No kidding- I was at my PCP two months ago for my yearly and this blonde smoke show came in with a big case , said hello, went to the back central area. Watching her interact with my doc was eye opening to say the least….. needless to say I was glad he didn’t prescribe anything for me but I couldn’t blame him if he wanted to dump pills on me if that was her big pharma company. Brought to you by Pfizer
Remember when they used to hire dudes for that job...and then they realized...wait...we should just hire hot *** girls ages 23-28...pay them a nice salary plus commission and in 3-5 years they will be done working because they will marry a doctor and we can stop paying them.

It's a mixed bag, really. Some people swear by them, but I'm a bit sceptical
I think everyone should be skeptical. I was/am. My experience is that I was having chronic hip pain. Also neck and back pain. Went to a chiropractor every so often. Was never very sold.
Ended up trying a different one and has almost completely alleviated my hop pain. And this is the pain that would cause long car rides to be agony for me. Now really no issues there. I do adjustments once enough, but also get suggested core strengthening and stretching exercise as part of it. (now admittedly im **** at this and am doing myself no favors).
I still question how much is it really helping compared to if i would just exercise more and stretch to help myself, but I cant argue my hip being better.

Chiropractic care helped me immensely with severe back & neck pain. It's been many years since I've gone for an adjustment because I've been pain free since then.

The guy I saw was a graduate of the Gonstead(?) method. He used a 2-pronged meter to run up & down my back to indicate 'hotspots' that needed to be adjusted. I can find more articles claiming those meters are quakery than advocate their benefits. Whatever.

I was on Oxycontin and even Morphine for the pain before I got relief from chiropractic adjustments. That's no way to live.

My chiropractor was content to have me come in weekly forever until I just quit going. That's definitely the only problem I had with that whole profession.
