Sally’s Apizza (Stamford CT) yesterday. took a bit for pie to come out, but was fantastic. Top5, but you needed to blast the garlic and parm to get it there. Only 35 minutes away, so we’ll be back.
Saw your post on Playland, a staple of my youth. Grandma, who lived on Shippan in Stamford, would load 3-4 grandkids in the back of her caddy and off we went. Pre-casinos, used to take the older ones to Atlantic City.

Don't sleep on the original Colony Pizza in Stamford. Chris Drury, NY Ranger GM, and his buddies bought the rights to franchise. They have some very successful locations but I believe owners retained Stamford location.

I can stream SEC + through the ESPN app, which I have access to through my AT&T U-verse subscription.

I went to the game and had no way to record the game. I’ve been wanting to watch the replay but it’s not available.

Long story short, if you’re a college sports ball and streaming is your primary way to watch television it’s totally inconvenient and generally sucks compared to cable television.
I watched the replay yesterday on the ESPN app. Did you try asking one of your kids to bring it up for you?

Labor Day Randos

-Couldn’t place a bet on Caesar’s app because I was in the state of KY. SMH

-Video boards are a nice improvement. Should announce the score when UL is losing. Should be a lot this year. Best atmosphere for a MAC opponent I’ve seen.

-The Big Blue Berlin Wall needs some help.

-Expect more players out of Tennessee, Pennsylvania and Michigan. Brown and Walker late last year wasn’t a fluke.

-We would get more out of a loss in a Chick- Fil- A kickoff type game than a win over Miami of Ohio nationally. A win would be huge for us. The whole country is watching. We have to be willing to take some chances if we want to take the next step. We would have beat either of those teams last night. We play in the SEC is a pussified argument. We aren’t trying to get bowl eligible. We’re trying to be relevant on the national stage.

Having now lived in Columbia and played at Barbourville I guess I had legitimately no idea how many people in KY live in no nothing towns with nothing whatsoever to do and an hour plus to a real interstate or city. It’s pretty wild honestly. It appears everyone from 18-40 abandoned them the second they can, or just have kids and eat all the food never traveling outside their county. Everything is closed in the weekends and most places by 9p every day.

Just really eye-opening after living in Lex/Lou and KW for the majority of my life.

“why would you wear pink/neon green shoes or flip flops?”

“who wears shorts like that”

“never seen a 40 year old look like that”

“you don’t want kids? What will you do the rest of your life?”

Just wild to me these people haven’t seen much of anything besides maybe a BIG jaunt up to Bowling Green or **GASP** Louisville for the day.

It’s somewhat sad and also refreshing just seeing them comfortable where they live and not needing to go explore anything else. Just content where they are.

Precisely! Hank the Ho doesn't get it, as usual.

We haven't lost an OOC game in like 5 years. Agree that we could probably afford to take a risk or two for some national exposure. Just like a shooter who was 4/4 from 3. Shoulda shot more.

Everyone points at Wohlabaugh but the interior line was dreadful. Really didn't expect to see Eli Cox look so bad either. Obviously would like Rodriguez back asap but I'm not sure how much it would help if the OL puts in a performance like that again, though he is significantly better in protection than Smoke or McClain. Smoke just isn't a feature back... he is a nice changeup after we've worn down a defensive line and CRod needs a breather but he can't get more than 15 snaps. Wright is the future at rb and needs to get as many snaps as possible.

That was actually one of our better early season performances against a non-conf opponent in Stoops tenure. I mean we almost lost to gd Chattanooga last year. Struggled against Toledo in 19 and CMU in 18.

Only issue with ESPN+ is their damn yardage and down tracker wasn't right all night.

Back spasms all day yesterday and could barely get out of bed. Four year old jumped off the couch and onto my back when I wasn't paying attention and now I'm walking around like I'm 90 years old. Had I known I'd have two boys back to back and my living room would double as a wrestling mat, I probably would have decided to have kids when I was in my 20s.

Firmly against anything to do with IU. F that whole town, Indianapolis included. Just do a solid H&H rotation... West Virginia, UNC, VT, NCST, GT.

Only real gripe I have with the playoff is it should be 16 teams. I mean its going to get there after a few years anyway so might as well start it that way. Think it'd also be pretty solid to see an NIT style 2nd tournament for those that don't get in and kill off all the other ****** little bowls still remaining. Maybe attach some NIL money to it or something to keep players from sitting out. Basically anything for more football I'm down with.

Yeah we took a BIG step back on the oline. But we can’t discount we have a more experienced QB, better special teams by a mile with the kick/punt returns, better WR’s and TE’s (as a group). We covered the spread with ease missing several quality players.

The dream of Atlanta is alive and well.

-I prefer the post season matchup, to the early season, and it's definitely out the window when we go to 9 SEC games.

-We went to Bloomington a few times for football games. That place is terrible. I'm sure the campus is great but the football scene was worse than local High School games. No interest in renewing that football series.

-Kelly is a good coach but that match seems like it'll be oil and water. He belongs somewhere smug.

-Tailgate has firmly shifted to a roving band of miscreants ages 5-7. They're equally as destructive as the WC was circa 2005-2010. Ornery little *****.

-Little dude is a cocky bastard. Landed him without devices for the last 3 weeks.

-Speaking of little man, he had 38k steps Saturday. Per google, for an adult, that's like 14-15 miles. That sounds exhausting.

My daughter’s birthday is on the day of the UT game this year. She wants to go down there for the game as her “present.” So . . . anyone have good recs on what area to stay in that is safe, clean, and close? I haven’t been to that hellhole since ‘98.

Found it on my smart tv bc it automatically updated the ESPN app that offered the SEC Network + channel.

The tv in my basement uses a firestick and it hadn’t updated the ESPN app.

I don’t have roots there actually just visited with a fball road game. Interesting though, it reminded me of Ceredo-Kenova where my gma lives in WV.

“aggressive brand of agape love” I mean, Shakespeare has nothing on this guy 😆

Saw a meme this morning from a friend who lives way tf down the bayou. It was a pic of Brian Kelly that said “this guy pronounces the ‘C’ in ‘LeBlanc.’”

Just a solid reminder of what an extremely unique culture these real Cajuns have down here.

For reference, they would say that: “Luh-blon.”

Coach O really was the perfect coach for them as long as he stayed away for screwing boosters wives and other strange that he brought to practices plus hired A+ assistants who kept him as far away from actual game planning and real coaching as possible.

I love Les, one of my favorite college coaches.

He was 114-34 w/ a natty at LSU but just not quite good enough. Insane

Lots of OL shuffling on the depth chart this week. No Jordan Wright. No Ramon Jefferson. Sucks.

Gonna be without our top 2 RB against UF.

What other SEC power, not that we are, would sit their schools possible all time leading RB in a game of this magnitude, on the road?

Maybe the administration is just going to keep it quiet since it involved a student athlete and branch of the University. Seems like he's going to serve his suspension then just come back without much information.

thats also the ONLY state whos judicial/legal system is NOT based on English Common Law -- it's somehow founded on French standards

I cant tell you EXACTLY what the difference is but every legal rep i worked with on DoD contracts always insisted that LA never be
accepted as an optional location for legal review or settlement w/suppliers

Had a brother that lived in Deritter for a spell

Honestly - i love me some boudan (sp?) and respect the cajun-man

but that state seems like hell on earth as residential consideration

But i was wrong about eggnog, pistachios & ginger girls so ---

We’ve got way too many big swinging dicks in here to just be kept in the dark. This is outrageous. Spill the beans, UKAA.
The players were working for UK Healthcare. Turning in time but not doing actual work or even showing up. The supervisor that was allowing it left, new supervisor takes over and reports situation to the administration. I think this is a Capilouto decision, or maybe the student review board. Seems like the consensus I've heard is 3 games for the guys that had the fugazi jobs, and 1 game for the two guys that got DUI's over the summer.

Don’t forget Jordan Wright!

Are VIP K-Club people annoyed about whatever the hell is going on here? I know BJW doesn’t deserve ****, or beer, but I know some people in here must know what’s going on.

The fact we just lost half our RB room is mora than enough reason to reinstate C-Rod. Why isn’t Stoops going public with it?

And when did Jordan Wright become more than 1 game?
