JFC does Cuomo say the same thing at every single PC?

Just curious why you'd watch a daily governor brief for a state that's not your's. And if you don't like the way he does, then why are you watching?
I have the Sirius playing in the background and he's usually on at lunch time.

Thin skinned Trumpers don't like people that tell the truth. They rather hear right wing lies. This is yet another exhibit by all the usual suspects.

Boring
And like a limp dick in a ***** house, you are useless in this discussion

He is complaining about states bidding against each other, not FEMA, driving up the prices, when the solution is for the POTUS to invoke the Defense Production Act, which would stop the bidding wars and would ensure all states weren't competing against each other.

He just invoked the act YESTERDAY. YESTERDAY. Another yuge failure.

I used to sell pharmaceuticals to the gov./DoD Same with medical supplies...my son is selling the disinfectants in NYC today! They are actually decreasing their pricing, but they are prioritizing accounts based on need. If you think the states are practicing blind bidding for ventilators, you are truly a liberal sheep!

Fact is, CMS and the DOD sets the price for items like these for the states. They have access to buy at that price or at least know the traditional market. The state of NY wants more than they need and the market is allowing for other states to be prepared. If NY got their 30,000-40,000 do you really think that a hospital in WV would have the access to strengthen their ability to take care of our patients?

Lenox Hill and NYC Health and Hospital Corporation are not non-profit. LMAO!

https://www.nychealthandhospitals.org

They are a non-profit IDN...hense the .org and not .com. They also have a ton of community health centers which is not only non-profit but accept gov. funds to care for the sick regardless of their ability to pay....That is as close to a gov. run health center that we have in the US...

You really don't know much about anything but healthcare is way out of your league.

Where is the NHS located?

You f'ucking moron.

Hospitals are threatening to fire health-care workers who publicize their working conditions during the coronavirus pandemic -- and have in some cases followed through.

Ming Lin, an emergency room physician in Washington state, said he was told Friday he was out of a job because he’d given an interview to a newspaper about a Facebook post detailing what he believed to be inadequate protective equipment and testing. In Chicago, a nurse was fired after emailing colleagues that she wanted to wear a more protective mask while on duty. In New York, the NYU Langone Health system has warned employees they could be terminated if they talk to the media without authorization.

“Hospitals are muzzling nurses and other health-care workers in an attempt to preserve their image,” said Ruth Schubert, a spokeswoman for the Washington State Nurses Association. “It is outrageous.”

You live in a fantasy world then. Why isn't Fox News covering the story of all the PPE shortages? It's a parade of doctors and health care workers pleading for PPE on CNN if you dare look. It's not unusual for you to not have one idea about what's going on since you apparently focus on pro-Trump/reality denial media outlets.

Also....you seem to be a fairly smart fellow.....do you know where the NHS is located? Your buddy Country posted a story about them.

They have...as a matter of fact, Tucker Carlson's (opinion and not news) lead topic this week was the fake information about masks not helping if you are healthy. He had harsh words for the gov who basically made up stories trying to say that wearing a mask will actually make you sicker... because we had a shortage. Two days later, they are recommending wearing PPE if you are not sick...

I believe that Gov.....was Coumo last night on CNN. He basically said they were useless except if they were not the N95 masks. But..he did say go ahead and wear them if they felt like it. To his credit he did say it might help if the positive tested wore the masks.

PPE shortages are widespread, testing is still not where it needs to be and I'm sure that many states are short on respirators. Since you're so interested in NY you might try reading up about their severe PPE shortages.

Sure we could have shortages and most likely will if all the projections are on target......BUT....lets stick with the facts as of today. Post the quotes from people that say they were denied any respirators or ventilators.......an "I'm sure" from you doesn't cut it in the real world.

We have serious shortages right now, no projections needed. Inform yourself.

Maybe you should the people in SC,DC and Seattle that allowed their PPE to be stolen.
You actually think any President can simply wave a magic wand and it will suddenly appear.
BTW.....you article never showed one example where a patient or provider did not get the equipment that was needed when needed.....Plenty of what if's......and plenty of blame for a lot of people for not being more prepared. Is Trump perfect...certainly not......but he also has been working with the hand he was dealt.

Why do they cover it? He speaks for 60 minutes and says the same things as the previous day (just with updated numbers). Always talking stockpile, NY using is, then passing it on when the need it over. Maybe he can talk about how they lost 20,000 hospital beds over the last decade as a result of poor state and local government.
Add in what he and his family is having for dinner

He wanted 40000 originally. Ultimately I think he and Trump worked well together to make sure that NY had enough of what they needed.

A big swing-and-a-miss by Cuomo, but the MSM will continue to give him a free pass, as usual. I understand why he was worried, but demanding over and over again that NY receive 30,000-40,000 ventilators was nuts, especially considering that one ventilator costs the same as a very nice new car, and it takes time to build one.

He was basing requests off of projections provided to him by gov't health experts.
