Wrong...Nebraska is not going to get a big name. Accept that fact and you will sleep better.
Of all Power Five programs, Nebraska is the worst geographically for recruiting. The state produces very few elite recruits, and surrounding states Wyoming, South Dakota, and North Dakota do even worse. Geographically there are no other Power Five programs farther from recruiting hotbeds Florida, Texas, California, and Georgia. The state is known for cows and corn, and is about as sexy as a tub of cottage cheese.
The best they can do is hire a young, extremely talented nobody and let him build a program. Give him all of the money he needs to hire a good staff who can recruit. Basically, a Scott Frost, only with talent and ability.
So NU is in in lamest division. Which means it is easy to win the west.
This job is literally a the "how to" win a division with ease job.
