[ScottRU93]

Stop. We have nothing to lose. We stink.
