can you elaborate? im intrigued, interested in what solich said
All he told my in-law was "I warned Tom not to hire him". Frank's wife was embarrassed by the Pelinis. My take is that he didn't think Bo was cut out to be a head coach. Remember with Bo came Carl and while Carl was a GA for Solich he slept with one of his defensive player's wife. It cost us the kid's cousin who was a future NFL DT. Bo needs to just retire and ride off in to the sunset.

"I warned Tom to not hire a guy that would end up winning over 70% of this games, come within a half second of winning a conference championship, come within a bad second half of winning another one, bring a DT to the freaking heisman ceremony, help Suh, RG, Ameer, Rex, Prince, SJB, Haag, Gomes, and like 3 OL get drafted, never have less than 9 wins and have a freshmen QB was on his way to NY for a heisman ceremony until he got hurt"

Carl ******* some wife is not on Carl...it is on that wife. It is not like Carl is Rob Lowe. That lady was looking to cheat, and more than likely has/had cheated a lot.

Oh, so you're gonna blame my sister??? She was only trying to score some cocaine and he took it out in trade.

Bo was also about a centimeter away from hitting a ref with his hat. That is like a centimeter away from never coaching again.

And he is a pants wetter. You must really like pants wetters.

We have these debates all the time. The fact is, we haven't had a good coach that didn't have at least one giant issue since Solich was fired. So basically we're debating which bad coach was better than the rest of the bad coaches.

In an industry where even average head coaches with experience almost always get another head coaching gig... none of ours ever do in any meaningful way. Why is that? Sometimes the obvious answer is the right answer.
Solich was the one that started our path down the medicrity highway as he started our fall. A couple of DUI's and knockin up a med student up plus he was a lazy *** recruiter, hell McBride, Tenopir and Darlington couldn't stand him.

Honestly though, why is anyone discussing missing Bo? He isn't here. And wouldn't be here now even if he wasn't fired.

If I miss anyone it's T.O. Or my dad. But not Bo.
We need to stop using words like "miss" and "embarrassed" because that is not what we mean.

this is the kinda info thats needs to explain results...
I would add solich made us 1 dimensional by just running the qb....I know alexsander and buck fumbels a whole lot...but I'm surprised solich being a fantastic rb coach, couldn't fix it....
the qb run got crouch the heisman, but made it way too easy for colorado and miami to focus on

With all the years I have coached, I really don't think there are drills that make you better or worse at fumbling. Some dudes just fumble. Some don't.

So you made numerous posts under the post title referring to missing Bo, but now that isn't what you mean?

Of course everyone would take the results at face value. Especially compared to the crap show we're seeing now.

I'm good with that. Just add him to our roster of failed coaches that zero top 50 programs wanted as a head coach.

Then stop crying.

All that matters is the record.

I would party with Bill in a second, you know that guy has fun.
I don't know. Most of the lady folk he hangs with are pretty questionable.

He was tbe president of the freakin' US and was married to Hillary? And mess with Monica?

You would think he could pull better.

which is weird cause I read the other day buck went to the eagles, and I know the nfl probably has a very very short fuse on fumbles

I mean I’d take 9-4 or 10-4 any day compared to the crap show that’s been going on since his departure. Sometimes I wonder what Bo could have done with those 2015 or 2016 teams, I think those would have been 10-11 win teams with him as HC. Maybe we’re not only cursed by Solich, but by Pelini too. We also haven’t beaten Iowa since he was fired.

Anyway, I still find it puzzling why some people still hate his guts especially with the results we have had since his firing. Some will say “well with Frost at least we ain’t getting blown out”. Well that’s fine I guess if your content with living off of moral victories.

What is funny is the same posters that wanted Bo fired are the same ones that would want to be Scott Frost's husband if Frost was gay.

At times I do miss Bo. Feel like he had a tough job. Old red AD didn’t give him much support from the outside looking in at the program. He obviously had winning seasons, but man could not get over the hump. Definitely had some talent on the team and got them up most games. Just couldn’t stand the blow outs in bigger games. Guess I prefer Frost one score losses over the blowouts if I had to choose. I dunno though both suck.

LOL you're pretty triggered this morning. Unoriginal as it may be, it's a microcosm of the Pelini era. Beat teams like Indiana each year, laughed off the field against teams like Wisconsin. Pelini was never going to win a conference title and fired a year too late if you ask me.
Yep broken record....NOW we get beat by EVERY team in the conference, not just Wisconsin.

Damn who was the last coach we had to BEAT Wisconsin??

looks like we struck a nerve.

you are wildly inconsistent with your takes. it puts you in a disadvantageous position if you're trying to be taken seriously.
I'm never at a disadvantage., look who I'm up against. People who are fanboys of a coach for no reason than because he played at a certain school.

I like winning coaches.......IF YOU WIN I'M A FAN. I don't care bout your feelings.....ONLY FACTS
