The enthusiasm most of you have for wallowing in misery and stirring up **** is just beyond me. No wonder why BBdK and Chauncey don’t post here anymore.

When on deck and the game was on the line I was always privately pulling for the kid at bat to strike out/ground out/fly out before I had to and possibly "lose" the game myself.
F that. I’d rather get a chance at the plate. Same for pitching. Now playing the field, that was a completely different story. I was praying to God they wouldn’t hit the ball to me in a close game.

I don’t think Cal is as bad as negative fan makes him out to be, but I think he lost a recruiting edge when Wes took a FO job with the Knicks.

That said, I don’t understand how the 2017 team was allowed to openly run and gun but then ever since has been a struggle. Don’t want to hear about the talent gap, we’ve had capable players doing more in the NBA since.

If Oscar comes back that’s changing things for us. Duke can have the one and done mantra, they ain’t winning a thing with it either.

Wheeler, Wallace, Frederick, Toppin, Oscar

Weird collection there.

Well, Cal might not be as bad as we make him out to be....but his results are possibly worse. So, f him the person, and his entire ****.

I mean, look at the results. Is this Tubby, Billy G......or HOFCJVC? The man is BAD.

Also I’ll add that while the Sharpe mess is infuriating to some, it’s those kind of things that Cal does that make “his guys” love him.

I have no doubt at all the fight he helped Oscar fight for his mom weighs on Oscars mind to stay another year.

It isn’t easy to just leave people that go out of their way like that, but Sharpes deal is a no brainer.

Krazy, you're stuck in 2014. I don't get the sense "his guys" love his old ***. Heck, he doesn't even get "his guys" anymore. Those lotto picks are going elsewhere, probably for a few different reasons, and Cal being an old, uncool loser is a huge part of that.

Why in the piss are we even talking about basketball. We gotta heal, and Mark Stoops is how we heal. LFG, man.

I ordered the Wynn gummies too, and got them the week of the SEC tournament. I explained to my wife I had ordered them as a stress reliever. I had a gummy that Friday when we played Vandy and Saturday when we lost to UT along with a couple of drinks. It was Enjoy Euphoria and it was a pleasant experience and I slept really well both nights.

My wife is not someone who drinks or takes anything stronger than an aspirin for pain. Not because of any moral code but because she gets really ill. Anyway, later that week she was having a rough day and after picking my son up from school and before starting dinner, she decided to take this natural, stress relieving gummy. It was not the erotic wonder world that Wynn promised.

About 5 pm as I'm wrapping up my work day, I get a frantic call. "WTF IS IN THOSE GUMMIES?!? I'm trying to talk her down, but she saying she can barely move, she has vomited on the bed and she can't lift her head. She was sick until well into the next day.
What’s the name of these magic gummy pills?

This should make Cal's guys hate him though. It'd be one thing if Sharpe played in those few games some spot minutes to alleviate the strain of losing Wheeler & Washington. Instead, he ran Grady into the ground and then, seemingly, rushed Washington back into big minutes when he clearly wasn't 100%. If I'm Tyty's dad, that's some ********.

* I mean, how do you even define/categorize Gilbert Gottfried's talent? Just a completely unique character. A somewhat effeminate, super Jewy, incredibly crass/vulgar, tiny little man with a whiny shrill of a voice. He's been doing comedy for > 50 years. Such a loveable guy and a huge loss.

* No doubt > No diggity.

It's close, but I'm sticking to my guns here.

* Anyone else really uncomfortable with this Zelensky dude becoming a pseudo-celebrity? Guy has a seriously great publicist. Doing a live satellite remote for the Grammy's. Nice long sit down with 60 Minutes.

Probably need to get back to war, imho.

* Serious question --> what is a woman?

I've seen an awful lot of criticism, but not legit responses to the loaded, rhetorical question.

* Not sure a Drag Brunch would be the angle I'd take if I owned a sports bar, but the places do that this in New Orleans (mostly very hipster/alphabet friendly) are absolutely packed. Very hard to get reservations. Booked months in advance.

* The Nick Lodolo Show starts today. Really think this guy is going to be special.

(currently in a rain delay)

* I'm nervous about all of our guys, because college basketball.

Wheeler, Toppin, Brooks. All 3 of them could easily go pro, and it's not like they've got any legit NIL money waiting on them to return. So I'm going to be grumpy and hateful and wallow in my misery and send mean texts to wcc every single day until the NBA draft and he can get pumped.

* The CDC just extended the mask mandate on planes for 2 more weeks. Lol. That ought to fix it.

* It's almost a guarantee we face Dontaie Allen and WKU at some point and he goes off on us.....right?

* If I had a Spirit Animal, it may be Dave Smith. Rando that Rogan has on pretty regularly. Stand up comic and libertarian pundit, so his interview is 3+ hours of him ranting that....

- the media is lying to you
- the politicians are lying to you
- the corporations are lying to you

....and you're being F'd over, taken advantage of, and screwed out of $$$.

I like that guy a lot.

* I guess I've urinated on myself during races, but 2 specific types of occasions:

1> i'll pee when walking, and inevitably dribble on myself pretty heavily
2> if it's just absolutely pouring rain, just a total gullywasher, i'll just do my business. it's like going in the shower

That's my list.

* Note: if you ever get one of those customer service satisfaction surveys, just give all 5s/totally agree/very likelys. As a recovering bank employee, you wouldn't believe how important those silly *** things were.

well, pti. you're top 5 in the country in lending, profit, deposits, new accounts, investment revenue, growth, money market balances, cross-selling, business banking, and referrals......but you're last survey score was only a 4.8 out of 5. Doesn't look like you're ready for a promotion, you won't be getting a raise, and we may have to move you to the branch in the Dixie Highway Save-A-Lot. We really need to get you some more training on that.

🤮🤮🤮

* Finally got my in for a backstage hangout sesh with Mannie Fresh, and BBdK can't go. My clients/buds are putting on a 5th-o de Mayo party and he's the main act. Evidently there's a horse race that weekend or something. Ha. Freaking stupid priorities, man. Any of you busters that wanna go just holla at ya boy.

Gator boots.

Zelensky will be great until they figure he's not.

You can tell how great a comedian is when your favorite comedians praise him. Won't be many Dane Cook well-wishers other than "he did his thing and it appealed to the masses."

Frederick, obviously, the wildcard. Will he stay healthy?

Day drinking and gummies.

I'll be waiting for UKO to tell him, UNC media, fans, etc how dumb & Selfish Huber/UNC are for letting him do (or even CONSIDER) coming back...like the 17 tweets he's reeled off about Oscar in the last few weeks over the exact same scenario.

Pyscho Clown.
We will beat their *** again if we play next year.

A school like WKU is where Dontaie Allen belongs and he won't be a standout there. Middle of the road, mid-major talent, IMO.

I think Heupel will tank in year 2. That high powered offense is gimmicky and everyone will catch on. Hell, most teams caught on by halftime of their game against it last year. Brad White didn't slow it down any, but that was because of secondary issues.

Shane Beamer just sounds like a dumb guy to me, so I think the Gamecocks tank too. Plus Rattler is an ******* cancer by all accounts. The OU fans I know hated him from the get-go, despite the national hype he got.

Not news, but the secondary has to be fixed with a quickness via the portal. Much more important than OT. I think we'll be fine there. Lots of faith in the Big Blue Wall over here.

Finished S2 of Righteous Gemstones last night. Judy is so over the top and and her schtick is nothing innovative, but damn if I don't belly laugh out loud about 3 times per episode because of something she spouts off.

I've tilted back to Sharpe could conceivably come back this morning. It won't last.

What's weird about it?

You have the returning NPOY at center, an athletic 4 that we've all wanted to get more minutes backed up by a top 10 incoming freshman, a proven veteran shooter and defender who happens to be a Kentucky kid at one of the 3 guard spots, a top 5 incoming freshman at another and the SEC assist leader the last two years at point. I would consider that to be an ideal college lineup.

^ + a few big time portal additions, which is near certainty.

As good as you're gonna get in 2022 as far as a mix of Young, Old, and New (old).

Cal will be on a scorching seat with them, as he should be -- but, as far as our lineup if all the above unfolds...I'm very good with it assuming we add more shooting/guards, which I can't imagine we won't.

All 3 are capable, just not consistent. An offseason of hard work should continue to improve that, even though I'm sure most on here don't think that's possible.
You’re correct. That’s the whole reason for Oscars return… to transform a la PJ.

that said, ifs and buts.

This is the formula for the future, if it's sustainable. Grab 2-3 year transfers, mix with some elite recruits, and start to get a little continuity. Losing 6+ guys every year has to stop.

1- like you said it’s an idea college lineup, and I’m not used to that in the Cal era.

2- Wheeler a 5th yr UGA transfer, Frederick a 5th year Iowa transfer, Oscar a 5th year WVU transfer, Toppin transferred from Rhode Island, and Wallace a FR.

I don’t mean weird as in they don’t fit, but more so in how they’ve come together to make “our” team.

I’d be happy with that five and a few guys off the bench.

-absofuckinglutely. It's bizarre. Propaganda during war is weird...propaganda during war in the age of instant info/ social media is downright unsettling*.

*I don't use that word lightly. I'm pretty unflappable/a stoic by nature...this **** is *off* somehow.
