Reading up on the Flores situation… sportswriters are incensed that Miami’s owners allegedly paid Flores $100K a game to lose. Like they are insulted and shocked that ownership would ever do anything to improve their odds of getting better players in next year’s draft. Have these guys just not watched sports in the last 30 years?

Cats are only a week removed from letting a sorry Mississippi St team take them to OT. Need to remember that when we are down 8 at the first media timeout.

I love our guards, great rotation, can't get enough, but inevitably injury or a cold streak will happen in March. That's why we need Sharpe and Allen getting minutes coming down the stretch.

Any chance we get a signing day surprise today? Still need OL and DB help. Kind of important.

Keeping my little lady home with me today just because. She will probably never remember it, but I will.

* Cleveland Guardians is wack AF, too. Cannot believe they dropped the ball on re-trying the Spiders name. That's a solid re-brand.

* I mean, this is incredible:

Bill Belichick (BB): Sounds like you have landed — congrats!!
Brian Flores (BF): Did you hear something I didn't hear?
BB: Giants?!?!?!?!?!
BF: I interview on Thursday. I think I have a shot at it
BB: Got it - I hear from Buffalo & NYG that you are their guy. Hope it works out if you want it to!!
BF: That's definitely what I want! I hope you're right coach. Thank you. Coach, are you talking to Brian Flores or Brian Daboll. Just making sure.
BB: Sorry - I f—ed this up. I double checked & I misread the text. I think they are naming Daboll. I'm sorry about that. BB
BF: Thanks Bill

🤣 🤣

* And I ain't even got a garage, you can call home and ask my wife.

* Sad day for fair and balanced media as Whoopi Goldberg has been suspended from The View. I mean, all she said was that the Holocaust wasn't about race. That's certainly a #hottake

Can you imagine meeting a chick who enjoys watching this ridiculous show?

* I know Joe Rogan has murdered millions of people with his lies and MISINFORMATION, but I wonder if Joni Mitchell and Neil Young celebrated him all the way back in early March 2020 for having Michael Osterholm (part of Joe Biden's COVID policy advisory board) on his show? That podcast has over 15 million views on YouTube alone, and for many of us was the first lengthy, real in depth discussion about the severity of COVID-19.

(answer: probably not)

* Friendly reminder of how much I love Scottie Pippen's kid. He's so much fun to watch. What a baller.

* I can't remember a time when a single regular season victory changed the outlook on a season as much as Saturday's beatdown of KU. We were looking at a 5-seed, and now all of a sudden we're possibly a #1, and a legit top-5 team. I'm okay with that.

* I'll say it --> I think this Eric Wolford story is being overly dramatized, and it's making us look petty. He was a position coach at Kentucky for 1 season, and left for the best program in the country. I mean it's whatevs. Big time college football, and all that.

* Curious who has the best Drip Game in GYERO?

Wolford was hired as the replacement for the heart of the team that died of cancer during the previous season.

Other than that this is just a completely normal circumstance that happens all the time.

Yup, couldn't agree more. Plus, adding the spider web inside the C turns one of the most boring logos in sports into one of the coolest.

- Wolford also didn't bother to return to Lexington to tell his OL goodbye or to tell UK he had the new gig before he started trying to flip a kid to Bama, so he can eat dicks, IMO. (I get it's Bama, but also, screw him anyway.)

- I finished Yellowstone last night and I rescind my earlier statement. It's pretty damn good. Not first tier GOAT show like Breaking Bad or anything, but I've enjoyed the hell out of it. Rip is still the best character on the show, and my favorite on any active show outside of Jimmy McGill/Saul Goodman.

- It was a stone cold lock the team formerly known as the Redskins would pick the most surface-inoffensive, boring, corporate name possible. It was also a lock that there would be hilarious irony, like Commanders displacing Redskins.

Lotta local salt on how this Super Bowl ticket lottery thing worked out, which I get.

I asked my parents how they got their tickets way back in 1988. Turns out my mom saw an ad for tickets in the newspaper- actual printed ad in printed paper-, sent someone a check ($175 per ticket) and that person sent them Super Bowl tickets back in the mail. Simpler times, I guess.

Season Four of Yellowstone was a disappointment.

S1 of 1883 >>>> S4 of Yellowstone

Unlike the Bengals hierarchy, who after starting 0-11 two years ago, and being a lock for the #1 pick, decided to get hot and win 2 of their last 5, including the last game of the season. We couldn’t even F up the right way. It worked out though. 😬

I'm in the Wolford can GGP crowd. Going on a university paid recruiting visit, but actually interviewing with another team in the conference, letting your former employers find out via the media, and not even telling your players goodbye... complete ***** move. I hope he hates Saban and then gets fired. F that ****.

Our assistant went to the same position at Alabama. He barely knew these kids. Also we got one of their WRs so I’m good with it especially after he exposed what/who he really is. No grown man worth a damn does that, but he clearly wasn’t ok filling Schlarman’s shoes.

Hope your as good as you think because I felt our OL started to lose battles last year toward the end anyway.

Just watched the Freezer Bowl game from 1982. Amazing to watch. I was only 18 at the time, so I just remember it being cold. Sitting warmly in our house, I had no grasp of how cold it really was. At kickoff it was -12 degrees, with wind gusts reaching 40mph — resulting in wind chill temps reaching -59. Yes, 59 degrees below zero. That is insane. Would the current NFL allow that game to be played?

Washington should have gone with Dictatorial Czars (DC on side of helmets) or Overlords. Maybe an outline of the five wealthiest counties in the US just to drive the point home.

We also have a shot to get that center from Iowa. That’s almost like getting another QB. Fingers crossed.
Most mock drafts I've seen have Linderbaum going in the 15-20 range. If he's there at 31/32, he'd be a steal. Ogunjobi and Hill are free agents after the season, so they also need to re-sign at least one of them, too.

I’ve seen a couple mocks with us taking him. Like I said, fingers crossed. There’s a ton of O-line talent available in the first round, but drafting the next Dave Rimington would be sweet.
