Rethinking my decision to open up a angel wing mural shop in Nashville now.
The Clown was skateboarding before there WAS skateboarding in Central Kentucky. Still remember the first REAL skateboard I was able to buy in this area.*
A Hobie Hustler, from Thornberry's in Turfland Mall. Before that all I had was a Roller Derby with those stupid hard wheels and no 'trucks' to speak of. Catch a piece of gravel on THAT thing and you'd be nursing a fat lip and picking asphalt out of your palms/forearms for a week.

Remember having a "California Board" or something like that. It was a maroon fiberglass board. The trucks absolutely did suck. I found that out hitting a rock going down a steep hill. Flipped and landed on and broke my wrist. Life of a skater dude (No Skate Skate doh) 1980ish.
Nashville has been getting by making money on tourism but having low property taxes for a while now. They were already having issues with budget shortfalls pre Corona and were giving out huge incentive packages for companies like Amazon. Will be interesting to see what the recovery looks like in the city.
