I’m an odd duck that for my burgeoning dad bod I still rock Vans around the house and to run errands. My fiancée got me a pair of fleece lined Vans for wearing around the house and they might be the most comfortable shoe I’ve ever wore.

-Finally have my one of my printers up and running. Squid Ink Enterprises coming at you for all your garment/apparel printing needs. We ship anywhere domestic 😉 and have some of the newest printers out there! That Brother GTX Pro is humming right now!

-Nice change of weather down here. Been anywhere from upper 40s-60s the last week or so. Locals complaining like they’re foing to die which I get but they always forget it’ll be 90+ for 6 months in no time and then complain about that. I’ll happily take the weather change for a few weeks.

-Texas Tech kids are loser dorks. “Hey if I flick off this old man he’ll be sooooooo upset with his millions of dollars at a much more well-known institution.”
Jake and Elwood's on Frankfort Avenue has a solid Chicago-style pie. Not quite as good as Malnati's or Giordano's, but I'd put it on par with Uno's and Gino's East.

Been on a tuna salad kick lately. Pretty sure Jersey Mike's is the best amongst the chains. Anna Marie's Spot on Guist Creek Lake in Shelby County has a solid one, too. Love finding locally owned diners and cafes along the Bourbon Trail.

Vegas trip next week. Staying at Bally's and watching the Super Bowl at The Cromwell Sports Book. Stoked.

The Louisville RV & Boat Show was a bust this year. Almost as pathetic as Lexington's. Those Supra Boats they displayed were beautiful, though. Almost $300K for that size boat seems a bit high, but I shall refer to the resident doctor on those things.

-300K for a ski boat IS way too much. That thing does nothing but go fast. Probably holds 5 people plus captain, not much deck room for lounging, I’d want that as a second boat only.
GYERO is supposedly a sports thing, but most of you are clueless. You haven’t lived and died with what some of us have. The home teams — UK, Reds, Bengals. If you choose someone else, **** you.

This week, is Bengals week. If you don’t love em, **** you. You don’t know 1982. And you damn sure don’t know 1988. We were the best. Sam Wyche invented the no huddle offense. Later it became the “sugar huddle”. Then the NFL decided to rule it illegal. Just as we were entering the AFC championship game. We won that one.

Annnnnd we go to the Super Bowl. With the best nose guard in the league, Tim Krumrie. Ugh.
-Stfu. Poor you and your “home” teams. Cincinnati isn’t a home team for Kentucky people, it’s in an entirely different state. There’s a reason why those teams suck because no one outside of a small area could give a ****. It’s just the closest team. Same could be said for Cardinals/Titans/VT/UT/SIU/etc for certain people in the commonwealth. It’s “your” team not the “home” team.

-Besides that^ much love gang! Time for the gym to get out this animosity after dealing with printer guy for 5 hours yesterday and 3 hours this morning.

- New England recs for an early summer trip sans kids? Bar Harbor has been the default leader, but I'm up for any other suggestions.
Maine- Acadia, also beginning of App Trail up that way, some great canoeing, but Bar Harbor if you're going for seaside recs.
Rhode Island- Newport- Don't need more than a day to tour, pricey accommodations in town but gets more reasonable about a half hour down the coast...Providence is a dump, avoid. Block Island, drink on ferry over tool around downtown, maybe tour the island.
Cape Cod- Chatham- good spot- halfway to Provincetown for some people watching and day drinking, close to Hyannis, take ferry over to Martha's Vineyard, spend a couple days if you can.
Boston- you're probably flying in there, no recs but I'd go north first, come all the way down to RI and then head back to Boston.

Puma with the RS Running system have been pretty good so far.

Nice arch and support.

May try and run in them one day.

-joni Mitchell is good at what she does...important in her Era. Counting crows covered "big yellow taxi"...and they are the worst band in history.

^that said I don't listen to her, as I am not a sad lesbian.

-I almost bought a pair of "ons" in Chicago 7 years ago...before they were available in Lexington. Then I remembered I have good taste...when they became the status shoe of choice for lexingtons uppermiddle class choades*, I knew my gut was correct.

*drxman excluded...he's the bomb.

^asics and new balance (shocking) are my go to for athletic footwear. I have a very wide foot.

I could always tell a lot about a person if he/she ever enjoyed watching Jackass. It was the early 2000's version of the non-country club tattoo (i.e., visible when you're wearing shorts and a polo). Just a lowbrow thing to do.

You’re fat and I’ll F### your wife.

Spicy avocado fries are the bomb.

Bartender here at Baha Bay has got the margs dialed in. Truly amazing. On the rocks, light salt for dad.

Ice storm Thursday, may have to extend the trip. Rather be here than stuck in an airport.
DAMN! Bartender figured out margs! Must be some kind of mixologist savant or something! Lol glad you’re having fun bud!

Next thing you know he’ll be making a Mojito or something.

I dated a Chinese foreign exchange student in college for a hot minute. Her English was very, very poor and watching movies was hard -- especially comedies. I had never seen the show Jackass but thought the movie might be good to take her to since it was all physical comedy.

That was a very, very, very poor decision. I'll always remember her look after Steve-O stuck a matchbox car in his *** to get an X-ray.

I didn’t think Matt Jones could say anything to make himself look more ignorant, and then he asks how does snow get dirty lol. This is even worse than how do you hang a picture and how do you get an oil change. When it comes to Man Card, MJ is just below PeeWee Herman. Matt’s handshake must be like grabbing a Kleenex out of the box.

He also smacks women.
