Coach killersIIRC, Bill Moos said that the team’s performance at Minnesota was the nail in the coffin for the Mike Riley era. Looks like history is repeating itself.
And will Martinez return for another year also?I don't think Frost is let go this year. Just a hunch
I can understand Frost getting another year but 2AM cannot be QB next year...some people need to be fired. Time to see if Frost can grow up and make some tough choices for the betterment of the teamAnd will Martinez return for another year also?
For all the talk of progress, Frost's best season was his first one. Finished the year 4-2 and the 2 losses were very close games against Ohio State in the shoe and a good Iowa team. Almost all the losses that year were close games(Michigan withstanding).Remember three years ago when Frost blew out Minnesota and we thought that was the beginning of the turnaround?
I don't think Frost is let go this year. Just a hunch
hopefully notAnd will Martinez return for another year also?
How can you understand Frost getting another year? Would anyone alive including Frost himself believed he would deserve a 5th year with his record if you told them when he was hired?I can understand Frost getting another year but 2AM cannot be QB next year...some people need to be fired. Time to see if Frost can grow up and make some tough choices for the betterment of the team
And how much more time does he get to show he can grow up? I think he has had plenty of opportunity already and has already shown that he can not.I can understand Frost getting another year but 2AM cannot be QB next year...some people need to be fired. Time to see if Frost can grow up and make some tough choices for the betterment of the team
How can you retain a coach with 4 losing seasons in 4 years, and a 75th-ranked recruiting class coming in? What gives you optimism that this coaching staff can compete for championships in the future?
Not buying tickets is what we can do. I haven't for 2 years.Whether it happens this year or next, things will take its natural course. Not much else we can do.
If he comes back next year im going to flip out.I don't think Frost is let go this year. Just a hunch
Not sure he will be either. Doesn't mean he shouldn't be. Whole thing just sucks.I don't think Frost is let go this year. Just a hunch
Frost is done. Losing to Minnesota sealed it.I don't think Frost is let go this year. Just a hunch
Minnesota was Pelini’s last L in the books, too, if my memory serves me correct.Coach killers
Head Coach in Training program is in full stride.I can understand Frost getting another year but 2AM cannot be QB next year...some people need to be fired. Time to see if Frost can grow up and make some tough choices for the betterment of the team
But it was more of the Wisconsin blow out more than losing the next week to Minnesota has more to do with it..Minnesota was Pelini’s last L in the books, too, if my memory serves me correct.
Because we are a bottom feeder program that cannot get a sniff from a current successful D-1 coach. Trev might need a little more time to research the smaller programs to see if we can find a diamond in the rough and let that buyout diminish. How can you retain a coach with 4 losing seasons in 4 years, and a 75th-ranked recruiting class coming in? Nah, I have no reason to doubt Albert's at the moment. Eichorst was a disaster from the start. The sad thing is that when Frost gets fired, I'm going to have to Google the nobody we hire to replace him. As I did Mike Riley.
Why not?Not buying tickets is what we can do. I haven't for 2 years.
Agreed, I just don't think any proven winner wants to come here.Nah, I have no reason to doubt Albert's at the moment. Eichorst was a disaster from the start.
That's not my idea of having fun.Why not?
Don't you go to the games to party and have fun with your friends?
That is why I go.
So you really think Alberts would do that? The sad thing is that when Frost gets fired, I'm going to have to Google the nobody we hire to replace him. As I did Mike Riley.

Give Fickle $6 millionIf our basketball program can hire Fred Hoiberg, our football program can hire a better coach than Frost. We might not get a big name, but plenty of good coaches will be interested in a Big Ten job that pays $5 million/year.
