Seems to me the media days for all conferences have lost their luster in these times where everything is on the web in advance any way. Nothing of any substance is likely to be announced. But yes I understand it gives local writers a chance to interview players and coaches so they can write up pretty meaningless articles to publish for the next several days.
At this point I'm personally more interested when Fall camp is underway and there is any meaningful news coming out of camp. Particularly when some players turn out to be having a great camp.

Need it to translate, but I think it's a great thing to see 2 guys on early season awards lists on the D-Line. It's been awhile since we had a stellar pass rush. That will help all of the D out if you have to account for it again. Chinander slowly doing a pretty damn good job. Now needs to keep it rollin.

I'm actually glad it is this way. Don't need any sound bites or **** being taken out of context. I love what happened today and actually think it positions us better. If you listen to Trev's message later on, they essentially say the same thing. This is a team and need to make sure everyone is on the same page, so when an injury or something happens we don't fall apart. So far this has been the quietest team in a long time. Hope they keep it that way and just go out and play ball. LFG
Chip on their shoulder? You earn wins before game day. 1-8 teams with a chip on their shoulder are a dime a dozen.
Why does it seem like Frost is pouting? Is he take my ball and go home kid? I like the about business approach but he seems awfully resentful he had to hand over the offense even if it benefits the team, I guess we'll see.
“I definitely don’t want to be just a figurehead.” That’s an interesting quote. Could take that in a number of directions.
I'm as critical of Frost's past record as anybody. But most head football coaches aren't good public speakers and hate having to go before the press. So I'll give him a pass on the public speaking. But I won't give him a pass on the team's performance this Fall.
Yeah, he was neutered, and doesnt like it. You could hear it when he tried to sell how close they have been. Pride took a hit.
