Kansas gives Bill Self a lifetime contract.
Wouldn’t you think they would dodge this mistake after what happened to us. 😆
They did, they structured it so that it’s only ever technically a 5 year contract (in perpetuity) vs. say paying a 10y buyout like Cal’s. It’s actually a decent deal for a “lifetime” contract.

LOL. God, that is such a KANSAS Post —claiming some giant achievement in weekly poll rankings in a season that ended without conference or an NCAA tournament. Only a fan of a program with so few real achievements they hang Helms banners would even note such a thing.

What do you think of KU 2020 being identical analytics-wise to 2012 Kentucky?

Don’t you find it sad to always be touting something fake? Helms banners. A “championship” built from analytics or poll results instead of on-court achievements. I get it. It’s embarrassing to have so few real championships. But you can’t just make them up.

That tells you Kansas knows the NCAA is a joke and nothing will be done to them over paying players!
They see what happened in Chappel Hill with fake classes for over 20 years they know if UNCheats can skate they won't be touched. Mc Hammer comes to mind " U can't touch this"

Too bad lifetime contracts don't prevent getting they *** beat by UNI, Bucknell, Stanford, and Bradley..

and recent final fours, #1 rankings and soon to be winningest program. Not to mention the program that damn near started it all

Pass us? With your depleted roster? HAHHAHAHAHA, stay mad. A blue blood with 3 titles, 15 FFS, 3-9 in title games?!????

Embarrassing.

I'm not sure our roster is depleted yet. We played this year without a point guard and no depth. Now we are bringing in Bobby Pettiford, are the favorites for TyTy Washington and have 4 post players in this class to back up McCormack

I think it gives KU a 5 year option to back out. If we don't, then it rolls another 5. Just actually saying what you are, but a different way.

Kansas fans pretending they don't know not only the player behind one of the biggest tournament upsets in years, but the fact that it was on THEM that Ali hit the dagger 3.

Then again, they are Kansas fans who like to re-write history.

Who? And we have 6 titles.
LOL - A new low, even for Kansas.

This pathetic sadsack is not only counting the fake Helms Banners -- championships awarded by a California bread company as a promotion 30-40 years after the fact that mean literally nothing (Helms awarded Kentucky SEVEN championships, by the way. We laugh at them) he's also including a "championship" from LAST YEAR WHEN NO TOURNAMENT WAS PLAYED based on a late March poll ranking.

The claim of six titles screams KANSAS louder than FIVE NCAA infractions, louder than another player charged with abusing a woman, louder than De Sousa's latest violent felony.

Depraved scumbag Bill Self fits perfectly spearheading the most corrupt, classless, & morally bankrupt program in collegiate athletics.
