According to Ped st fans. Since they only recruit 4 stars. Appy st should of been a cake walk. I mean Appy st’s recruiting classes are in the 110’s. Yet, they were in a dogfight with Ped st.

Remember Appy st lost a ton from last years team that lost to Wake Forest. According to the Ped st fans Appy st could of beat OSU on Saturday lol.

What happens when they play such a inferior program like Pitt. Who recruits in the 30’s and 40’s?

Seems it didn't make a lick of difference to your fans either. As long as you win, all is forgiven, seems to be the Cults mantra. Good job sacrificing basic human decency for getting back to the top quickly. Good to see University Park has it's priorities in order. You guy's still flying your Confederate Flags as well?

Of course you should want Pitt to win...Crush them to the ground. As for the comparison, it isn't the same at all. At least not to me. I used to hate ND when they would F over the BE, but we are now in the B1G so they can sux my left nut as an afterthought. They don't matter to me at all. Will want them to beat Mich every single time until we know we are good enough to beat Mich on a regular basis. Same with Pitt/UConn/Cuse/BC/Mia etc...we are in the B1G so everything I disliked about them previously, just doesn't matter.

Pitt's starting QB is Kenny Pickett from Ocean Twp NJ. He came out same year as Jonathan Lewis (SPP). Pickett was a low -mid 3 star who has done well and coached up by the staff at Pitt.

I should have clarified. I was talking the 18’ and 19’ classes. So last year and this current year.

O’Neal, Clark, and Melton came Ash’s first year. That is normal for players to be drawn to a new coach particularly if they had been building a relationship with that same coach while they were at a bigger school like Ohio State. It’s up to the coach to build on that momentum bc whether those on this board want to admit it or not recruiting accounts for probably 60% of a teams success on the field... it’s THAT substantial...

But yea look at technicalities and bank on the 3 mutual recruits RU has compared to the 50 something mutual offered recruits psu has.

Nah, once they cleaned house. Took down the statue. Fired Spanier, Curley and Schultz, Sandusky was put in prison for life, George Mitchell monitored the school and made sure that institutional changes were made across the board, brought in James Franklin and changed the culture of the program, THEN all was forgiven.

You seem to think I’m like the fanboys on bwi that could t even get accepted into a branch campus at psu. I actually went to psu, I care deeply about it and was horrified with what happened. That said they have completely fixed that mess on an institutional level and that is what I support is the institution and it’s student athletes.

I think it’s really just jealousy that your team does not have the support and success you crave. Penn state students LITERALLY went into YOUR stadiums student section and took it over the last time psu visited Rutgers... Let that sink in, that’s embarrassing!

Yet you still think news from 7 years ago is relevant. O'Neal came in Ash's first year? We must be cheating then by calling him a true freshman.

We don't have any 19' recruits yet, and, BTW, neither do you. The first signing day isn't until Dec. Last year at this time you "had" that QB Justin Fields, at least you must have thought that. Too bad, I hear that he's tearing it up at Georgia. [roll]

IMHO, It's not about recruits right now. It is about a B1G opponent who a majority of us RU fans "DISLIKE" getting a loss (and hopefully more).

Let’s go Pitt and it’s not even close.

Being in a PSU bar with some buddies for the game against OSU last season was an amazing experience.

meh, I really don’t care but, Congrats! You have 1 rivals 5.5 3* recruit with a psu offer from last year, you’re totally killing it!

See psu isn’t like Rutgers and recruits DON’T just bolt the minute a better offer comes in the door. As for Justin Fields, I’m Good. McSorely and Stevens are perfectly fine! I’m more excited anyway by Taquan Roberson, you know the #1 ranked QB from New Jersey this year?
