I have no idea the truth of what happened with Flores. I do know, especially after the St Louis relocation lawsuit, that the NFL will do nearly anything to keep their owners from being deposed/going though discovery.
Yeah they make so much money the powers that be won’t change and they make so many other people money they won’t really ask them to.

Can't decide if I'm going to watch the Winter Olympics. On the one hand, I absolutely want to watch us curbstomp commies on their home, communally owned turf. On the other hand, it is the Winter Olympics.

Be interesting to see if there are any American athletes who do any public protests. That would be ballsy as hell to do in China, but also dangerous. Hopefully SEAL Six has Operation Kaepernick on standby in case we have to go get someone who is in danger of being disappeared.

* In retrospect, I'm an idiot for not figuring out how to make an Olympic team in some obscure sport like curling just so I could get Olympic village poon. The Summer Olympics is the clear leader on Olympic village exploits but don't sleep on the Winter Games. Nordic for the win.

* Andrew Schulz and Tom Segura are the rare comics who are hilarious on stage and can put out a listenable podcast. Too many comics started podcasts during the pandemic and they are largely awful.

* Looking forward to a gentlemanly ***-kicking of Vandy in front of a sparse crowd who is avoiding the ice. I doubt Sharpe plays and that should end that discussion for the year.

We need a game to rest Sahvir and TyTy. This three week stretch is brutal.

- Beyond shocked that the Tech/Texas game last night went off without incident re: Beard's return. It was an absolute snake pit leading up to it. Makes UT fans look even worse for how they acted when Lane came to town. Bunch of buffoons.

- The biggest difference in that game last night...you could see Tech's blueprint not only in how Adams built that roster (length and athleticism at every position), but also in terms of style (drive and kick, be aggressive in the passing lanes). Texas looked like their team had been put together two hours before the game. I never had any real idea of what they were trying to do. And Askew played way too many minutes for a team trying to knock off a ranked opponent in front of a hostile crowd. I still think Beard is a good coach, but this season has shown that he has a long way to go in terms of learning how to build a roster (and a TEAM) on the fly.

- Buzz Williams hasn't won a single game since I hyped him in GYERO. Five straight losses, including a double-digit home loss to South Carolina. Woof. #LlamaEffect

- That whistle against UL last night was BRUTAL. Warms my heart.

- Always interested in seeing the social media graphics that college football programs use to announce their signees on NSD. Gotta imagine it has to be kinda stressful for the millennials who are tasked with that sort of thing, making sure that it not only look cool, but also doesn't inadvertently copy another program's. For a guy who doesn't even know how to use PowerPoint, I'm especially impressed.

- This ridiculous two-week break between the conference title games and the Super Bowl means that Max, buddy, you need to pace yourself. We're still 11 days away. Don't waste all your Burrow/Chase analogies now, or else you'll be stuck with nothing but David Klingler/Big Daddy Wilkinson references for the back half of next week.

It beats "Cleveland Guardians"....but not by much.

At least they went with a different font. Cleveland just photoshopped "Guard" over "Ind".

-UK/Kansas drew 3 million viewers. UK/UGA in October drew 6.37 million. No real editorial from me, but always a bit mind blowing.

-Honestly, catching a bad new mascot for your favorite team has to be the worst. Like, if Wildcats was ever deemed offensive and the insipid bastards in Lexington announced we were now the Thoroughbreds or some stupid Central Kentucky ******** I'd really struggle, man. (Assuming this Secretariat nightmare will one day end.)

-Hot damn, Cardinal basketball is BACK. Just dropped their 3rd straight at home to a dickless UNC team in front of about 8,000 lost souls. I can feel the momentum. Juice, as Bozich calls it, has returned to the KFC Yum! Center.

-My elephant ears aka "the girls" have had a cozy little winter in the house. Looking downright regal tbh. Nice having them indoors amidst the dreariness of a Kentucky winter.

-I just don't like this Auburn team. I think anything short of a Final Four will be really devastating for us, but if we play them again and lose I think I'll drive my car off the 2nd Street bridge. If that loss happens in the NCAA Tournament I may do something worse.

-3 episodes in on Euphoria. It's interesting. Lass is through season 2 and worships. What I can't get over is the accuracy of Rue's drug dealer buddy, whom they apparently pulled off the street because that's who he really is (personality wise at least), gave him some lines to read, and said he was the guy.

If you ever found yourself somewhere you shouldn't have been in high school or college, you KNEW that guy. He's so damn good, and the kid actor playing his counterpart/brother is unreal too. BBdK, you should study.

-Eating 3-4 clementines a day at this point. /fire

-Big Americano kick lately fwiw.

Difference in network v. cable. Basically anything that comes on CBS is guaranteed 3+ million.
