I think it’s more than just he missed on point guard. Don’t get me wrong I love Cal I love what he’s in for the program, I think he genuinely is a good guy. With the cheating going on if he’s other schools with buying players for whatever reason he’s just not getting the top talent. It’s hard to win the one and done game if you’re not getting the top end talent. He’s going to have to pivot and adjust moving forward if he wants to remain successful.

So what do we do, though? Hire the next coach who gets cheated out of wins? And we accept that? Why because he has the same politics as some of our posters like Morg and ****?

In all realness.. what I think.. my crazy thoughts.. I do think Cal is chopped down by the NCAA. I think the foul situation clears itself up, a little bit, once he moves on. But the cheating is still gonna happen. Players still gonna get paid by LSU and Zona. There's still gonna be bad calls for Kansas, UNC and Duke.. What do we do? And firing Cal isn't the answer.

I wasn’t here because I was on the ESPN boards until 2015 until they made it facebook only. I was watching UK when we won in 2012, when we lost in the NIT in 2013, lost to UConn in 2014 and Wisconsin in 2015.

Wrong again, where did you get that I'm holding Cal to the standard he set his first 5 years? I never said that.

What I want is cal to coach for UK or bring in someone that will. The embarrassing losses are piling up the further we go down this dark tunnel.

This worked when we were getting studs, how long does Cal go before he realizes this **** isn't working?

I bet you a thousand bucks that if we went to the NIT for the next 2 years, he STILL wouldn't change. The NBA draft would STILL be his priority and that is sad. You know I'm right on this.

You either recruit top 5 kids… .land them, or you go with veteran rosters. Bringing in a bunch of hs athletes is a bad idea and has been for a whike, but Cal doesn't know it.

Give Brad Stevens the deal Cal has before duke does, that's my take on it. Cal isn't going to change.

Cal only went to the NIT once, and it was because of a the most impactful injury outside of Robbie Hummel... relax.

If we do this the next two years.. I'll be right there with you. I want to WIN. I dont care about his politics or not having some sort of connection to the players. **** that, and **** the ****** fans who care about themselves.

To me, it's not even about final fours man, it's about what's right for UK. Having a coach that prioritizes the NBA draft and creates this situation that we have right now, is not the right fit for UK. His NBA draft boner is very obvious and it's also very obvious that the NBA draft takes priority over UK and that's not right. That's a slap in the face.

You are okay with waiting another year or two and that's fine, good for you, but not me, I'm done. I can't believe I'm at a point where missing a game is okay. I thought I would never feel that way, but if Cal isn't going to make UK a priority, why should I?

True, the only places that might be able to lure him back are UK and Duke, but he is in a great situation with a great young core in Boston.

This only works if you get multiple top 5 players and mix them with veterans. Have you ever seen it work with non top 5 players?

The landscape has change man, Cal isn't getting the studs anymore, but he hasn't changed.

If your best player is the 8th ranked hs senior, you're in trouble.

If Cal was still getting John Wall, Cuz, Randle, Knight, Lamb, KAT, AD, MKG, Jones, Booker and Ulis type recruits, we would be okay, but he's not and he's not changing to fix the problem. Know why? Because he's still sending 4 to the draft every year and that's what makes him happy.
