Woke up this morning. Opened my eyes and looked around the room. Pulled off the covers and walked into the bathroom. My feet were warm since it’s Summer time, so all was well. I then brushed my teeth for 2 minutes, spit and rinsed my mouth out with water from my faucet.

Right after I finished I realized I needed to piss, so I walked over to the toilet, did my business and then flushed the toilet.

After washing my hands I went into the kitchen and poured a cup of coffee. Three splendas later I’m sitting in my recliner with a hot cup of coffee and a dip. After perusing Cat Paw I decided it was time to go take a shower.

After showering I put on some clothes, belt and shoes. Then I took several steps and found myself in my garage, where I opened the door and found my car. Since it was time to leave I opened the car door, got inside, and then started it up. I looked at different Spotify lists, made a decision and then started listening to music. Once everything was ready to go I backed out of my driveway and began my day by driving on a two lane road. 10 minutes later I reached my office.

HOPEFULLY, you raised the toilet seat, the Mrs. of the house would appreciate that. Also, when you backed out of your garage, I hope you did not forget to open the garage door. You did not mention that part.

My wife parks her Explorer in the garage, with golf clubs and years of **** covering the rest of the garage, I park outside. Never have to worry with opening the door before leaving.

It was obvious why Rogue posted that nonsense. Count the SCOOTS.

* Good Destin trip. Ate some good seafood. Drank a lot. Some foo foo ******** Seagram's Escapes or Coronas during the day by the pool or at the beach and bourbon at night.

* Krazy, there are now more Down Home Toasted fans in my fam. We destroyed a bottle in record time. Good stuff.

* I hit the in-law jackpot. They are all pretty great. My FIL is really having dementia hit him hard. Didn't realize how advanced it was before this trip. Heartbreaking.

* Not many people following any social distancing laws in Florida. That will be a good test case to see if we really need any restrictions at all.

* Let's get some sports going here and everyone will be a lot happier.

* There were a lot more younger people in Destin than usual this year. HS/College aged. Apparently the Covids has caused a swimsuit fabric shortage. Mercy.

* Catching up... Congrats JaimAnth! Anth, it is very cute that you are pretending like you had anything at all to do with the decision.

* Welp, old age is hitting me. My eyesight is going to absolute ****. Fat!, freakishly hairy arms and a bald head should pair nicely with glasses. Sweet.

I'm looking more like Tom Cruise's character in Tropic Thunder everyday.

* Wife jacked her back up in the Gulf. She is a bit of a workout freak and this downtime is killing her. I am "helping out" by giving her back rubs.

"Can you just give me a back rub and not try to turn it in to something else this time?"

"No. No, I can't."

* Golden Tee arcade game with GT Classic, 1998, 1990 and 2K will be arriving at my house by Monday. Eek.

* Happy Tuesday Gyeroing, you all.

Army officials told Melzer he was headed to another deployment overseas with his unit. That’s when investigators said he sought to facilitate a deadly attack on his fellow service members.

They said Melzer used an encrypted application to seen messages to members and those associated with O9A and a similar group called “RapeWaffen Division”. These messages also included his commitment to the hate group and information in relation to his unit’s deployments for purposes of attacking Melzer’s unit.

Investigators said Melzer and his co-conspirators planned what they called a “jihadi attack” during deployment with their end goal of causing a mass casualty event, victimizing his fellow service members.

Yikes.

Went down to see the folks in Middle TN for Father's day. Planned on playing a few rounds with Mel but he apparently he overdid his walking/jogging routine and had to pull up lame. Parents get a *little* older and more decrepit each time I see them and it breaks my heart. Dad mentioned uncertainty if he'd ever be able to play normally again with all his lingering health issues. Over the course of my life, I've played several hundred rounds with him and no realizing I'll no longer have that bonding time is sad. We always were able to have those private man-to-man conversations on the course where I could just unload all of life's problems and he would always absorb and offer advice. Been a helluva run with him, though. #blessed

In addition to the physical ailments, the parents starting to feel indiff to a lot of their valued possessions. Basically they are wanting to dump a lot of their 'stuff' they no longer really have a use for. Scored a fantastic antique barrister bookcase from Globe-Wernicke (Cincy!!) that is still in great shape. I mean, I'll gladly take it and appreciate the piece for what it is but still....

FWIW, Murfreesboro has run out of ***** to give. Social scene was basically like nothing had ever happened. Restaurants at full capacity (filled with older couples), late night bars out of control, very few face masks worn in retail, etc... Stark contrast with Central KY.

Got a beat on some old gold neck Four Roses dusties at cost - eek!

Need to revisit our bourbon zoom call this week. Everyone down?

Yikes.

You need to look on the bright side of that one. Melzer, a neo-Nazi, was also using propaganda from ISIS and the Islamic State to fuel his hate. This is diversity at its finest! A multi-cultural Nazi.

Speaking of that assclown. When he got arrested at the UL Bowl Game with his kid, I happened to forward the article and mug shot to a friend who is a big UK fan, who is Facebook friends with him. Apparently he got that particular website to drop the story and picture. When my buddy sent him the picture, he was furious, he was under the impression nobody knew, much less had a picture.

Could the NASCAR noose story be a misunderstanding? The longer it goes the more likely it seems.

I don't see how see how it matters. If the dude cut off the noose thing from the garage door it's still a bad thing, right?
Think it is most likely that someone opened the garage door that morning, that hadn't in the past, and saw that hanging there. Story goes viral and they cut it off in order to save some face.

But what you said could have easily happened also.

The longer this goes without a picture the more likely it was the door pull. IMO.

Whether it was cut off and left somewhere else on purpose is another story.

It’s a pull handle dipshit. Ever been in a garage? Ever been on a boat?

America is about to be shocked that every rope “noose” application isn’t necessarily a racist hate crime.

From what I’ve seen on social media, a lot of good has come from this false allegation. So keep that in mind.

Do you know how out of touch you have to be to confuse a pull string with a noose in a garage?

Seriously? The FBI had to investigate this, because NO ONE was willing to tell this dude just how ridiculous this was.

That’s the kind of **** me and my buddies live for to have lifelong jokes on each other!

Great, now we’ll get more ex-NASCAR sideline reporters. [sick]

Could we please have a hurricane or attack another country or something to change this current channel that’s been on repeat. There are dead horses being beaten for so long I’m starting to root for the horses to become extinct.

Can’t stress enough about how having a boat and being able to spend time on the water is the best way to completely forget all the dumb/crazy ****!
