I don't blame anyone when they claim Rutgers has a lot of problems off the field
(and need to prove themself on the field) and was totally embarrassed because of the crimminal activity some of the RU FB players were involved in and how an ex RU HC conducted himself .but in no way can that compare to the way Paterno and the PSU administration protected a child molester and the length of time they done so.
Penn St was paying out for sexual abuse claims since the 70s in an effort to keep the knowledge of children being molested by a member of Peterno's staff from the public.
Then when that pervert was almost caught (1998), he was forced to retire once enough time went by so it wouldn't look connected to his being investigated for a sex crime ( but not charged) and made Coach Emeritus to make it look like a regular retirement.
Then a few years later that POS was caught by a Nit GA in the football shower molesting a child and Paterno and the PSU Administration covered that up.
So Nit fans ,doen't even try to compare misdeeds,Penn St allowed children to be molested for over 40 years and did everything they could to protect a child molester.
Rutgers had/has problems with players and their crimes were always put out in the open ,those crimes pale in comparison to what Penn St allowed. Don't try to use them to lessen what Paterno and the other child molester protectors did.
So again, what is your point? I don’t support paterno.

It’s really sad when all you have are Sandusky jokes and insults to hurl. I’m not going to bother debunking all the innacuracies of your post but I’m just going to point out that talking **** about paterno does nothing at this point. It doesn’t matter to the school, it doesn’t matter to the current players, it doesn’t matter to recruits, it doesn’t matter to the current coaching staff but yet I understand why you continue to go back to it because as a Rutgers fan, it’s all you have.
It actually makes me laugh when I read posts like yours because it reminds me of back in 2011 when everything went down, fans of Rutgers, Pitt, Maryland (you know, the schools we used to have to compete with for mutual recruits) were convinced that this was the way to the top! This is what is going to bury penn state and all the jersey recruits they steal every year will now go to Rutgers! Or so you thought....
I don’t believe at all that you carry on harping 7 years later because you are concerned with the well being of children. I doubt very much you could name even 1 of the last 1000 child abuse charges that have occurred in the country without a google search so please, save the morality schtick.
But again, when it comes to James Franklin and Penn State, you have nothing. All you have is an 0-4 record and an apology from your own AD on behalf of your fans because of how they acted in 14’.
There was no need for apologies in 16’, I went back and by the start of the third quarter there were more psu fans than Rutgers fans in that stadium. Psu students literally went over to the Rutgers student section (you know, maybe to say hi to the people that chant ‘F*ck penn state’ every third down since 2015) but when they went over for introductions your fans were NO WHERE to be found? So wait, talk a bunch of sh*t and then run when the opponent actually shows up.... laughable
FWIW, you’re blaming your previous coach for the problems at Rutgers off the field but what about the 8 players charged with CC fraud this year? ALL of them were recruits of Chris Ash, NOT Kyle Flood.... but yea it’s kyle floods fault... delusional
