Had a funny experience today… Let me set it up. In my apartment, my next door neighbors back closet is adjacent to my bedroom so I can hear everything. I’ve been noticing for the past month, the closet door will close around 11 I’ll hear 9-10 can opens inside of about 20 min, then the door will open. I know what’s going on after a few days of the same thing. He’s drinking and hiding it from his wife/girlfriend Some nights I would hear porn while he was in there. Then one night after about a month the closet door opens and his wife starts SCREAMING! “You SON a *****!” “How could you?!” Very unfortunate situation for my dude. I assume they split up because they both moved out a week later.

- Martin Newton made a few bucks from a phone card scam back in the early to mid 90's called Destiny Telecom. He had a lot of High School basketball coaches from around the state as his legs. He denied it but I was at a meeting where he tried to pitch it.

Yeah
But that dude - led us to victory at Auburn even though he was a plump fat a$$!

we luv ya Morgan!!!!

It's not what it used to be, but at it's peak it had to be one of the most unique adult streets in the country. Legit 20+ strip clubs, if you can even call them that, basically out in the middle of nowhere.
Lively Shively.

Don't know, man. It wasn't as bad as it is now, but I've been around that area for 40 years, and I don't recall a peak. Granted a lot less the last 10 years.

Peak as in # of open establishments, not in desirability or whatever. The Non-nudity rules that started whenever obviously didn’t help, although I’d guess those clubs don’t comply.

I’m still out that way a few times a month for work, it’s way down currently - literally only a few are even open or not boarded up.

In high school a group of us volunteered for something called Project Warm, where we went into low-income housing and winterized houses, essentially adding in some cheap insulation and putting plastic wrap on the windows... one of the addresses was an apartment that was on the 2nd level of a club on 7th street. We showed up late on a saturday afternoon to do the work, and quickly realized this "apartment" was just a residence for the employees. It was one of the saddest, most disgusting places i had ever seen. Suffice to say we wrapped that job up as quickly as possible and retired over to Angilo's Pizza for a few slices.

Outside of Jos. A. Bank 10 for 1 sales, where is a good place to buy a couple of good suits.

I've had zero reason to wear one the last 10 years, but now I'm finding myself being invited to events that require one.

TIA and those types of things.

-man that sucks. Hadn't been there in a year or so. He was a great man and a quality person.

^not knowing about these sort of things is the downside of not doing social media.

Hell yes, definitely get out of there before those girls start showing their yucky breast and vaginas.
Close call for sure.

Sneakers with suits drive me crazy and I don't usually care what other people wear, but why do that? It looks terrible, like I care to dress nice but not enough to finish the outfit...

Meh, dress well enough to not look like a slob but feel comfortable. I hate dress shoes, never wore well with my feet, high arches and all.
Next time I wear a suit will be when I walk my kid down the aisle, otherwise blazer, slacks, and a pair of Vans. Sorry, not sorry.

-First trip to Commonwealth was a little sad without backwards hat dude cruising on his bike hustlin’. ✊ to people who put a lot of work into their craft. RIP, Lane

-Got tickets for Oxford. Never been there and got the W. Pops took us to a spanking in Jackson in the 80’s. Then we went back during the Mumme era. They beat our *** both times.

-Took the tour of Yankee Stadium. Topps had a suite for the group. Baseball is just boring. Derek Jeter was as cool as you would expect. But he gets paid to be. Central Park is one of my favorite things about NY.

-Card industry has slowed down some but in the words of Al McGuire. I was slinging cards before, during and will be long after the boom.

-Wear whatever you want, buy whatever watch, car, boat you want(or don’t). No material item will ever change for a second how we feel about ourselves. Its just stupid ****.
