-brown ran 125 or so yards in 13 seconds while people were trying to tackle him. Giddy up.

-Wright murked a LB on a blitz pick up...led to a big throw and catch by #9.

^this is why he should be our #1 til c-rod comes back. Appreciate smoke, but he whiffed on a couple of blocks...and that exasperated the o-line issues.

-first time in a zillion years with no rushing TD (run blocking bothered me)...offset by 3 separate players receiving TD's.

UF gave up 230 yards rushing on 39 carries so I am confident we’ll be fine going into the swamp.

Happy to get that first game out of the way with a simplified game plan and no injuries.

BIG gambol winner for week 1 as UF was my big bet and went 3/4. I’m sure I’ll throw money at LSU by game time just to create interest.

Stoops should just play Rodriguez. Enough of the ********.
I was thinking last night what would happen if Stoops just played him at UF and did the rest of his suspension after that. Capilouto and Barnhart wouldn't be able to do much because the fans would revolt.

Doubt I'd have the balls to pull that move, but he might have enough goodwill built up with the fans to pull it off.

Pretty certain most SEC coach’s would play Crod and dare the administration to react.

What happened to Keaton Upshaw? Before his injury he was poised to be a major part of the offense and potential NFL TE. Now he’s 3rd or 4th string and basically an afterthought this year.

Lol. I was saying the exact same thing.

3 games is 3 games. Nobody says it has to be consecutive, right?

Most SEC administrators would quietly expect the coach to cherry pick the games the suspension is served.

Oline is an issue but think Scang will open the playbook and hide their issues a bit until they get experience. Wright flashed last season and looked good yesterday. Needs to be their workhorse until CRod is back. Levis puts on his Cape when the lights are the brightest. He will show out in Gainesville and these Freshman are dawgs who will embrace the atmosphere down there. Keep the TO’s to a min and make Richardson become a passer. Do those 2 things and I like KY’s chances.

* We knew the left side of the Oline / pass blocking would be an issue and so while concerning, isn't surprising. Did expect us to get more push in the trenches. Jefferson looked poised to ride shotgun upon Rodriguez's return. Need him back in the fold ASAP. Any word yet on what dinged him?

* Defense adjusted after the first drive. Wasn’t long ago a little skit-skat QB like Gabbert would have us seething all game as we unsuccessfully chased him like a barnyard chicken.

Also, dude didn’t know what planet he was on after Saunders did a perfectly legal bellyflop late in the 4th.

* Each game is its own unique one-off story. Some trends are set and some performances to take issue over, but projecting next weekend / the season off week 1 is a fools errand. Stoops & Scangarello kept their powder dry knowing where we’re headed. Banking on plenty of new looks in the swamp.

* Slight Levis critique - perfect your touch. He fired darts at time when a lob was needed. Under three Robinson early in the first when he had running room and just needed to a frisbee dog type toss. Counted two behind or low to our TE’a who aren’t the surest of hands, one for a TD in the 2nd.

That said, dropped some dimes and considering what little time and breakdowns in protection, love what we saw.

* Finally met the infamous Brady. Great guy, impressive story and cool to see the experiences he can provide to his kiddos.

* Tailgate, as always, was a hit. Now that the banner has been resurrected just need it’s Dr. Frankenstein creator @Beavis606 to rise from the ashes as well.

* Still haven’t had my fill on Syracuse : Denner girlfriend beating analogies.

We notched 50 yards rushing on 26 attempts so I am confident I have no clue what point you’re making.
I’m aware you don’t. It’s ok bud I’m sure our running game is just screwed and we won’t get better as the season goes on.

Seems realistic.

Fully expect us to turn the light on next week and thump the gators in what should be an upset when the new rankings come out.

Currently sitting solo at a Tiki Bar pounding ice cold Big Wave “domestos” eating clams in Rye Playland. Wife and junior riding amusements.

eff that… I watched for 4-5 rides then punted. Buffet-/JT blasting by some acoustic guitar nerd.

this place and real estate is beautiful. Where BIG (Hanks) was filmed.

lots of talent. Shocked.

Yanks on Tube. Pretty happy really.

Frickin EBN Fireworks Night in NKY/Cincinnati- the reddest day of the year in these parts. You couldn’t pay me to stay in Newport tonight.

How has Louisville's stock dropped? Consider: Louisville players launched the "Derby City NIL Club" football collective two Saturdays ago with the published goal of raising $50,000 per month. As of Sunday morning, the new goal is $2,500 per month, with $455 pledged. That's not even enough money for a ride home.

😂😅🤣

Arrived at tailgate 1:30pm, Tony had G on leaf/berry blowing duties:

Hey buddy, how you been?

G: not good, but probably better than you!

Ha, I’m always good little man. Great to see you.

G: Your mom is good!

Lmao. Wanted nothing to do with my usual hug either. 😥

Not sure there is a more satisfying play in SPORTS than a well-executed flea flicker.

Worship.

Hook &’ladder and other desperation type plays are equally dope, but also flukey.

Back door cuts (no look+) sick double plays, a nasty corner kick/assist, between the legs return volley are some other standouts. Silky flop shot. Bicycle wreck.

Surely forgetting several. FG/punt fakes up there, too.

It's way past time for us to start playing a marquee non-conference game. Just bring back the Indiana game if nothing else
