Serial was a good listen, but I got so annoyed by the host focusing too hard on storytelling, flowery descriptions, and everyone's feelings, including her own. I wanted some real, in-depth investigative work with some kind of breakthrough or discovery. Instead I got He had big brown eyes like a cow. The Jinx did it better.
I thought Adnan did it and was a grade A bullshitter. Didn't sound like there was enough evidence to convict though.
S Town was amazing.
Mid week football lull. Can't wait to see what Scangarello meant about unleashing the speedsters this week.
Vince Marrow's interview yesterday was awesome. We got some good ones on this staff.
I've had an old '70s Honda CB500 since about 2007, and it has sat in a garage for the last 10+ years. Bout to embark on a motorcycle restoration with no experience or knowledge base. I do have an uncle and a couple cousins who are dirtbike junkies with a full-on bike shop in their garage, which is where I moved it yesterday. Phase 1 complete. Probably gonna convert to a cafe racer. Obsessed with that look.

-Adjusting to living back in Gtwon/Lex has been cool. Still don't get how white people are, legs especially. Just strange pools aren't a bigger deal, it's just home pools it seems that people go to. Be awesome to have some nicer pools that people could go to besides country clubs. At least the folks live on the lake but it's not like there are single gals just floating by.

I enjoy a good visor. Preferably the high crown variety. Helps cover up my ridiculous hairline (it’s not receding so much as it’s just a very deep widows peak). I don’t look good in it, but I do enjoy the way it feels.
I’ve seen a lot of outrage online over the black little mermaid. Not outrage from racist white people, just outrage from people being mad at racist white people about the black little mermaid. That’s also a topic that doesn’t exist in real life. Not one time have I even heard anyone speak about the black little mermaid. Absolutely nobody cares either way, imo.
I’ll tell you something that does offend me, a bowl of grilled chicken and salsa at Qdoba costing me $18!!!! We need to be talking about THAT. I mean what the hell???
my daughter has always been my hardest child. Since birth. Everyone that always said little girls were the easiest hasn’t met my little princess. I think kids are all just different. There’s another myth out there that your second born is a trouble maker never panned out for us either. My second born is probably my best behaved. He’s also a great athlete, handsome as a fox and has a girlfriend on the cheerleading team. Life is going well for him. Turns the big 1-1 on Friday. I remember posting in this thread while at one of my wife’s appointments when she was pregnant with him. Time sure does fly.
i don’t drink sodas but I will indulge in a large coke from the Palomar McDonald’s on my drive home everyday.

Nah, I canned them. Miss the fball team boys for sure and loved that part of the job but 80+ hours/week and worked 7 days/week...nah man, wasn't in the description, that's crazy talk.
Plus, there was NOTHING in Columbia or within an hour, closest "city" is BG and BG is terrible. It's like one big prolonged Bucee's or something on Scottsville road, just a glorified Truck Stop with fast food and mediocre hotels.

Went to a conference in Kansas City. The airport here is easily the shittiest I have ever seen. I can’t fathom one being worse. Working here 100% leads to suicide.
Thus far, House of the Dragon is absolute fire and on par with Game of Thrones at its best, imo.
The terminal I’m in has two food options - a tiny grab-and-go market and the “KC Grill,” which I’m pretty sure was built when the Royals won the World Series in ‘85 and hasn’t been updated since. This is the “mall that white people used to go to” of airports.

Visited the new LaGuardia Labor Day- the delta terminal - and thought we arrived in the wrong airport. I also kept talking about and building up how ****** LaGuardia was going to be to my wife before we landed. Braced her to basically arrive in a homeless shelter. BOY DID I HAVE EGG ON MY FACE!
Never watched GoT as I didn’t have 200 hours to catch up and apparently the ending sucked. There’s a new series on Hulu with Steve Carrel called The Prisoner that’s been fantastic, however. Highly recommend.
