You must not understand NFL contracts, franchise tag or transition tags.

He will be a giant for 2 more years AT LEAST unless someone blows them away with a trade offer.
For an entrepreneur, you don't understand NFL economics. He is not getting a franchise tag. You are higher than Wyvernn on a UFO hunt if you think he'll get either of those offers, franchise or otherwise. RB's are disposable.

This years tag on a RB is 9.2M. Barkley had a 7.4M 5th year option picked up this year.

They avoided having the same issue with Jones at the same time for a reason because the QB tag is 20M.

I guess I ruled out Barkley holding out as an option, but he doesn’t seem the type.

Edit: at 9.2M tag, he’d only be the 10th highest paid RB. They’ll take that chance in case he produces like he “should” and increases his trade value.

For a hardcore pacifist Buddhist, MCA’s verses on “Three Minute Rule” and “Professor Booty” were pretty good.

I think I will focus my pick 5 on the "All Stakes All Dirt Pick 5" for Saturday.

My top selections for each race:

Race 6
2 Shared Sense
7 South Bend
4 Dream Shake
11 Necker Island

Race 7
6 Tejano Twist (this potential long shot almost ran down Epicenter at FairGrounds back in December. I will take my shot.)
1 Major General
3 Pappacap
5 Jack Christopher (even though I might fade him)

Race 8
5 Obligatory
2 Just One Time
*NOTE: The favorite just scratched (1 Lady Rocket)

Race 10
3 Jackie's Warrior (might key this horse)
8 Cezanne
I am trying to talk myself into play the 2 Long Range Toddy at 30/1

DERBY
12 Taiba
6 Messier
15 White Abbario
10 Zandon
3 Epicenter

And if I want to do other pick 3/4/5's with Races 9 and 11:

Race 9
8 Royal Spirit
11 Dowagiac Chief
9 Stolen Base

Race 11
1 Ivar
4 Tribhuvan

I have no idea what or why this Amber Heard/Johnny Depp trial is going on but apparently Amber Heard is lifting some of her testimony from movie lines:

The Reds have less wins this year than the Bengals, which has already been covered, but also less wins than FCC, a middling MLS team that’s played 10 games.

- May be I’m biased, but Dillon Brooks doesn’t deserve another game suspension for that hit. Sure the kid broke his arm on the fall, but if you are an athlete at any level past HS you know not to catch yourself with your arms/hands.

- Ohtani is just an insane talent, and bless the Angels organization for letting him pitch and play the field. Not sure why after HS they stop this as the best pitcher is usually also one of if not the best fielder on the team too.

- No NBA games sucks! Stagger that better.

Outside of cashing in on a Thunder Gulch trifecta, my favorite Derby memory is when a week before Derby -I was just doing yard work and a Pegasus courtesy Caddy slowly rolls up in front of my Highlands house and pulls over.

A well-dressed, elderly couple poured out of the car and approached me. They introduced themselves but I didn’t recognize their name. The woman lived in my house 50 years ago and made an odd request to tour it.

Pre-baby, we had just cleaned the house so we capitulated. They both slowly walked thru as if she told stories about the place to the man and then silently paced and proved her recollection correct. My house is tiny, but a jewel box.

Cracked open a couple beers and they sat and talked with us for about 2 innings of the Yankee game (MLB package). Their accent was South Carolina regal southern. Awesome folks.

Dude handed me his card… green and yellow silks on it. Dude was Cot Campbell of Dogwood Stables. That year he had two horses entered I think… one was Trippi.

He innovated the horse race industry by selling shares of horses - bringing it to a more democratic tangible level of horse ownership.

In any case, they sent us flowers the following Derby.

Cot was a legend. He died about a year or so ago. But he did start the syndication of race horses, making it affordable for the average guy to own a piece.
I've read his books and they are really good. Rascals and Racehorses is a light read that anyone would enjoy. Highly recommend.
