A better plan would be for the other 10 guys on the offensive team, to get between the douche nozzle OL #68 and get him back to the sideline or get him into the group of guys celebrating the TD. Instead, the entire team gets berated for not being a dumbass.
I have played and coached football. Yes, there are fights in practice, and when the fights are because of something that would warrant a fight, no problem. That wasn't the case here. The defender, when he realized the RB had crossed the goal line, let the RB go, and may have gave him a little assistance getting to the ground. Nothing here was against any code, no one was going to get hurt unnecessarily. The tackler was frustrated he didn't make the play before the RB scored. The RB wasn't mad when he got up. The OL wasn't protecting his guy. It was simply an unnecessary brawl that creates the wrong idea of when to stick up for your guys, and creates confusion. Now guys are going to be quick triggered or they will be afraid of being called out for not fighting.
pointless!! And if you read my posts, not once did I mention Sanders, so it has nothing to do with insecurities about him.
To the point someone else made about "if this were Nebraska" ....Matt Rhule would have been more pissed off because of the inability to control their emotions than he would have that not everyone was swinging at an opponent. Moot point.
