Football LIVE GAME THREAD: Rutgers vs. Maryland

[Caliknight]

Blackshear in this offense would have been interesting with Carter.

[R U Crazy]

7-0 1st QTR.....

Quick thoughts
1) Maryland QB is not that good
2) Langen is a good wildcat QB, his throwing motion has a hitch or two
3) RU Defense has a hard time defending the pass
4) Special Teams tried to BLOCK a punt!!!!

Overall, this is about what I expected.

[Caliknight]

At least we are being aggressive. After Ash powder puff, that’s a plus.

[RUsince52]

So far the MD QB isn't doing much better.

[NickRU714]

Rutgers is up on Time of Possession 11.5min to 3.5min.......so everyone is happy?

[RUSK97]

Bo with some smart moves. Too bad negated

[JRZEER]

Langen May red shirt at half time.

[Knightmoves]

Cole Snyder inserted and makes a handoff.

Let’s give him the start in the 2nd half.

When we played time of possession ball with Kill, we were actually fairly competitive in a lot of games. Even won a few!

[RUSK97]

Don’t we have walkon QBs?

Good strategy IMO. Don’t get into a track meet with these guys are hopefully your defense comes up with some turnovers.

[RedChucken123]

We're currently down, but tbh, I like the energy we're showing. Langan hasn't played much, so you gotta give him a break a little. I respect his tough running and would hope his teammates can rally around that too. Defense is, for once bringing the heat, instead of sitting back. At least the game is more entertaining to watch.

[bethlehemfan]

Was that a legit block in the back?

[brgRC90]

This offense may not score another TD for the rest of the season

[Salvi's Headband]

REALLY nice play by Izien saving a big gainer.

[Knightmoves]

Defense playing well.

[ScottRU93]

Wow we are actually sending pressure. What a shock

[RUSK97]

Is this really Andy Buh coaching??

I too am shocked

[Salvi's Headband]

When was the last time we had two sacks in a half?

[RUScrew85]

Langan is doing great. Hit a couple of passes and he's our guy.

[Knightmoves]

If we can score we can win this one.

[BIGRUBIGDBIGredmachine]

Defense playing well.

Except for 1st fricken play they are crushing it! Love it! Keep chopping D!

[ScottRU93]

Kind of shows you where the marching orders were coming from. D is being run completely different today

[Salvi's Headband]

So that's four straight three and outs, right? Too bad about that one stupid play. Also too bad we missed that FG.

[RUScrew85]

Oh and MD sucks worse than I thought.

[whofrewdatmataRU13]

GABAGOOL

[ScottRU93]

We are actually outplaying Maryland by quite a bit. They had 1 big play and then nothing

[RUSK97]

I mean it’s a gamble for sure, but it’s exciting D to watch.

[MadRU]

If one of our first 2 QBs and our star running back played we would have had a real shot at winning this.

[GoodOl'Rutgers]

I wonder if MD's first loss this year laid down a nice blueprint to D them.

D is playing real well.. hopefully it inspires the O.

Even that TD pass.. no safety home.. flag picked up was OL downfield.. I wonder if that actually did happen and, a safety and LB seeing that just jumped the run fake... not their fault if an OL was coming at them.

[ScarletDave]

First play was last remnants of Ash D. Buh has taken over Maryland 0-4 on 3rd down and multiple sacks already. Keep it up! Now gotta make
Some small tweaks to the O - short completions like Art was starting to do will do us wonders. And need a bomb to open it up. Cmon O line !!!

[MadRU]

Wow flea flicker works.

[Rufaninga]

AWESOME PLAY!!!!!

[Scarlet_Scourge]

Great pass and catch!!! WOW!

[JRZEER]

Beautiful play.

[Salvi's Headband]

WOAH!

[RUSK97]

Woo hooooooo

[RUScrew85]

LOL. Awesome. Flea Flicker.

[Rufaninga]
