7 foot 6 jamarion sharpe met him and got 28 boards dropped on him. Maybe you should stick to football, barner.
What’s funny is that Toppin is the perfect kind of athlete to slow Jabari down.

Auburn might get beat like Tennessee got beat lol, it’s going to be hilarious if they’re all excited and having this big year, and big brother Kentucky comes to their gym and crushes them.

Treasure these years Auburn fans. They'll be over before you know it, you'll be back to not even realizing basketball season has started, and we'll be getting trash talk from some other random team in the SEC like Mizzou or Georgia.

I remember a few years back we were hearing how our time was over from either a South Carolina or UT fan or something (I can't remember, you're all basically the same) and I even said "I can't wait until you guys disappear and we're hearing this from Auburn fans or something. It's been a while since they've had their time to shine".

And here you are.

This post reminded me of a famous quote by the former NCAA Champion Coach of Marquette the late Al Maguire. When talking about Kentucky basketball Maguire stated:
“They had it before you, they had it during you and they will have it when you are gone.”

Don't let this fake Auburn troll stir you up. He's probably a Tennessee or Louisville fan. Personally I have been on this board 2+ years and have never had an issue with the posters here and vice versa.
We have about 15 or so guys just like him that always come over around this time, just with new names every time. Only @DenimVest and you are the regulars I’ve seen.

Probably Tennessee fans, they usually get hyped up before their inevitable 2nd round collapse.

I never understood talking trash about a sporting event I wasn't actually playing in. That's the definition of a loser with no life. Does it add validation to your sad life to say "but, but ... my guy is going to crush your guy."

Hell we got a bunch of uk fans on the football board talking trash that are Bengal fans and act like the titans shouldn't show up this coming weekend. I don't get it either. The intelligent fans of both teams can talk about a game without talking silly trash. So every fan base does it.

AU football is a dumpster fire. That's justice for all their years of rampant cheating and buying players, cough Scam Newton. Hopefully the sweathog ends up in prison like his assistant coach. That's pretty impressive though, having an assistant coach go to prison for illegal activities. I would've guessed either UL or sweathog were involved and they both were lol.

About the only thing we know for sure is that Pearl and Auburn will break their probation before we even play the game.

Lately we're 1-3 when played at Auburn. We are 4-0 at home and I don't want to talk about the neutral court.

Also... Auburn cheats, so there's that.

Cal needs to start beating these ranked teams on a more frequent basis. Every one of them walk on the court knowing they can beat us. We need to play better defense against Auburn than we did against Tenn. Let’s see if Cal can prepare these guys properly.

There hasn’t been one single Bengals fan act like that. But if it lifts you up to lie, have at it.

It’s the truth.

No, it isn't. We have the 44th best defense in the country. Let's not pretend like that is horrible or bad defense. Sure, it isn't number 1, so it can get better, but when you have the 6th best offense, the 44th best defense is pretty damn good. Ohh, and I think the only team in the P5 that is in the top 50 in both offense and defense, other than Kentucky is Baylor. So, when only 1 other P5 team is doing, it, it must be pretty special, especially given that up until this past week that other team was undefeated and ranked number 1 in the country.

Digging deeper, we have already established that UK's opponents shoot about 30 percent from 3, which is good for 59th best in the country. Again, it could be better, but still isn't horrible by any means. You can say it needs improvement, but again, let's not pretend like it is some glaring weakness.

Also, this doesn't even take into account the fact that the better an offense is, the more likely they score early in possessions and the more likely their opponent gets more possessions a game. We scored 27 fast break points against Tennessee... that means we scored extremely quickly, which means they had even more chances to put up points. We didn't sit there and eat shot clock and shorten the game. We ran a lot in that game, which meant that they had a whole lot of chances as well. In fact, they shot it more than we did.

Our defense has been top 20 most of the year, when you’re scoring 90+ points and you relax on defense and let Georgia and Tennessee score in the high 70s it hurts defensive efficiency numbers.

The last thing I’m worried about on a Cal coached team is defense.

I’ve always found that the “fans” that start trash talk have usually been pretty unsuccessful in sports and life and are trying to live vicariously through someone else.

I’m so old I remember when Florida fans would come here and spew the same ol BS. Enjoy the run Tiger fans, if history shows us anything, it’ll be short lived and UK will continue on.
It seems they’ve all taken a turn over the years and none of them last . Vandy had a run under Stallings, South Carolina had a run under Fogler, Arkansas with Nolan, Fla. with Billy D. Right now Tenn., Auburn, LSU, and Bama are enjoying a” little ride” .They’ll be gone soon enough.

Did you look at their shooting %? Did you notice some of the easy baskets they got on pick and rolls and driving in the lane? Go back and watch. We won’t shoot 67% every game.

We beat them by 28 points, which also played a major factor in how well UT did and how much they scored. Most of the shots we got were easy shots. 27 off of the fast break and 30+ in the paint. We shot so well because they were easy shots.

Our defense is fine. Ranked 44th best defense in the entire nation. I guarantee if we aren't shooting as well as we were, then that defense looks entirely different and Tennessee struggles way more. Tennessee had better looks due to Kentucky dominating them. Not to mention, a large portion of it was just UT shooting out of their asses. Josiah-Jordan James, a 23 percent three pointer shooter making 3 of 6, for example.

The poster said we need to play better defense against Auburn than we played against Tennessee, and that is 100% true. Nothing you posted has a single thing to do with what you replied to.
