FWIW thats my favorite BBdk post since mugshots were being circulated and snackdowns were proclaimed

YES - to the flea flicker satisfaction -
Some enterprising UK fan created a video of all the UK football wins over S Carolina since 2012 -- and not only is the entire pastiche deeply enjoyable --- theres.a pu$$y
perfect flea flicker executed by the Cats in there as well

Not the same vibe - but a well run option offensive scheme in football CAN be enjoyable to watch -- i know that doesn't turn everyone on equally but it IS fun seeing a Georgia Tech or Navy team befuddle someone like -- ah hell - someone like Louisville ...

hahahhaha - Im surely LESS of a man for enjoying that UL football family disaster post above.
You know i used to LIKE the old school D Crum
80s basketball teams - always appreciated their
style and interchangeable athleticism ....

THEN I met the first ever Louisville fans that entered my life. - ironically in Tucson -- i remember my man DA telling me years ago that the ONLY reason i liked anything Louisville --- was because i never was subjected to living/working around their .,..people

and now i truly get it

FK Louisville
Theyre now on the level of the water head miscreants in Middlesboro who were spray painting "WEW" in various alleys

i assumed the graffiti meant "WOOO!!" like - im having a GOOD time right now

but No -- the "WEW" was apparently the calling card of Middlesboros own WEST END WARRIORS .....a gang surely destined to erase both Frankfort and the Corn Bread boys fm the criminal underworld in no time....

THATS the level of unintentional humor, sadness, and pathetic behavior that Louisville exudes -- ALL while consistently maintaining a cramped ugly unsafe campus with a metric **** TON of street hard white bro rappers
PS a safety in football is EXTREMELY satisfying

I'd much rather watch that game than watch us play Youngstown and northern Iliinois back to back. And I agree with WV

Lmao. Kyrgios is basically “street ball” tennis guy from wherever Rucker Park tennis is.

Just throws a point in the US OPEN vs #1 for funsies.

Then proceeds to smoke the set barring a total meltdown. 🔥

Big fan.

Went to so many UK-IU games couldn’t remember not going to one since I was very young. Was one hell of a rivalry but that’s all in the past. I like being able to keep telling them they’re not worthy on the daily. Status Quo,

McElroy has nailed this let them score take. The correct take 99.9% of the time.

And just as I post that...FUMBBBBLLLLE.

Indiana Basketball/Football

Put me down for both in perpetuity.

I hear & respect the dissenting opinions on that (they don’t deserve us blahblah, can only hurt us, etc)

… just vehemently disagree as a FAN!

One of my. brothers regularly preaches this

I just keep getting stroke like *** spasms when i recall the 3-0 pillow fight our girls had with theirs

disgraced the sport

a d indiana is a damn BLAND rival
without Bobby Knight on the court that rival suddenly turns into something of a Chain Smoking Black Vekvet Artifact collecting Lotto Whiz type of double wide distant cousin

WTF Indiana ??

Aside fm those two insanely cute young and very GIVING indiana lasses i once met in sarasota - they were classy

Rest of that ho-ha state?
Fkking barns, tornados, popcorn museums and beige angst

Anywho

They obviously jinxed the kicker by mentioning him having a kick blocked and this being his first college game.

In college football history has a team ever “let a team score” and go up 14 and find a way to win. I would predict it’s never happened in the history of the sport.
Probably not but it is the only way to get the ball back for certain and have a chance.

You hear it a lot more when teams are tied and the other team is about to score late in the game. Not much difference in going down 2 scores when it looks inevitable.

IU football series was peculiar. Dad took us to a few of them in Bloomington, but I don't remember it ever being a big deal. Maybe others had different experiences, but I don't have much for it.

That said, I'm open to a Big Ten home and home sometime soon. Wisconsin. Penn State. Ohio State. Be fun.

I always wanted us to play LSU or Arkansas if we attained a spot in the SEC CG

And of COURSE - you know that would. = "The SEC s down" line of rhetoric fm the media jackals

I'd really like to ditch the damn "AA" teams for good
Pencil in a small Ky school each year for recruiting and revenue sharing
I LIKE having one MAC school on there - they have some solid teams in fertile recruiting grounds

But certainly - give me a home/home with someone bigger now
And I don't mean Notre Dame --- hasn't that idea lost its luster?

Boutte seemed pissed off the whole game. Other kid muffed both punts. Maybe they are getting threats but it could also be Kelly.

Boutte is a fantastic WR but it was clear his head was not in that game. Would not be surprised if he goes the Chase route and just takes the rest of the season off to prep for the NFL.

I was more envisioning UK in one of these opening weekend kickoff games sometime. Like maybe Mich St/Mich in Indy one year or FSU/Miami in Atlanta. Would be pretty dope.

Or we could just play WKU in Nashville again. Great for the state 🤮

Mumme let Syracuse score but it was still a 1 score game after their 2-pt conversion failed. We still lost.

Mumme was also an awful head coach. Very innovative offensive mind for the time… but a truly atrocious head coach.

That Tim Couch story about his run-in with Gerry DiNardo cracks me up every time I think about it. DiNardo made some comments about Mumme not taking the game of football seriously, so when we met up with LSU, he had one of the managers go buy him a huge chili dog with everything on it. During the pregame coach meet up at midfield, Mumme’s talking to DiNardo while eating this ridiculous dog.😂

Guess who won?

LSU was pretty ****** for a few years w/DiNardo when Mumme teams beat them. That win down there in DV though was pretty sweet and iirc Mumme called a reverse or some crazy **** on like a 3rd n long that got us the 1st down sealed the win for us. Ballsy

Sally’s Apizza (Stamford CT) yesterday. took a bit for pie to come out, but was fantastic. Top5, but you needed to blast the garlic and parm to get it there. Only 35 minutes away, so we’ll be back.

CRod must play on Saturday. Stoops should just throw him out there. Give zero *****. #whynot

Summer’s End today 🥹.

Of all the great games & tennis this extendo-weekend, this is the best athletic performance and it ain’t close:

Few football thoughts:

We look like a new team. Whole new identity. We're used to having the big uglies dominate the trenches and an athletic playmaker or two elsewhere. Now the trenches need work (OL more than DL), but it seems like we have athletes flying all over the field.

Afari, Key and Brown are already stars. Amazing.

Everyone is talking up Deone Walker, but I'll admit I'm not well-versed on the nuances of line play to know what was mind blowing. Made a couple nice plays, though. One stood out to me, where he was blocked by the LT, and the RB tried to run right past the two while they were engaged, but Walker reached out from his blocked position and was strong enough to stop the RB in his tracks with an extended arm. Impressive for anyone, even more so for a true freshman.

I've seen/heard a few breakdowns on the OL play that suggest the errors were mental. I think that's good (?) as they should be fixable.

Levis was sharp when he was sharp. I think he's just gonna be a guy that has mental lapses a few times a game, but looks like RoboCop Tom Brady otherwise.

Defense looked very good to me, with the exception of the soft zone that Brad White loves. It got exposed on Drive 1. Lots of SEC QBs will love going up against that. Need to be aggressive, IMO. We have the athletes.

I think Valentine has potential, but maybe he just needs to hit the weight room? He's agile, fast, long and seems to be able to stick with any WR, but he is a little on the weak side still. Missed a sack. Gets too many PIs called, probably due to playing overly aggressive to compensate for a lack of strength/size. At least one of those PIs was complete trash, though.

CRod needs to return with a quickness.

Ceiling still high.

ESPN+/SEC+ is awful and deserves to die. Least elegant streaming service out there.

I can stream SEC + through the ESPN app, which I have access to through my AT&T U-verse subscription.

I went to the game and had no way to record the game. I’ve been wanting to watch the replay but it’s not available.

Long story short, if you’re a college sports ball and streaming is your primary way to watch television it’s totally inconvenient and generally sucks compared to cable television.

If Rodriguez isn't back this weekend, Levis is going to have to become the third down/short yardage back.

Thought Smoke was fine running the ball, but just tip your hand and pull him TF out any time we've got more than a three step drop.

The replay is available on the ESPN app /SEC+ if you go to on demand.
