If you don't mention the cartels, it's like they don't even exist.

Why won't Biden take this approach with covid?

25 year high under Biden. 25 year low under Trump. I feel for the border Patrol and towns. They are getting zero federal help from dummy and heels up Harris. # Super spreader. No. Not Kamala.

You're so clueless. The border is INFRASTRUCTURE, surely they're gonna get some money from the infrastructure bill. It's all part of the Dems plans to get more money for those places.

If you destroy an area, then you can spend more building it up. Duhhhhh. Look at Baltimore and Chicago and DC.

Well. Less than 25 percent of the infrastructure bill money is going to roads and bridges. The rest? All green new deal pork ********. Oh well. What's another 1 trillion.? 3 trillion. Only money right Dems?

Imagine, a virus so deadly, you can cross the Texas border in summer heat waves and still make it to a sanctuary city.

Remember Obama built the majority of the border fence. I know, I worked on all of the sections from Arizona to San Diego.

I thought it would take longer to turn us into Venezuela, the left has surpassed my expectations. At this rate they will actually get it dun by 2024 and I didn't think that was possibke.

What I wouldn't give for a mean Tweet or two I didn't have to read if I didn't want to, for less inflation, pre Biden gas prices and crime and a secure border.

Actually he didn’t. Those were built under the secure fence act passed under Bush. They were just built during the Obama years.

Obama could have stopped it and he didn't and actually funded more sections of it. So yeah, it got built under Obama just like I said.

I try to stick to football threads as that's why I come here but I do comment when it comes to the border... I live down here in Texas and have very close friends with DHS/Border Patrol and also with the TSP... When I tell you there is no border and that it's bad.... I promise you I'm telling you the truth... there is no border anymore. DHS has pulled agents from operations and have put them at work in the detention centers... THOUSANDS are crossing every shift in one sector alone that I know of... The total numbers of illegals coming over is nothing short of an Invasion and I don't take that term lightly... There are literal buses loading them up right as they cross and escorting them wherever they want... and for those wondering, No, they are NOT providing vaccinations of any-type (Covid or other) just letting them go about their business

For those that think this is a Texas issue, I'm sorry to tell you that you're wrong... They are on the hoof to locations all over the country... Nebraska included... Texas's problem is your problem too... I know what Ricketts did was controversial but it was needed badly... there simply isn't enough help

Here's my question. There are 480 million people in Central and South America most of whom would like to live in the United States. Exactly how many do you plan on letting in? Does this not hurt jobs for low income, low skill citizens, increase the drug problem, increase human trafficking/violence and suck up strained resources?

I wish the left would just be honest and declare they want 100% open borders. Anybody can come, we don't care, make yourselves at home.

No one blames Texas, we know where the responsibility lies. It's with that senile ice cream drunk in the White House

My cousin is the Zone 6 captain for Border Patrol, and he says all of the so-called "illegals" streaming across the border are actually Proud Boys and/or Oath Keepers in a massive false flag. He said it isn't unusual to see the same fat white guys coming across the border 5-6 times per day. They run across the border, dressed in ponchos and sombreros, singing Guantanamera, board a bus, go back to Mexico at a legitimate crossing point, and return on foot again. The border agents all laugh because it is so ridiculous.

So complaining about these perceived problems to mostly like-minded people on a football message board is your idea of a solution?
so intentionally navigating threads you don't like and complaining is your solution?

It is simply about getting as many POC in America as possible. Democrats want permanent power like they have in CA.

So are you saying what is happening at the border isn’t a major **** show? You don’t think the senile retard in the White House is a puppet for the Socialist Party? You think it’s okay to push mask mandates on Americans but let thousands of Covid-positive illegals into our Country?

I'll start off by saying what's going on now is a **** show but I don't think anyone really expected anything less from Biden's policies on this issue.

That said, I also don't think Trump ever really intended to commit to building the wall. I think he thought he was going to win the photo op and move on. He made hay of it on the campaign trail, built a few prototypes, replaced some tiny sections of existing fence....and then sort of dropped it for a year and a half.

Then Ann Coulter among others, pointed out we hadn't heard from Trump in a good long while about a wall, and only a couple hundred miles had been replaced (not new) in like 3 years, and we had debates about what constitutes a wall vs a fence and how much of that was progress towards the 2000+ miles.

All told he need to come up wth $25 billion or thereabouts and while Trump was a lot of things, a fiscal conservative he was not. In the umpteen trillion dollars he spent and printed, somehow he didn't find the remaining handful of billions to do it even after robbing the military of funds for the first few billion.

In the end the Trump administration more or less proved the wall wasn't necessary, at least not a whole borders worth. They were able to get the border numbers under control with far less than envisioned.

The southern border is an invasion, and I'm surprised people have not taken up arms against it yet.

I'm not. Lotta keyboard warriors out there. They just want to look "tacti-cool" in front of their friends. Oh yah, and they have jobs, so they don't have time.

Look I think only a fool would believe in an open boarder, but will you please think of the probabilities of your statement being true. So basically only six people across the border? You realize you’re only positive for like a week at a time right? I mean how do you figure they came upon those numbers? Do you think they tested everybody coming across and released them?

This is one of four crises under Biden and it’s only month 7. He may very well go down as the worse president in US history. I hope he gets back to his “moderate” ways, but I’m quickly losing hope.

Maybe Biden can combine the crisis so it's one less crisis. How long before the Taliban and Al Quada are pouring across the southern border with US military vehicles? All unmasked and no vax papers? I wish that was a joke but I'm dead serious.

Haha.. if he can find a way to tie in inflation as well.. then yes, just one crisis to deal with.
