Football LIVE GAME THREAD: Rutgers vs. Maryland

[FrankZ_RU93]

Way to go Langan!

[GoodOl'Rutgers]

OMG.. dbl-reverse pass?!!!

[ScarletteK80]

NICE, NICE, TD!! Great job.

[angmo]

Nice!

[RUScrew85]

Already Nunzio is a better coach than Ash.

[R U Crazy]

Next series watch for the Ol' Statue of Liberty Play!!!!

Go RU

[Captain Hogleg]

Already Nunzio is a better coach than Ash.

That has become apparent quickly

[whofrewdatmataRU13]

Ash is a loser

[ScarletteK80]

Already Nunzio is a better coach than Ash.

and much better to look at from a female perspective.

[RUSK97]

WTF?!????? That was awesome. Ash who?

[rutgersguy1_rivals]

Already Nunzio is a better coach than Ash.

McNulty too lol.

[RUScrew85]

That has become apparent quickly

Jeeze it really has.

[Scarlet_Scourge]

Nunz might as well go nuts.

Nothing to lose

[RedChucken123]

If one of our first 2 QBs and our star running back played we would have had a real shot at winning this.

Besides Carter who's injured, forget Sitkowski and Blackshear. Too much finesse and not enough grit. I always preferred Pacheco anyway.

[rucook08]

Langans are guy ! TOUCHDOWN RU

[NickRU714]

When we played time of possession ball with Kill, we were actually fairly competitive in a lot of games. Even won a few!

Average TOP:

2016 - 27:10 (#110)
2017 - 28:30 (#98)
2018 - 28:54 (#91)
2019 (first 4 games) - 29:20 (#79)

Ummmm.....I'll have to throw a challenge flag on that argument.

Or are you trying to say the offense has actually been getting better each year?

[MadRU]

Onside kick time?

[NickRU714]

I'm going to show constraint and not start quoting everyone who said:

"McN deserves no blame. Nobody in the country could coach this offense!"

[HeywoodGiant]

We need to sign Nunzo to a 4 year deal at half time

[RUboston]

Extend Nunzio at halftime!

[SouthJerseyRU]

[angmo]

Amazing how monumentally incompetent Ash was. Arrogant loser.

[RUboston]

Ouch! That was easy.

[RUSK97]

Nice adjustments on Locksley’s part.

[angmo]

All of a sudden the D can tackle.

[BIGRUBIGDBIGredmachine]

Wheel routes wide open wtf:chairshot:

[MadRU]

Same play two times in a row, TD

[RUboston]

Make the adjustment right now and cover the RB going forward.

[Salvi's Headband]

Wow, what a disappointing response by the defense. Just awful.

[BIGRUBIGDBIGredmachine]

All of a sudden the D can tackle.

but still not cover

[sct1111]

Bold strategy by Buh to not cover that receiver twice in a row.

[ScottRU93]

Wheel routes wide open wtf:chairshot:

Yeah let’s not go too crazy on the D yet. Would have been nice if they could have kept the momentum.

[ScarletDave]

Zone defense falls for play action exact play 2 times in a row. Talk to the two on the sideline and say from now on you get the wheel route guy EVERYTIME!

[RUeric]

Same play twice in a row. Twice that Fogg was just standing around while everyone else picked a man in their zone.

[Rufaninga]

At that rate Maryland's D will be gassed in 3rd quarter.

They adjusted to our run D, now for us to adjust to the passing attack.

lets Go!

[leftoright]

If NJ allowed $$ for athletes to get paid for images, which RU player would be first to make money at it.
Korsak on a tee shirt..............

[angmo]

Ash would punt.

[redking]

Can Ash come back as Defensive Coordinator?

[GoodOl'Rutgers]

refs are taking the game off.. on the pass to pachecko... the DL who reached for the tipped ball THEN tackled Pachecko for no reason.. unnecessary roughness.. and then TARGETING on that 4th down

[King of S]

Dumb, dumb, dumb call to go for it on your own 45 down seven.
