Firing Frost of course had to be done, but it is weird timing. If you are going to bring Frost back after going 3-9 last year, just wait a few weeks and save 7 million dollars.
Because the season was going far worse than even the biggest pessimist would have predicted - even people who thought we'd go 4-8/5-7 this year assumed we'd be 3-0 at this point, not 1-2.

Not saying that iHCMJ should take on defensive coordinator duties; we all know how that turned out. I’m wondering if there’s anyone worth elevating on the defensive staff that would put out a better product than the dumpster fire we witnessed last night.
He can dictate a new identity/scheme on defense, and Chins will run it. That is what I would do anyway.

Lol we heard all off-season about how important the $7.5 million was, and the narrative flips just like that huh? Trev is a complete ****ing idiot for keeping Frost around another year knowing this would be the inevitable outcome.
maybe, but you have to consider appearances, and nobody can say we didn't give him every chance to succeed.

I also truly believe we should be the odds-on favorite to win the B1G West right now

the rest of the teams in this division suck just as bad as we do & they have worse players
I wish I shared your optimism. Our D is worst of all time

He has been begging to get out, he chased Tennessee HARD twice for instance, also went after Ole Miss when Kiffin was hired, went after UF, went after Miss St...been trying to get out of Okie St and to the SEC
I believe you might be thinking of Bo

There has been very few highlights during Scott's tenure as head coach at Nebraska. For me it was the Michigan State game in 2018. It was so cold and snowing, but the stadium was electric. I did not think a 9-6 football game could be that thrilling, but it was. Three of my friends were in their seats low in Section 30. I squeezed in with them for the second half. It was too much fun. After the game ended being so close to where the players and coaches were leaving the field I went to congratulate them for their hard fought victory. The only time I have ever done that. Scott was so pumped. He was just beaming. I thought to myself, "OK, Here we go. We are going to be alright with Scott as our coach". Sadly, it proved otherwise.

I have no problem with any coaches coming back for a game day. Whether I liked them as coaches or not, they were part of this program and I believe did their best.
