Foolish me. I thought this was a web site for discussing WVU football. Not pissing matches between skunks. Now, what about Tony Gibson matching his defense against the Mountaineers in Mountaineer Field? That's intriguing.

Anyone think McBride can play. The G from Ohio.
Truthfully we need some more guards from Chicago, Baltimore, St Louis or Philly.
Jordan McCabe is a good guard but he is a pretty boy
Need a pitbull
His Dad is involved.
Think his Dad wants something else for his son or he truthfully was upset by the reactions of some fans to his son.
But his dad is in his ear.
Pretty much the football version of Hillbilly Ball.
Truthfully don't like either one .
Dana with WV or D'Antoni with Marshall.
Fun to watch because there are a lot of highs and lows but no defense.
Dana is still an excellent offensive mind. Like him or not.
What does Texas A&M have to do with West Virginia?
Just because I own you it doesn't make me Texass.
He/She is not the only one who owns you on here. Everyone one does truthfully.
You did say West Virginia has access to the same talent as everyone.
Dana for the most part did pretty well in terms of bringing in talent in relation to his recruiting. WV has around the same number of players in the NFL as Texas and Oklahoma.
You are asking Neal Brown to pretty much grasp perfection. This is hard for any coach. Think your expectations for West Virginia must come down. Nothing wrong with WV being 6-6 on the low end and 10-2 on the high end. Pretty much TCU, Oklahoma State and maybe even Iowa State now.
Here is talent in terms of recruiting ranking for 2019 rosters
Big 12:
Texas - 7th nationally
Oklahoma - 8th nationally
TCU - 31st nationally
Baylor - 36th nationally
Oklahoma State - 38th nationally
West Virginia - 40th nationally
Iowa State - 55th nationally
Texas Tech - 63rd nationally
Kansas State - 72nd nationally
Kansas - 73rd nationally
Truthfully WVU needs to be in front of TCU, Oklahoma State and Baylor before we start demanding 10 win seasons on the regular.
Better recruiting and to evaluate at the same level as Dana Holgorsen
He did evaluate pretty well. Don't care what anyone says
Truthfully we can't judge Dana because there is nothing to judge him against except for one season. In that one season Dana won the Big East and the Orange Bowl.
After that he was in the Big 12. No coach in WVU's history has went through a Big 12 season except Dana. After Neal Brown is here for three to four years we will have a better understanding.
I still have Dana as undetermined and Neal Brown as Incomplete.
Cannot put a grade on Neal Brown at WVU after two games.
Who cares what he did at Troy.
Phil Steele had this team where it should be 8th or 9th.
The problem is that Kansas State isn't as bad as most thought. They had some pieces at QB and on the OLine.
2 of the teams with new coaches are looking very good but they both had returning QBs.
The other two do not and have stumbled out of the gate. Truthfully the games haven't even started. Being competitive against K State, Baylor and Texas Tech is what is needed.
Dana did some things poorly.
Let's not act like he built a complete team. His ability to find ways to get playmakers in space is up there with some of the best. Problem is he thinks he is one of the best as well.
So he went all on offense and hoped and prayed his defense could hold. If not let's go down and score as quick as possible.
A lot of the things Neal Brown does on offense is similar. Plus he is a coach who will create an offense around the players he has like any decent coach. Neal Brown has the ability to create more of an efficient methodical offense as well. Truthfully don't know what his preference will be. Recruiting will determine a lot
But Neal Brown should start his career at 0.
Problem is Brown isn't. Brown is starting his career at West Virginia with this idea that he is going to give what they were missing with Dana Holgersen.
Some on here will say no and argue this point but I have seen it the past eight months on here.
Setting him up for failure. When he isn't winning 9+ games people will consider him a failure.
Because he is better than Dana...
Pitt is recruiting at the same level as West Virginia they just have 4 more commits
Truthfully one of Pitt's commits Parrish the RB from Florida is looking to jump.
Don't know where you are coming from Greggy.
I think if the BigEast stayed together you would have seen Dana win the conference the majority of the time.
Dana wanted to be at a school in a similar situation.
I have heard Dana say it himself. He didn't think Oklahoma was going to replace Baker Mayfield.
The guy is a gambler. He betted on his football team and his career last year. It didn't work out.
Neal Brown from what I see is a lot more grounded.
Not saying he isn't afraid to take risk but his football teams are based more on things that work instead of things flashy.
Ultimately I think this is better for West Virginia. I think they need someone who can stabilize the program and build something that works.
Truthfully think Dana was looking for a better job his entire time at WV. This is why I think the Houston job is interesting to him...
But with what they are giving him they are going to be piss if he abandons them.
Better not give them any dirt because they won't be afraid to use it.
Neither is the ACC and neither is the Big 12.
All three conferences aren't any good at football.
Truthfully doesn't mean much because people who celebrate conferences are because their team is weak.
But there are some facts mixed up.
1) Texas talking with the PAC 12 was a negotiation tactic for the LHN. PAC 12 was going to start a network without ESPN. ESPN wanted their hands on Texas' third tier rights in sports.
The PAC 12 talks were based around leverage with ESPN and in hopes of blowing it up for Colorado.
Even started having people in Colorado thinking that the PAC 12 was going to pass them over for the 4 Texas schools and 2 Oklahoma schools.
Oklahoma after the fact tried to get into the PAC 12 by themselves when UT told Stanford no.
But the PAC 12 wasn't interested in Oklahoma.
California is a destination spot for Oklahoma. PAC 12 represents California.
Cultural fit be damn.
Oklahoma has ties to California even has a fanbase there and recruits the state very well. California is their second biggest recruiting state after Texas.
Exactly.
Stats usually aren't a way to measure anything.
Some bad running teams put up a lot of yards but they do it because space is opened up.
Chip Kelly's offense is a perfect example.
Some good running teams aren't in the Top 10 or 20.
What makes a difference is teams who can run the ball when everyone knows they will for 4+ yards.
That is when you have things lined up.
West Virginia wasn't that team last year.
Those ypc were based around Will Grier.
Without Will Grier teams are more likely to stay near the LOS.
Only thing I have to wonder about Neal Brown and his OL coach is what they like in an OL.
Looks like they want big guys. 6-5 315+.
But truthfully the players who are being drafted in the first round on the OLine are the guys entering college at 6-5 or 6-6 270 and bulking up.
Truthfully would take the big if he had the athleticism but most don't.
When you run spread you need athletes on the OL because you have more space to cover.
Don't think WV is near what they should be because those OL aren't covering a lot of space and the space they do cover they aren't dominating.
That is something that takes a program 2+ years to fix
Don't be so insecure. Texas has nothing to do with this conversation.
Texas owns Oklahoma historically and is the only program that have won on a high level for an extended period of time in the Big 12. Truthfully Texas is the only program that can get Oklahoma to the next level.
None of this has to with Murray.
His final three were Houston, Ole Miss and Oklahoma
Only can blame Dana for so long.
Dana was expected to win at a high level. I don't truthfully know the ceiling for WV so I cannot comment if that is true or not. Ultimately I think Dana saw the window closing. Wasn't getting the support and saw the energy coming from Maryland.
I warned you about how much talent Maryland had on their roster and could get. Dana knew that was where the players are that WV had access to that are needed.
All Dana needs is a QB....
When you say that Dana couldn't develop a QB it was because he had high standards.
For the most part WVU never really had a loaded roster. Why do you think Tavon Austin and Kevin White both haven't produced in the NFL. Dana made them.
Neal Brown wants to build a team around more than a QB. Ultimately that is a good thing but you still need a QB. Truthfully a team like that will help you against "inferior" competition.
In terms of talent I don't think Iowa State and Oklahoma State were that far behind WVU last year.
Being able to run over teams gives you that ability to dominate games and not allow teams to have a chance.
But that type of team doesn't come over night.
That is why most teams rely on QB play.
But truthfully those teams never will be Top 10 caliber.
Just wasted probably about 30 minutes of you day Truthfully. But truthfully the word truthfully is just a word truthfully. Truthfully I don't why some people use the word but it probably means they truthfully believe what they say truthfully.
Greg is a POS.
There are a few more on this message board that need to be thrown out.
But you have to ask yourself what are you proving.
Even if I was this person would it hurt me.
Truthfully the answer is no because truthfully it doesn't matter.
You can't hang something over someone's head if it doesn't hurt them.
Calling me TVZ doesn't hurt me at all.
So it is a waste of your time Jason Voorhees.
If you really wanted to get me you should have accused me of being a member of the Axis of Evil.
GregJacobs
His cuck or alter MichiganHerd
Tosugrad90
But it is whatever. Next time be smarter with your alters. Don't act like a VA Tech fan and then a WVU fan.
Easily traceable
No one is buying it.
You aren't good at this.
Buying what?
You aren't selling anything that would damage me.
That is why it is so funny.
This is too much
A) Don't use an account to troll that you used previously as a fan of VA Tech
B) If it gets exposed don't expose your other accounts to exact revenge
C) If you are going to make accusations make sure they are something that actually would cause damage.
This is all reactionary for me exposing your account.
Anyone with half of a brain sees this.
