Wasn’t TA and Frost first interview odd and SF started talking about something and Trev cut him off/shutdown?

Then, SF come out like he’s mad his mom didn’t write TA a letter about how she was and Olympian and be nice to her Scotty.

SF gives no opening statement, top button undone with the tie, body language screams he’s not happy and then gives the “figurehead” comment.

And you still don’t think this guy is a selfish baby man child who would pull some im taking over im the boss calling the shots/playa ****?

I like @NikkiSixx can see how it’s believable. Will it happen probably not but SF looks like a spoiled brat if you ask me.
Part of this fan base has lost its mind.

I think TA wants SF to succeed and I believe Frost actually gets two years to turn this around. Why? I don't believe TA would allow all these assistant coaches to be hired for a one year and done type atmosphere. I believe he promised them at least two years. TA interview at the Big 10 media days shows his support and the fact he wants to work through this and that he likes SF plan and believes in it. Rumors versus TA's actual on film answers states so much more to the regard.

I think your comments are mostly right. Trev's hands could be forced however if Scott has another disaster this Fall like only 4 wins. Seems highly unlikely right now but then again I kept thinking it was going to turn around before now and sadly that never happened.

He gets 2 years to turn this around? Wouldn't that actually be 6 years then? Not a chance he was guaranteed 2 years.

TA definitely wants this to be successful under the current model of empowered assistant coaching leadership and greatly reduced head coach involvement

if this takes off he can pay the assistants well and not have to get into the arms race of escalating head coaching salaries given both he and Frost know that the head coach's involvement is greatly reduced

Frost can't demand upper level salary compensation given the above - he will be allowed to take credit for winning and get fan points by claiming to take a lesser salary for the good of the program

big obstacle will be if the assistants egos will allow them to stay in the shadows while the head coach takes the credit while doing little of the work

If he can't manage a winning record in the regular season and is still given another year, will be most disappointed in Alberts, but i am confident he's not a chicken ****

We need to give him time to fix the dumpster fire he took over at the end of 2021.

Reading the tea leaves can be difficult, and we can be wrong, but I do like to look at how plausible things are.

Going against the crowd is never popular on this, or any other board, but often times, they are wrong.

Whatever people are pounding the table about, is usually the other way around.

Frost is pounding the table telling everyone he is not a figurehead.. well he most certainly is.

I remember the people on this board pounding the table telling everyone that there was No Way that Eichorst was running the program, but he was.

The pounding on the table was massive about the freshman QB heisman hopeful who turned out to be one of the worst QB's in NU history.

I also remember QB competitions that everyone told us was real, and being attacked because I said SF was a liar.. well, you get the picture.

A lot of people are blue pilled, and it's better that most stay that way.

here's Frost's full interview.

kevin warren sounds pretty checked out at the top.

no opening statement from Frost and first question is from a guy in ohio asking how we can get competitive lol.

I hope all the chip on the shoulder stuff is true. time to have some f'in pride and go kick someone's teeth in

Warren should have come out and said, “Does everyone here remember when gas was $1.13 a gallon? Well, that was the last time our next speaker was relevant to college football. Come on up here, Scotty!”

That was awful effort on SF's part. Not a good look for UNL
