HCSF knows Martinez can be great with the right coaching and that’s why he wants him back. Martinez has had bad coaching the last 4 years but with a new OC and QB coach that won’t be the case. Martinez will be back to being a front runner for Heisman like he was before his sophomore year. Martinez is is close to breaking all the passing records in NU history so after next year he will own all of them for many years to come. We don’t want that guy in our program? Of course we do. We support our players no matter what!!!
"HCSF knows Martinez can be great" = opinion
"that’s why he wants him back" = opinion
"Martinez has had bad coaching the last 4 years" = likely fact
"with a new OC and QB coach that won’t be the case" = hopeful opinion supported by nothing.
"Martinez will be back to being a front runner for Heisman like he was before his sophomore year" = delusional opinion.
"Martinez is is close to breaking all the passing records in NU history". Verifiable fact. Another verifiable fact: He is also close to becoming the losingest QB in the 150+ year history of college football.
"We don’t want that guy in our program?" = depends on who you ask. Apparently we have zero depth at QB. That could have been alleviated by hitting the transfer portal 2 seasons ago as well as last season.
